I am an American living in Lisbon and a couple months ago my friend, my dog and I made a road trip up the coast of Portugal into Galicia and then East all the way to San Sebastian and then into France where we visited Toulouse. It was a really beautiful trip, and northern Spain is very different from southern Spain in terms of the greenery and food, etc. I liked all the places we visited, including Vigo and Bilbao, but a place you didn’t mention is Leon which some might not consider part of this region, as it is a little further south, and on the other side of the mountains, but I did want to mention it because I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very traditional smaller Spanish city with a beautiful plaza, people were very friendly, and I wish I had stayed longer.
My favourite destination is definitely Oviedo . I have lived there. Beautiful city and friendly people. Yes Oviedo has a lot of monuments and l love the statue of Woody Allen in the city centre. Also Covadonga is somewhere to visit when next you are in Oviedo. Thank you for this documentary. Now l know some other fun places in the north of Spain...😂😂😂
Video speaks of many things but, videos don’t match the content. For example if you talk of bullring show bullring. This is video of nothing except pictures. I can’t use it planning a trip.
