My neighbor is a widowed Nigerian woman and she offered me and my fiance to come over for her birthday and celebrate in her backyard with her kids. I've always wanted to try Nigerian food and I was excited for all the things she brought out.. and the jollof rice was the grand slam of the night. Never tasted rice. So good in my life, it was literally the best part of the meal and that's saying a lot because of how good everything else was. She sent us home with a lasagna tray full of jollof rice. I wish she could have been on this video, I bet she would have knocked these guys down with her family recipe.

I’m a white British male and I made jollof rice after hearing nonstop about it from African members of staff in the hospital which I unfortunately was in for a while The rice is so good and there’s so many recipes on RUclips I really recommend you try it Just take a list when you go shopping coz you’re likely to use lots of spices that i for one didn’t have in the house! I actually brought in the rice to hospital and they were all too quick to tell me how theirs is better! But mine was good! Definitely a pride thing. Jollof is a big W

My lovely Ghanian and Nigerian family, something big happened regarding our jollof rice and who does it better. First let me say i love good food, i experiment and i love both Nigerian and Ghanian dishes. However, in a cultural event we had at work in London the feud started all over again. so there was a large crowd on the said day and non Africans and non Ghanian and Nigerians were the umpires. so guess what the outcome was, it appeared that everyone endorsed the Nigerian Jollof rice as the bees knees. Now i have said, i trust this beautiful feud between these beautiful nations is over. personally i love both, i also strongly believe that a good dish is not about the nation that prepped the dish but the individual chef and ingredients available to them. The Nigerian Jollof was simple but ouch it was sweet Oo. I love you all, now lets focus on developing Africa.

My lovely Ghanian and Nigerian family, something big happened regarding our jollof rice and who does it better. First let me say i love good food, i experiment and i love both Nigerian and Ghanian dishes.
However, in a cultural event we had at work in London the feud started all over again. so there was a large crowd on the said day and non Africans and non Ghanian and Nigerians were the umpires. so guess what the outcome was, it appeared that everyone endorsed the Nigerian Jollof rice as the bees knees. Now i have said, i trust this beautiful feud between these beautiful nations is over. personally i love both, i also strongly believe that a good dish is not about the nation that prepped the dish but the individual chef and ingredients available to them. The Nigerian Jollof was simple but ouch it was sweet Oo. I love you all, now lets focus on developing Africa.
