Very impressive. I wasn't really sure what to make of this redesign, since we only saw it for about 10 seconds, but I'm a fan after getting a better look here.
@@ptaylor5014 did you do a frame by frame analysis of the shot as you were building this? I've noticed that a lot of reviews of the design show preliminary drafts, that over exaggerate the changed proportions, particularly in the nacelles. In fairness, I feel as if the final shot of Star Trek Beyond makes the design seem a little off balance. However, that doesn't seem to be a problem with this model. Perhaps the issue was with the filmmakers not allowing for the new model to "breathe".
At the end of BEYOND, I didn't really like the dash A but now, having seen this video, it's really quite beautiful. Thanks for giving (us) a good look at it from many angles. AMAZING scratch build!! ...And you should probably be nominated for the freekin Nobel Peace Prize
I’m not really a fan of this design nor its predecessor. But this has some elements I do like. The bladed angled saucer and the nacelles. It looks good from the top. But the rest needed more design refinement. The pylons are…I don’t know where to begin actually. I do see you made some minor adjustments to it from the final version seen at the end of ST:Beyond. But your work here is amazing. The Aztec paint job inspired by the Motion Picture Enterprise is superb. Chefs kiss.
@@ptaylor5014MOvies Thanks to streaming and people demanding things be free or they will steal them, you can't make money in theaters anymore. Very few movies break even let alone make money last year, so I don't ever see a Star Trek movie in a movie theater again. On Paramount plus sure but the cast that made the three Star Trek kelvin movies I don't think would be willing to take the money cuts necessary to make a new film that was only on paramount plus.
While it shows increadible craftsmanship, I think it is not that great of a design. In the original movies the Enterprise A showed noticible design upgrades compared to the original Enterprise. In this new franchise the Enterprise and the Enterprise A look like the same ship to me. Still great craftsmanship though.
Your model work is fantastic but I just don't like Sean's design. It lacks the simplicity and gracefulness of the originals. It feels overthought and over designed. It honestly made me like the first JJ Prise better. :(
Thanks for appreciating my work, yes i know what you mean by this design, when i first saw it at the end of Star Trek Beyond i thought what an ugly ship, but it slightly grew on me as i a studdied many pictures and screen shots to build it, my fav all time Enterprise is both of the refits from the Kirk movies, they are beautiful and gracefull too.
No. We’re past this crap; we have the awesome Discovery/Strange New Worlds enterprise that finally soothed the trauma of the 2009 onwards Apple Store enterprise movie shite. Put this JJ-Kelvin crap in a box and forget it ever existed. Better still, retcon the DSC/SNW enterprise into the movies 👌🏻 Yes, this refit is an improvement, but it’s still a stain in the toilet bowl compared to the DSC/SNW enterprise.
This pitiful era of Star Trek is over. Pine and the rest drove this franchise into the ground. Hopefully Terry M will be able to resurrect this IP to new heights Beyond Woke. I mean a gay Sulu, give me a break even George Takei said that was stupid to do.
I might be in the minority as I like the Kelvin Enterprise (and those who came before her). This is absolutely fantastic! 🖖🏻
Thank you 👍👍
Truly talented work. You are inspiring!
Many thanks
That paintwork is masterfully done!
Thanks, it took me a long time to paint it.

Thank you Jake, i have had a few people say the same thing that after seeing my model they have become a fan of this design.

Thanks for your nice comment, yes the kelvin versions of the Enterprise are not too everyone's taste and some hate it.
Excellent work. 🖖
Many thanks
Incredible detail!
Thank you
A shame we will never see that ship in a movie.
I'm still preying that they do finally make Star trek 4, and with this ship in it.

Now those are some ample nacelles. Overall outstanding job
Many thanks 👍

Looks better then the cgi model shown at the end of ST:B
Thanks, i put a lot of time and effort into this build.
Beautiful
Thank you
Damn sweet
Happy you like it 👍
Art !
❤❤❤❤
Shes a real beauty !
Sure is 👍
How much does this above model cost?
It looks very cool. 😉😊
I have it for sale at £2,400, this represents that it is the only one in the world! and the many hundreds of hours to build it.
@@ptaylor5014
so, in Euros, how much will it then cost, since l'm living here in Germany.
Where can I buy this?
I have it for sale on "Facebook" the price is £2,400 pound sterling
This is fucking amazing, I just dislike the design of this ship.

@@ptaylor5014the refit constitution is timeless
Iv got 4 1/350 scales Iv built,
even 40 years later it still looks modern
Just say NO to Kelvin timeline JJTrek, in all it's forms.
Each to their own 😆

Absolutely agree with the woke bullshit, that's what turned me off Discovery nonsense lol.
