Message from Yorktown Captain to Commander, Klingon Vessel: "Your Mother has a smooth forehead!" That's about the worst insult you can make to a Klingon!!
This is the golden era for Star Trek. The ship designs, the uniforms, the phasers, the political state of the galaxy. They really should do a TV series set in this period.
Completely agree. Would love to see this era revisited some day, preferably on the small screen in a new series to allow for more fleshed out stories. There is a lot of potential in TMP-era Trek, where space felt big and scary, and Starfleet was depicted more as a true navy in a dangerous time than the typical explorers and diplomats.
Brings tears to my eyes. Wow we were lucky to have this. Love and miss all you my brothers. Better to have loved and loss then never to have loved at all.
Poor Enterprise was pretty battered, but still dangerous. Your phaser effects for Enterprise were damn good. The Wrath of Khan phaser effects really do look like they have some punch behind them, they're meaty, and your effects managed to capture that aspect pretty well.
The Connies, pre and post refit, were more than a match for the K’T’ingas and D7s. The Klingon ships were all limited by having only a forward firing arc, save for the K’T’Inga’s aft torpedo tube. Connies could deal the pain from the front, sides and aft phasers.
More specifically, fractions of warp 1 on their way up to warp speed. That's why he says "point 3, point 4, point 5" etc. Because they are .1 .2 .3 of warp 1. This is from The Motion Picture.
04:05 That asteroid hit - BOOYAH!!! Yes - Captain Kirk is a tactical genius - oh he's VERY good, as that famous unnamed Romulan captain acknowledged. But his legend has ALSO been entwined with incredible LUCK as well. And THAT right there is a just a bit of the old Kirk good fortune coming into play at JUST the right time!
Just protect the vertical warp core in the saucer pylon. Never realized that was mostly what Khan was targeting initially. That and the power conduit running to the warp nacelles.
This was simply Spectacular!!!! Starship combat...no holds barred. James Kirk with no leash. This was amazing work. Absolutely loved the chain explosion through the klingon ship. This belongs on the big screen for all to experience
That was awesome, one of the best fan made battle scenes. A fight like this is missing in the movies, the Enterprise against a D7 instead of a Bird of Prey or other ships no one cares about.
@@logicplague Kirk oh My enterprise D Warps in Jun luke Picard engage we can't leave him here This far no farther! fire all photons and fire at will will energize abord enterprise and assist Kirk riker witch enterprise and grins and gits to stepping Jun luke as soon as will is on board raise the shilds data Yes sir worf you know we're there weekness are worf Yes sir.
The birds of prey are cool designs, but even though I love em, even though they are highly armed for their size, I don't forget that they are not full size cruisers. D-7's (or K'Tingas) ARE. If a bop is desperate enough to have to attack a Constitution-class it would need to make more liberal use of it's cloaking device. However, D-7's(and later K'Tingas) are meant to go at a Constitution-Class head on. Yes, in ST3 a Bird of prey made the Enterprise look weaker than usual.. but the Enterprise was understaffed and if I recall in need of further repair. Under normal circumstances, a Bird of Prey wouldn't survive a toe to toe exchange like this 5:16
And so, the battle would be one for the history books. Stories would be told of how the Enterprise defended against a Klingon raid in contested space. No one surrendered, no one retreated. Both sides would fight until the end. That day, many Klingons died with honor. They were also reminded that the Enterprise is a prize that can never be obtained.
Okay that was pretty freakn sic!! A lot of love and patience and work went into this. And the opening score was great. Excellent sound work. Hats off to the creators!! Love long and prosper!!
Very good to excellent re-creation of TOS movies technology. It is highly unlikely that the Enterprise would survive a fight with three D-7 Klingon battle cruisers, but what the hey! It's good entertainment!
Excellent!! Loved the asteroid strike on the knock of the D7 right on time! Like Kirk said a lot of skill and a bit of luck! See that’s how Trek movies should be!!
Excellent …….. Yesss I love it 100% Please tell me you have another episode coming. Me and my coworkers watched the others together and we all loved it. Bring in some more Klingon warships and let the fight really heat up and begin. Thank you for your time for doing this me and all my colleagues here at my job site loved it.
Very nicely done! Only thing I wish we could have seen was the use of the 4 phasers mounted on the very bottom and the 2 phasers mounted just above the shuttle bay on the secondary/engineering hull when you had the beautiful girl maneuvering.
I like how you displayed the USS Yorktown next to the USS Enterprise at the end. USS Yorktown, according to the lore, is re-christened USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A.
It sweet she is there. USS Yorktown never let her sister down and in history earn to carry the burden of being the Enterprise. The next time this happen is the USS titan
That isn't canon and would be a pretty shitty thing to do to the Yorktown after it bravely survived its encounter with the probe to rename her and give her to another crew. The A was a brand new ship anyway and that didn't seem to be the case with the Yorktown.
Fantastic! Loved watching this. What was really cool at the end was when the other Constitution refits warped in. I thought. "ok.. I see the El Dorado. I'm willing to bet the (and there better be lol) the Yorktown will arrive! Otherwise, it's going to be a little bit of a letdown." The last one warping in was the Yorktown and I pump fisted in the air and literally said "Yeah!!". Funny enough after I watched this, I thought, I think you would do a good job and would be fun to see a little thing showing the segue between Star Trek II and III, of how the Enterprise had additional battle scars separate from the battle in the Mutara Nebula. Bravo!!

I really appreciate there being more than 3 starfleet ships in the SAME sector to help out for once. 😆
As some other fans have pointed out, Star FLEET implies more than one ship.

Why, so they can keep destroying ST with agendas and woke vomit.

Four Constitution refits that is my idea of heaven. Awesome work ❤
The Yorktown, that made me smile. The Refit and the future Ent-A side by side.
Which presumably means that all the Yorktown could do was warp in and *look* menacing given the state of her when she’s rechristened… ;-)
