This really highlights the difference between heavily tweened animation and hand drawn animation.

Tweening is drawing the frames in between the main poses, which is often used in almost forms of animation except for animatics (rough animations often just to give the layout of a scene and its characters) and some 3D modeling. Animation can be heavily tweened even when hand drawn, whether by a studio or an individual. Sorry, I'm thinking too technically here, and I know I missed your point.
Alana Flynn They mean motion tweening in Flash, which automates the process instead of hand drawing the frames individually. It makes a HUGE difference.

A cigarette I think most people do, yeah. It used to be pretty much ALL Flash you saw online was done with motion tweening. It really has evolved over the years and the hand drawn stuff is preferred.
