I love how calmly Chalmers walks out of the house at the end, and when he hears Agnes scream he turns back, but ultimately decides to leave her and Seymour to their fate.
This is like a very realistic depiction of being friends with someone who has a problem with lying. You give them all this space to tell the truth. You’re patient and polite not to call them out on it, yet still prideful enough to reveal you can connect the dots to find all the holes in their stories, but they keep smiling, keep lying, and you keep giving them your sad, cold, knowing stare. Then you eventually leave, knowing there is fire behind you, either from their house or their pants.

Maybe this would have made a shit joke*, however, I'd have had Chalmers doubt at 9002. A singular point over Seymour's speech skill. Always one step ahead.
dnlng 118 Well, like the title suggests, Chalmers is more prying and inquisitive. He’s using more common sense to realize that what he’s being told are lies and is sarcastic and doubtful. There’s also some small natural reactions and interruptions that make Seymour stammer and lose his composure. It’s actually really different from the original.
@@Enneamorph And the bit with Palmers in the kitchen while it's on fire is edited in from when he was there with Seymour beforehand, in the original he never gets in the kitchen when it catches on fire. Also the final scene in this is a cemetery(implying that either Seymour or his mother died) while in the original it's a firetruck. You can notice the fire is edited in as it doesn't match the rest of the animation, but OP did try his best to make it seems like the real thing.
Original Simpsons cut straight to the jokes (and was hilarious and to the point). The way this was cut is also hilarious but feels different from the Simpsons. This feels more like The Office.
Actually one of the creators of this series said in a commentary track that Chalmers is the most realstic character in the entire series. He's somehow aware that he lives in a weird town.
I love how at the end; Chalmers just casually walks away from a house that's on fire and doesn't call for help and leaves them to burn. That's pretty cold Chalmers.
0:19 I don’t think anyone noticed Chalmers faintly saying “Seymour?” In the other room. That is probably one of the best details. That and probably Chalmer’s interruptions and uncomfortable interrogations.
I can actually buy Chalmers acting that way. By the end he's just so done with Seymour's tomfoolery and dishonesty he can't bear the thought of sticking around a moment longer. If Seymour won't bother to fix what's entirely his own fault then why should Chalmers do so?

Thy Hog best part in the entire video
Anxiety Spike
Did anyone else’s anxiety go through the roof for Skinner?
*They're obviously grilled, Seymour.*
One thing I should
Excuse me for one second
They’re obviously Krusty Burgers, Seymour.
*They are obviously Krusty Burgers, Seymour.*
Well that was wonderful!
Seymour: *does something*
Chalmers: PRESS X TO DOUBT
I absolutely love this. It's just ever so slightly different but also offers enough new material to justify watching the whole scene once again.
I still am trying to get to the bottom of those steamed hams.
Good luck I guess
This flows so well holy fugg

Hello there!
Man Nah he is everywhere!
Ur 4k th like
I love how in this version Chalmers doesn't even eat the steamed ham before calling Seymour out on it.
I love how Chalmers knows the true all along and still wants to follow Seymour's lies. Chalmers is the absolute madman in this one
Ikr
Actually one of the creators of this series said in a commentary track that Chalmers is the most realstic character in the entire series. He's somehow aware that he lives in a weird town.
I love how at the end; Chalmers just casually walks away from a house that's on fire and doesn't call for help and leaves them to burn. That's pretty cold Chalmers.
"should I help? nah they deserve it for lying about the burger and trying to hide that house fire from me"
He never liked Skinner's mother.
He was really sick of skinners lame exaggerations.
Stopaskingformynamegoogle FFSstopaskingme Lol, nice one. That caught me off guard.
Delightfully Devilish Chalmers!
I love that he just sits there at 1:47 then picks it up suspiciously. Gold.
0:19 I don’t think anyone noticed Chalmers faintly saying “Seymour?” In the other room. That is probably one of the best details. That and probably Chalmer’s interruptions and uncomfortable interrogations.
You are an odd fellow, but I must say... you've made an unforgettable Steamed Hams edit.
DXIndustriesInc yo why do I see a lot of brownies all over RUclips...like wtf?

The thing I find funny the most about this video is that this is such an accurate depiction of what a real person's reaction would be like
2:52 "Should I?" HEEELP!!!! "Nah...."
I can actually buy Chalmers acting that way. By the end he's just so done with Seymour's tomfoolery and dishonesty he can't bear the thought of sticking around a moment longer. If Seymour won't bother to fix what's entirely his own fault then why should Chalmers do so?
Chalmers:Eh, he brought this on himself.
Then it cuts to a graveyard. Are we not gonna talk about that?
*cuts to cemetery*
Lol
1:46 this looks real and not edited it’s awesome
