Thank you sooo much. I’m an over 60 year old woman & this was so easy to follow your instructions!
Me too😂
It was amazing to watch this and actually understand how to do it! My kids are so impressed by what I was able to do lol. THANK YOU
Thanks for the tutorial. It was exactly what I was looking for and with no pointless ads or useless information to pad the video. 👍🏾
Chain saw was stored in shed for a year. In a moment of motivation, I decided to put it back together. Oil drained and all parts covered with goo were degreased to a slow death. Really enjoyed cleaning it back to showroom condition. Always let out a few GDS with chain saw on blade misadventures. Video said it can be done; and it did. No swearing. Got it functioning again and enjoyed a quiet victory. Helps to have a clearly stated plan for success. Thanks! Where was RUclips 25 years ago? 🙂
one of the best how-to videos I have seen in a long time. Super clear and short! only 4 minutes, and it was very well-explained. THANKS!!
Some videos are 20 minutes long. By the way, this is my 3rd chainsaw, and by far the best buy of the 3. One electric was a piece of junk, one gas that the chain kept coming off, and it was HARD to get back on. This Worx has amazing power for an electric. And it was not expensive at all. Super easy. If you're a lumberjack, you need more, but if you are a homeowner, it's perfect.
I beg everyone always be careful with your chainsaw. Don't ever press down too hard, let the saw do the work. Don't ever put your head over the blade and press down, keep your head away from the blade, always keep your head off to the side, don't look directly over the top of the chainsaw while pressing down, it could pop straight up, instead keep your head a little off the center, if that blade pops up while cutting, it can get you in the head. I've known someone this happened to. Let the saw do the work. If it ain't cutting smoothly there's a reason. Research Research Research. Wear safety goggles or glasses. Rubber safety goggles cost very little. Thank you.
My chain came off today on first day of use. This video came in very handy.
Coming from a 75 year old female who struggled for 30 min to put a new chain on my Worx, after watching this video it went on in less than 3 min....thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you for this! Saved me from going out and buying a new one as I couldnt figure out how to get the chain back on!
Lifesaver!
This video is EXTREMELY helpful and good. I have had many gas chainsaws and changed chains rather easily. This saw seems illogical and tricky to replace. Very touchy.
My chain fell off and I’m not familiar with this. Your video saved my butt. Thanks.
Thank you for this video! I have a WORX WG304.1 with 18” chain/bar. Seasoned chainsaw users would know this kind of thing. Us newer users need a little instruction that the manufacturer failed to include in the user’s manual. The critics of this video are most likely chronic complainers and fault-finders. Your video does a terrific job of explaining how to fix this problem.
Everyone already said what I was going to say!! I was excited to see a video on my exact chainsaw among all those others! Thank you so much! I was confused as to why the chain seemed to be too big for the blade. Now I see! Yay!!
This saw is my favorite tool! It works so great, I don't got to worry about pull starting, and I can stop to take a break anytime I need it. It is a power horse to for being electric! Love it!
So many videos on here including some of my Worx W305E but none showing the chain assembly which I wanted to be sure of. I have 2 Ryobi's and have got it wrong a few times resulting in some scary moments and a serrated housing . This video was extremely helpful therefore so thanks so much for posting.
Really appreciate you taking the time to put this up. My WORX chainsaw is a little bit smaller than yours, but came apart and went back together pretty much like yours. Thanks much!
Thanks so much for this. Just bought a reconditioned one without instructions.
Thank u! U too Sasha!
this saved my hypertough 10 inch that the chain was constantly popping off, thanks so much
Thank you! I just unboxed it and couldn't figure out how to remove the chain cover from the quick start or the manual. Now I know.
Exactly what i needed to get up and running again. Thanks for the video!
This guy's video can help a 3-year old install the chain. no hiccups. went right on. thanks a million. i highly recommend this video!
Best chainsaw I found on market. I Finished job after my battery chainsaw from orange big store just died on the oak tree.
Thank you!! Used my small worx chainsaw to cut down ornamental grasses, and couldn't figure out how to reattach the chain properly after taking it apart to clean out the mess. All is now well with the world.
Great video tutorial, short sweet, and to the point! Thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! New owner of a chainsaw and thought it was ruined. Fixed it in 3 minutes :)
I'm a 60 yr old women and I've always wanted my own chainsaw. This is the brand I bought. I watched this video to make sure I was putting the chain on correctly. He made it so easy! Love this video. Love this saw. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going out to find neighbors that need something cut down because I've run out of things in my own yard to cut lol
😂 👌🏽
😂❤
Thank you so much for the video it helped my grandfather
Thanks, this video really helped me and my worx did not come assembled and the instructions are useless. Nw let’s see if I can use it without losing a body part.
Thank you so much for the video! My husband was at work today so I had no help. Easy as pie!!
Forget the soap and water, just use a stiff bristle brush like a whisk broom or an old paintbrush. And brush the junk off after each use.
You are truly literate and created a perfect presentation for all of us. Real world scenario.
Your efforts are much appreciated!
!!! Thank you!!! Easy enough that 60’s year old woman can do it!!! I did.
Very helpful video. Thank you for posting this. My chainsaw is up and running.
Thank you, God bless!
Awesome! Fixed mine, thanks!
Excellent video easy to understand-thank you for posting !! I’ll give it a try !! Ok 👍
Thank you, this is exactly the information I needed to fix my chainsaw.
Timely and a great help. Thanks so much.
Thanks, very simple once I saw you do it!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! People like you will go to heaven!!
People go to Heaven only if they have placed their faith & trust in Jesus Christ and that He took the punishment for their sins on the cross.
Thanks for this. Made it super easy.
This is exactly the information I needed. Well explained, thanks.
Thanks so much. Easy instructions without the ‘fluff’👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Andrew!
Thank you so much for putting this on here first time ever owning any type of chainsaw and the chain popped off second time using it and I had no idea how to put it back on same brand and chainsaw mines is a 14 inch small one lol
Great, clear instruction. Thank you!
Thank you! This video really came in handy for me!
Thank you for doing this short video. Maybe I’ll spend less time monkeying around with the chain next time I need this tool. Good job 😁👍🏻.
Excellent video that helped me so much. I have had several gas chainsaws before and changing the chain was no problem. This one seems unnecessarily tricky. I like this saw, but it leaks oil everywhere, and the chain comes off too much.
Great video. Thanks.
Thank, you for you're video.
Thank you for the tutorial.
right to the point. Now back out to the yard. Thanks....I guess lol.
Thanks helped a lot!!!
thank you. you been helpful.😉💯
Great video
Thank you. Men don't read directions. We watch a human manual/another grown man and that's how most of us learn.
Thank you this really helped
thanks for video it worked
Great helped👍🏻💯
Thank you!
Excellent! Was that a 14" saw?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
THANKS MAN!!
Thanks so much.
Thank You 😊
THANK YOU
Thanks 👍
Thank you! Very helpful! Whew.....
Thanks sir.
How long does the chain last before having to replace it? I’ve cut four small trees with 2-3” limbs and branches and still going good. Just want to be prepared.
Really well
With electric chainsaws should you be able to turn the chain by hand. It just seems too loose if I don't tighten it down. But then I can't rotate the chain by hand to sharpen. Wasn't sure if electric chainsaws were this type of tightener need to be tight so that the sprocket can turn it.
Any idea why I can't tighten the chain properly? I have a Worx 14" and even bought a new chain thinking it might be due to the old chain, but apparently it is now. Seems pretty simple, just that one handle screw, but when I do it, it doesn't tighten it enough.
I had the chain coming off every 20 seconds.
It is the 40 volt Cordless, but tensioner etc look the same.
There are enough raves about these saws, electric and cordless, I figure either mine is defective, or I am doing something wrong.
Anybody have any ideas?
I just threw mine in the garbage can this morning...I've tried working with it several times and the chain always ends up coming off. In my opinion its junk.
Hi, what kind of oil should I use?
@dose do you know what kind of oil it needs ??
Legends! Just saved my ass😂❤️
my tension knob is complexly stuck, wont turn whatsoever. Any ideas how to loosen it up? Thanxz
Hi do you know where can i get sprocket inner gear
You need to video a top view
When stored, will the chain and bar oiler drip onto the floor? Must you drain the Bar & Chain oil when stored? I have a new New Worx Electric Chainsaw still in the box for the last couple years, I haven't had a reason to use it yet. Thanks for your review.
I put the oil just before using the chainsaw, and I check the oil level often and add more oil as I go along. I drain the oil and then thoroughly clean it before putting it away for the season.
Also, get used to the oil drips on these units. That is why you add oil so often. I hope this helps.
I have one of these, but when I go to cut the wood, the chain stops. Any ideas why?
I can get it on and tight, but it falls off every 5 minutes. How do you keep it tight during use?
No no I’ve done all that 2 times and it still pops off as soon as I startit
Thx
When I attach the blade I cant move it manually? Is that right?
Chain goes loose again and again...why?
It's a copy of a Craftsman 172.740500
Great video. But what if its not a "she". ?? Mine is a boy. 🤣. Mine didn't come with oil. What type of oil do I need?
Like
You kidding, outdoor sink???
I have this and it's a POS, the chain comes off everytime I use it!
Mine used to work really well when I first bought it. I actually cut a decent-sized tree down with it. But something messed up with the tensioner I guess because the chain will not stay tight no matter what
@@mike28caveman1 funny you just commented on this, just this morning I tried to use it, adjust the chain...the chain fell off again. I'm done with it, I threw in the garage can.
30 minutes of use. chain fell off. lol
sorry, I disagree. It's the best (and least expensive) chainsaw I have owned (it's my 3rd.)
@@joethomas1146 $50 chainsaw. Note to self don't push oil button too much
Tensioner on mine is busted... If just bottoms out on the threads but the chain never gets tight. Total POS.
After playing around with it, turns out the orange plastic shroud over the tensioner is interfering with the blade and preventing it from sliding forward. I Dremel'd off some plastic from the shroud and now it works fine. Seems like a design flaw. I guess they didn't take into account chain stretch over time.
I’ll be buying a Milwaukee one soon. This thing is a terribly designed piece of crap. A chain should never pop off as much as this does.
A little bit more focus on safety next time please. I.E. Make sure it's disconnected, wear gloves if necessary, safety goggles, plug it back in and test, etc.
Seriously? You’re the reason they have to put “safety googles recommended” on a letter opener aren’t you? 😂
You have no idea what you are doing. Did you not see how loose the chain was when you ran it? You are dangerous.
Thanks
