  • This video will introduce how to make a solar self-powered remote control that does not require batteries, does not need charging. Just like a plant, it harvests energy from the light indoor. and as long as there is light, it can recharge itself.
As long as there is light in the room, it can continue to charge itself. So you don't need to install batteries in it.
Under indoor light, the power generated by solar cell is very small, only a microwatt level, so a bq25570 energy harvester is needed to collect this weak power.
Just like an energy pump, the electric energy generated by the solar cell is continuously extracted into the super capacitor.

this Is an excellent idea, I'm surprised not too many manufacturers have done this. I stumbled across this video by accident by looking up how to change batteries in a Samsung remote for somebody and apparently Samsung has a TV remote with solar panel. In a brief search I did find at least one universal remote with solar panel. I would suspect both of them would be using lithium batteries, like the idea of the super capacitor much better. And the best part with the solar panel on the back and the buttons down it won't slide off the couch well it trickle charges.
