Making a tiny brushed ESC
This video introduces how to make a one-way brushed ESC. In order to keep the volume and weight of the ESC as small as possible, all SMD components are used to make it. Attiny13 is used as the ESC MCU. Input a PWM wave to the attiny13, and the attiny13 MCU controls the on-off time of the N-channel MOSFET transistor according to the duty cycle of the PWM wave. So as to realize the control of the motor speed.

    this Is an excellent idea, I'm surprised not too many manufacturers have done this. I stumbled across this video by accident by looking up how to change batteries in a Samsung remote for somebody and apparently Samsung has a TV remote with solar panel. In a brief search I did find at least one universal remote with solar panel. I would suspect both of them would be using lithium batteries, like the idea of the super capacitor much better. And the best part with the solar panel on the back and the buttons down it won't slide off the couch well it trickle charges.

    • @DIYQiQi
      @DIYQiQi Год назад

      Hello, 1. You can refer to the manual document of the super capacitor, there should be a charge-discharge curve on it. 2. Due to the self-discharge of supercapacitor, light use can last one to two weeks. Use Lithium-ion supercapacitor (LIC) with larger capacity and less self-discharge may better.

    • @DIYQiQi

      About a week or so, depending on the actual situation. However, the self-discharge characteristics of supercapacitors make it impossible to use for a long time.😀I have found a better way, Will upload video later.

    Blinking LED on charger, at 4:50, doesn't mean the caps are charged. This particular charger has no such indication. Blinking means that fail or incomaptible battery is inserted. However I believe, the caps are charged to some point during that few seconds (altough not fully).
