Nice!! Looking forward to seeing what you are going to do with the seat frame. My floor in my Ford is going to be heavily modified. I Have some ideas, but it will be good to see your solution for your car.
Bloody top job Kyle as I said before I did a split square wall tub in mine massive job far from as neat as yours mate.. Yours looks professional and nest mate credit to you, there's a massive amount of work fitting tubs whether it be like yours or hoe I did mine mate.. Looking fantastic my friend 👌👌.. I used sika to seal mine and then etch primed then stone guarded both of them..
Thanks mate! I think it’s come up not so bad for only the second car I’ve tubbed and the first of that style wheel tub 🤣 I will admit it was probably a bit easier on mine with the added benefit of being able to remove the quarter panels.
@@TheRestoShed 💯 would've been soo much easier Kyle.. You've done a fantastic job mate,it was my 1st time and 1st ever car that I'd tubbed.. Definitely a massive learning curve.. I'm using a vt to vz rear seat Cars n Things restos have a vid on fitting the seats to their blue kinga.. It actually gives you a little more leg room which they were never great for.. Yours will be a bloody awesome car once done mate keep up the great content 👍 👌
G'day I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but what size will the diff need to be and what type diff are you using ?? Keep the awesome videos coming, cheers
@@TheRestoShed So do you have to do inspections with an engineer like other people I follow from there, or is that like a by-territory or area thing? Tubs came out great!
Great work but please don't call it a 'mini-tub', it's a full tub. A mini-tub is fitted flush to existing rails where-as you've cut out the chassis rails changing it totally under engineering rules Australia wide to a full tub.
Nice job mate ,I gotta do the same on my q , very good video
What a hell of a job to put tubs in. Looks great but what a lot of work. Keep up the great work.
Crikey mate! Glad it was you not me with the lizard 😂
Awesome stuff mate keep it up

Coming along nicely sport. I'll have to get you over to look at my coupe sooner rather than later 😎🥳
Looking forward to it pal!

Diff length will be determined on the backspace and size of the wheels. I’m yet to measure for length.
Diff will be a shortened 9”.
Hi what size are the rear rims 15x10?
Yes 15x10
@@TheRestoShed also how wide are the tires it looks really good on the car
Section width is 13.4” when mounted to that sized rim.
@@TheRestoShed awesome 325/50/15 nitto
What’s the brand of your rear tires
Just had your channel suggested to me, and I've been binge watching. Out of curiosity are you in AUS or NZ? I'm not great with accents.
Australia

Factory rail is still partially there, it’s just been modified. To me, a full tub is when a rear clip is fitted.
