  • In this video we show you step by step on Minitubbing a Holden VN Commodore, If your looking for wheel clearance and need more room then doing a Mini Tub job on your car is the way to go. if you do it like we show here your car will still appear factory for most people as your using the factory tubs and widening them.
    You can also go a full tub or chop your factory tubs out and replace them with a aftermarket tub. This is the easiest way to minitub a car.
    If you need custom work done to your car then hit us up.

    My third time watching this honestly i think it shows that its basic. You can get kits to do it but how you moved it across is spot on best option

      Yer for sure mate, like if you have money to spare then buy the new tubs and go down that path. but this works perfect for most people.

    Hey mate im looking at doing the same thing to my car. im just wondering did you have to move the bottom bracket for the shock absorber

    • @RCSMediaDivision
      @RCSMediaDivision  Месяц назад +1

      Hey Mate, You have a few options. You can cut off the factory mount and weld on a bolt so its very similar to a ute diff, you can just swap out to a ute diff if its easier for you too ( i have done this before) but if your keeping the factory setup you will need to do something. if you get a coilover shock or similar they have a swivel eyelet mount at the bottom. This car already had those in it so it had enough movement to allow for the relocation.

    Any mod to how rear shocks mount after moving inner guard in

    • @RCSMediaDivision
      @RCSMediaDivision  11 месяцев назад +2

      This had coilover rear shocks so they have a ball joint mount and it can move enough for the shock to be fine. if your running a standard shock you can just cut off the mount and weld on a bolt so the shock mounts onto a bolt. exact same as how the utes are. that way it can be on the angle.

    The stone guard isn't a inch thick its a few mm your showing a section of seam sealer hanging off it not stone guard. Some etch primer and rust kill would have been nice so this doesn't rust out for the customer.
