Great review. I think you saved me $60. At this price, knee pads shouldn't be falling off, the wrist and hip joints shouldn't suck and the legs should be in scale. Killer paint job and headsculpt though... bummer.
Completely disagree, I have this figure and for $60 it's a great figure, other figures that are this movie accurate cost a lot more. I have the Mezco 89 Batman as well which has a phenomenal head sculpt but it costs double and it's a smaller figure.
Well done review bud! As for the wrists, if you stick the arms in some hot water it should loosen it up enough to move. Just be careful not to use too hot of water and it might take around 5 minutes in the hot water to make a difference. Don't use boiling water either but just a little cooler than boiling.
I was on the fence on getting this. I'm sure glad you put this video. Now I know not to get this item, because I'm one of those people that likes to pose the figure and take pictures. This company needs to get their act together. I like the figure, but it's just a shame that you cant do a whole lot of articulating poses. All that peeling and pieces falling off, im afraid its just going to break.
Sucks about the knee on your figure. When I got mine, his left arm was off. It was tucked away under the cape. I think they forgot to assemble it on the assembly line. When it came time to package it up they stuffed it behind his cape. Not a big deal, it just had to be popped in place. Either than that, it's a great figure for the price point.
I bought this one and the modern suit version from The Flash for 49usd each, mine have zero problems and are really nice, the modern suit is even better due to the cape but they both look good as standing pieces, especially compared to other Keaton figures which are most expensive and frankly look ugly
this is THE BEST most accurate Keaton Batman returns ever other than the hot toys batman returns. however the hot toys one has very little poseability and the suit is prone to tearing at stress marks if held in a pose for a long time. plus the price is just not worth it. this is basically that version, shrunk down and added articulation.
I got the new Hot Toys ‘89 Batman on preorder. Honestly, I should’ve got the Flash Batman preorder as it seems like that one seems to have more flexibility.
@@brandofigure the flash Modern suit Batman looks better to me. It kinda combines Batman and robin batman and batman returns suits. I looked at the hot toys batman returns hot toys for a long time but couldnt justify the $600-800 USD price for one. The came along this Beast kingdom one and it was that.
@@HCN27 dang! I forgot to mention the stand. It doesn’t include the stand, unfortunately. If you want this, you’ll have to buy a separate stand to prop him up. Although he does stand straight up just fine, but he does have the risk of diving off the shelf.
@@HCN27 so sorry I didn’t see this comment! The best stand would be the standard Mafex stand! The claw/clamp wraps around the figure’s waist without a problem.

This is what my reviews are for! It’s to see if they’re really worth the purchase to you or not. Thank you for watching!

I believe they’re definitely trying, but I agree, they need to up their game.

I keep my Mezco in the box. Will that save Keaton?
I think it should be okay as long as the box is placed inside a cool, dry place.
Great, detailed review. Thanks!!
Glad it was helpful!
Great review brother thanks for the look at him
No problem 👍
Thanks for your review! What about the stability? It doens’t include a stand so it could be a problem, don’t you think so?

@@brandofigure which stand do you recommend me for this figure? Could I use a hot toys stand that I don’t use?
Yeah, I'd like a recommendation on a stand to use, too.
