I think lowering the price point from $120-$60 and making the figure all plastic with just soft goods cape, makes a lot more sense. It ruined the 89 figure along with the weird likeness of the portrait or the face/mouth is way too large compared to the cow when it actually should be inverse on that suit. Looks cool, but I just hate soft goofs on smaller figures This one looks awesome. I’m gonna pick it up, I just wish they make an 89 2.0 in plastic, and the same thing for the Joker.
@@mitchell7309 I think there is a 89 2.0 in the works. They showed it a few months ago and it's gonna be pretty much the same style as this, but likeness still a bit iffie, hopefully thar would change when we get our hands on it. Yea all the innersuit with armor pieces over the suit was not needed. I understand why, they wanted to be true to actual suit design but execution was just poorly done.

We were talking about these on Insta yesterday I believe. Looks much better than the 89 version, but its probaly still a pass for me. Im curous to know how you got the Mezco cape to drape like that. Looks great!
Very cool. I might pick this one up. I hope they bring out a 2.0 1989 Batman like they are doing with the Ben Affleck Batman. I would also buy the 89 Batman again. I just got the Batman Returns Beast Kingdom Batman. That one is a homerun too. Hopefully you can review that one too.

Great pick-up. Your right this figure looks way better the cowl is alot more flush than the 89 version. How many inches is this figure ?
8.5 inches if u count the ears

A lot of folding. Mainly folding the inner ones back. But they still stick out, I just let other figs help put the sides in a bit in photos.
@@toys210I think if Mezco would have put a wire in every seamline, instead of skipping every other, it would have draped much better.
@@TheCollectorCave yea that way it could at least have the wires pull the cape down. Or just use a much softer and thinner material

If you like this one, the Returns version is worth checking out as well. I have both and they are the best Batman figs BK has relased to date.

One figure that is amazing is the Arthur Morgan 1/6 scale from Limtoys. The head model is crazy good. You should check out that figure
Oh yea limtoys usually do really good job with their figs too. Just like the mgsv stuff. Too bad I am not big on red dead games

Yea is they can get the sculpt better and better engineering then I'll definitely get them too
