Devito’s penguin is actually really underrated. The makeup and look was just so creepy. While he acted a bit cartoonish at time, I still liked his performance.
Burton gave us the best Batman, Joker, Catwoman and Penguin. He would've given us the best Riddler and Two-Face aswell with Robin Williams and Billy Dee Williams had he not been axed by Warner Bros.

Batman Returns in my opinion is still the best Batman film. Talented cast, great pace, story, action. The city is dark and beautiful, so atmospheric. Costumes are great. The sound effects and music are great and memorable. Still the best Batman film for me.
I can't describe how much I love Batman Returns. It's so campy, over the top, full of dark humours, yet the twists and turns are so real yet fictional. Did you know that her stunt double (Kathy Long) tried and failed? Her stunt double couldn't do it. But I don't think Kathy Long spent three months training with a whip like Michelle Pfeiffer did. Kathy Long is a kickboxer - not a whip handler, so that's no surprise that she couldn't do it but Michelle Pfeiffer was so pleased with herself when she nailed it in one take that she improvised that little skip she does at the end.
I saw this movie for the first time at an age too young to appreciate how well this movie was made, every scene is beautifully shot and Michelle Pfeiffer is grade A+ BABE

The Batman you don’t have to worry. I found out on Gotham Insider yesterday that she’s still alive. They found one of Two-Face’s goons with her claw marks on his face the other day. GCPD Forensics has confirmed that the scars came from her claws.
