  • Here is my new step stool with quick adjust legs. With one shake legs will come out giving it a new height, now it can be used as a small chair. Easy to make using plywood, screws, nuts and bolts.

    I prefer the idea of two nested stools. A little heavier than your design, but it still gives you two different heights (and the difference in heights can be quite large if desired). In addition, it can give you two stools to be used at the same time.

    Brilliant idea, good use of the magnets!
    May I suggest you use nyloc nuts for the legs, just in case the nuts come lose?

    Aloha Jack, another great project that's very useful. In regards to your turntable tool stand is there a place you have the plans for that or could you explain the mechanism you made for locking the table.
