always a pleasure to see you up and active making jigs.
I haven`t been with you very long ( hadn`t found you) but I agree with these guys, pleasure to watch
Nice idea, Jack. I like that it can be used for 3 things, and that it can be easily popped out to use for other things. I'll make one.
Hi jack I've been watching you doing your projects for a long time now and you really do make these with great skill you really do inspire me and no doubt lots of others who take the time to be on your web site I look forward to watching every project you achieve thank you jack for sharing all that you do all I can say is brilliant and keep up the great work you put out for your fans 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching, many more on the way.
Nicely done Jack. I love all your other jigs too. You think outside of the box and that is very commendable.
I think I have too many jigs. Thanks for watching.
That's like having too many clamps, right? lol
Exactly my thoughts. :)
Nicely done Jack, love the coordinated multiple use...
Thanks, nicest one I’ve seen will definitely make one
Nice! I like your design and will use it. Thanks for sharing!
Very ingenious, providing multiple uses from one homemade tool. 🙂🙂
Great idea. I think I need to build one of those and tune up my tablesaw.
Another great tool Jack! I cannot wait to create this one.
Congrats again to a master thinker! I really like this, and need to be buildin' me one of 'em. I also like your "trick" for drilling to put the back in. I have a pulley assembly I need to install for a purple martin house, and was stumped on how to seat the pulley. Now I know how! Thanks again.
Always good! Thanks Jack for sharing your knowledge & ideas.
Thanks for checking it out Mike.
Another fantastic and innovative job, by the Great One,
Thank you for sharing this!
Thanks for that Jack, just bought a dial indicator and your jig is just what I need, will be making it soon👍
This is an excellent and simple design Jack. Thanks for sharing :)
Very trick Jack. Nice job on a handy jig.
Hi Jack following you from just up in Terrace, BC. Love your videos and want you to know I appreciate your sharing. Saw online you’re in Delta. Grew up in Surrey.
Congratulations on 200,000 Subscribers
+youtube youtube Thanks.
Great idea Jack! I echo what Martin said! Thanks for what you do and for sharing it with us.
Jack, over 200,000 subs!!
Bravo
great work Jack I love the magnet and the 3 ways to use it pretty clever my friend
Thanks Patrick, I think your Alignment tool looks pretty fancy.
thanks buddy
cool jig. i may just have to make one. i like the versitility. thank you for uploading the video.
Jack, you make some killer jigs
I like the 3 in 1 tool use. Very flexible.
good job, congratulations from Brazil
nice I'm definitely making one for myself, thanks for the content.
all I can say is you're a big inspiration Jack. Great jig, any ideas on a good rip fence for a table saw they're too much to replace . thanks
+Michael Cracchiolo check out @johnheisz he shows how to make one.
wow. you always come up with something nice
1st CONGRATS on the 200k Jack that is awesome! 2nd that jig(s) is/are awesome too thanks for sharing the good idea
Thanks Joe.
Jack Houweling always man!!
Liking that! I always fiddle with those articulating arms. Kind of a pain. Think I'll build this!
Nice work, thanks for sharing 🙂
Nice build there Jack!👍🏻 I really like that vise you had on the drill press! You have a video on that? Congratulations on the 200k! 👍🏻👍🏻
+Bill M Thanks Bill, check my videos and you'll find the vise.
nice work Jack, Great idea,
Great stuff as always Jack thanks for the tips.
Great idea. Thanks!
That is so cool, I think I will build one.
Very nice work. I like that it's multi-purpose. I don't, however, quite understand the reason for the angle on the side of the jig. Is that just to make it easier to read when used on its side? Thanks for sharing.
+Larson Bennett Thanks, yes the angle makes it easier to view.
nice work man
jack, when you compress the wood as you did at the drill press I think it creates a strain on the drill press...??? nice job as usual.
Nice work jack!!! I need to make one of these 👌
Thanks Ryan, I will help you make one.
Nice upgrade Jack. I can see you using it to make micro adjustments on the blade to fence distance for needed precise cuts occasionally. Do you usually measure the blade square and fence that often?
+MRrwmac Not often, but with this tool you can check anytime fast just for reassurance.
Jack Houweling Very good point. Thanks.
Jack Houweling may I offer you a tip? After having change the belts on my drill to dial down the speed for a metal project, I've been lazy and haven't changed it back. Using forstner bits at an incredibly slowed down drill has been an eye opening experience. It's cleaner, doesn't burn and--get this--seems to cut faster. No offense intended as I'm continually impressed by your craftsmanship, just an aside I thought I'd share.
+Boris the Bilder Thanks for watching. I had it on the lowest speed but the video clip was sped up and my bit wasn't the best.
Thanks for responding. Really enjoy all your content. That makes sense now...didn't realize you sped it up.
Wow very nice we are going to make one tomorrow thanks it’s the nicest one I’ve seen.
nice little tool
You are one clever dude. I have made several of your items.
One question: How do you use your table saw so close to the wall?
Keep up the great work
+Joe Drobniak Joe, my saw is on wheels so I can move it around for large pieces.
Hey Jack that is some great work! Do you have any advice for a table saw with an aluminum top? I cant use magnets to hold it down to the surface like you.
That is excellent.
Great Jack, can also be used with router table!😆😆😆😆
Good idea.
I like you video,thankyou!
Great jig! A couple of questions for you. What is the weight you use at about 4:46 and where do you get the magnets? Thank you.
+Jay Hotchkiss It is a homemade weight. You can get the magnets from Lee Valley.
Good Job With 200k Subs
Thank you very much! I have a question about your poor man's dial indicator (with two brass rods): How accurate is it? Thank you in advance for your answer.
wonderful!!
Hello, I didn’t see in the article what magnet you used, do you happen to have a link where to purchase?
Magnets are available at Leevalley.
wow nice👍
Thanks.
How can I make this without the Forstner bit or a drill press and or magnets ?
Чувак ты крут.
Very nice build! At the next! #PaoloBradaDIY
Sweeeet!!
Dial indicator does not ship to my location...USA.
I will check it out.
Omarateastwind Plenty of sources. Put "dial indicator" into google, Ebay, amazon.
I know....just letting Jack know so he might make some commissions with his affiliate link...
Omarateastwind Ha-ha. Good point! More power to Jack!
You can get various magnets (including those with switches) at Lee Valley. They also carry dial indicators. By the way Jack, that was another nice project. As usual.
Nice job Jack. I cringed a little when you were pushing the block over the table saw blade without a non slip push block. Newbies will be watching and try to copy what you do without your experience.
This is from saw 3
I will be making one soon. ..but seeing fingers pushing wood over a blade ...yikes
There is no point to a micro adjust on a table saw fence. Totally unnecessary. Not being fixed in the miter slot I don't see how it's any good to align anything on the table saw either. This one's a fail for me.
Cool vid. Thanks for sharing. Although you did scare me with the dbl block thru table saw. I do not recommend this for a novice. Enjoy your videos Stay well.
