Great Jack! I am the Brazilian crafter and sometimes I am amazed by the beauty of the Brazilian woods ... interestingly some of them I only saw in videos! Greetings from Brazil
Nice! I've missed your videos! Nice to see you back!
That's a nice hinge Jack, nice enough to go into my playlist for rewatching.
goood job jack
Hinges are more solid then the cabinet!!!
Great job Jack
Jack is back! I'm a big fan of Jack.
Those hinges are beautiful Jack!
Thank you Jack, I have been wanting to try making wooden hinges. Saving this video to watch again. Great job!
Let me know how it goes.
Jack as always you give us something different. Great to see you again..
Nice job, Jack. Really beautiful work.
Those are beautiful hinges. Thanks for sharing this tutorial.
Love your videos. Glad you keep putting something out even if you take breaks.
Beautiful finished product. Spider escapes annihilation. That's what we call a "win-win".
suicspider !
I watched this yesterday, but I had to come check this video out again... man, what a snazzy set of hinges. 🔥
They look great Jack.
Always Nice to see you in your shop designing and building new projects for us to enjoy! Those hinges look and work Great! Thanks for Sharing!
Am glad you enjoyed them!
Nice job. Looking forward to the wooden lock video. Thanks.
Great job, BIG JACK
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! As a cabinet maker I enjoy the authentic, real dull bits that smoke and burn marks from a ticking bandsaw blade. Not to mention you don’t waste all that time smearing the glue around every square milimeter! Nice work.
Great Video! Thanks for sharing. You're a man of many talents!
Nicely done Jack.
Good job Jack! That is something I must try as I organize my shop. They even creak like antique hinges.
They just don't make them like they used to anymore. I like that creek.
@@dimitar4y Saw a lot of homemade stuff when I worked in antique restoration. Craftsmen of yore did their best with what they had and I'm sure they would have given an arm for the tools techniques and materials we have today. When they made stuff it was a chore. We do it now because its cool, interesting and out of the ordinary. I say we keep the craft alive.
@@cspann831 Definitely agreed. Modern day industries and "people" like to act like craftsmen are awful and bad, because it's "ugly" and "not commercial".
holy cow those hinges look great!
I found this very helpful. Those were some nice hinges there.
Great design. Absolutely Beautiful, and as usual, demonstrated in a very easy to understand method! Thank for sharing! Even using most any type of scrap wood, this would really elevate an otherwise simplistic project!
Really nice looking hinges. Spider has its own website too
Very creative comment, Bill. You made me laugh out loud. I needed that chuckle today.
That's a beautiful hinge sir !! 😊
Very cleaver Jack! Nice job on these hinges. Looking forward to your lock video.
Beautiful. Nice work.
I enjoy watching your videos.
Thank you very much.
I was wondering when I would see another video it’s been so long I was beginning to get worried. Nice work.
It's so good to see you Jack! Thanks for the great video and project. I look forward to seeing you make the lock.
Awesome work as always
I always admire your skills, amazing project👍

Awesome video!

Thanks for the interesting video! Good design. Great job!👍 If the thief tries to open the door, it will be heard well.😊
Great job thank you 👍👍👍✅
Good one Jack! Gotta love wooden hinges. I would have waxed the dowels & inside of the holes before inserting them.
Sensacional! Maravilhoso trabalho.
Excellent video, how good will they work with pine?
Eres un artisra , tus videos me gustan mucho , sigue asi
Thats pretty darn cool.
Good ! And you can add sound to terror movies, too ! Hehehe ! Thanks for sharing !
Cool hinges, bro. Thumbs up!
It would look great if you attach them with wooden pegs instead of steel bolts. Also, you might want to put some kind of grease on the parts that rub together.
Good idea! thanks!
Very impressive
Ficou muito bom parabéns.
Nice looking hinges. I was wondering if you have plans available for the hinge. I would like to make some only at a smaller scale for my project.
Nice, can't help but feel that perhaps wood dowels turned to look like rivets and glued to the door would have added more charm with those hinges, but that just me, well done.
agree
You could use a button type plug and get that same look.
Great video. My dowels are always too small/loose for the "indicated" drill bit size, no matter the source. Did you make your own dowels? Just wondered, since they fit so tight.
Love these hinges. Would have looked even better if they had been attached with dowels instead of bolts
long time no see ... is it me or is it you ???Anyways it's always good to see your builds ... recently I made cabinets for my small workshop and I'm lucky to come across this video ... so this going to be my next project , thanks.
super , Félicitations !
Nice!
These look great Jack :) ॐ
God work 👍 auguri Buona Pasqua
I thought it was Jack work
Frohe Ostern...
Love the concept, have to make a few. Did you wax the dowel?
I did add some lubricant.
Just liked and you have a new subscriber.
Spot on
awesome !!!
Nicely done, the only problem is the long wait between your videos.
his wife passed away.
@@SkunkTreeCarvings I'm sorry to hear that.
One way to line up the hinges is to use a pin that goes through both hinges, lay the hinges on the cabinet and make sure the pin is parallel to the joint between the door and cabinet. Then cut the pins or replace them.
How'd the spider make out? I couldn't watch. Nice job as always Jack but wouldn't a little waxy lubrication have helped on those pins? Thanks mate, always a treat.
I did add a small amount of lube, but I wanted them to creak.
Jack Houweling Oh I see! I'm afraid I don't share your delight in the creaky hinge, they'd drive me crazy! Very enjoyable vid mate, thanks again.
I think the hinge would be smoother if you applied some bees wax to those hinge pins. They sure look good. Nice job.
I wanted them to creak!
Love it jack
thankyou,I love you!
Nice hinges! Some UHMW tape used as a spacer might get rid of the squeak when opening.
Хорошо!
substantial
Good job Jack 👍👍👍💪
Gruß Martin
super . y gracias por el video una gran idea
Best one
Hi Jack
I was just reading your reply to tim NORVISE FLY TYING VISE you hade one & sold it on & you went about building a replacement vice did you every make a video on how you made the VISE love to make one like NORVISE looking forward to hearing back from you tight lines Rob
“No spiders were hurt in this video”. But one does have short nails now.
i haven't found one of your videos i haven't enjoyed yet
That's some pretty lively spider wood.
I think the hinges were a bit of an overkill for the size of the cabinet and door and could have been a bit thinner; I would also have liked to see wooden dowels instead of metal screws to fix in place but overall this is a good video and well worth watching.
Красиво.
NICE
hey jack where were you
Was that spider the boss?
Paraffin was will fix that squeak right up.
