A detailed look at the Pa’Lante Desert Pack

I used this pack through the 700 miles of the PCT desert pack. This isn’t a review, but more so a look into the details of the pack and it’s aesthetics/features. I’d recommend this pack to any palante user or to anyone who wanted to use a palante but didn’t before since it was just a bit too small. Hope this helps!

I am interested in how much weight the Desert Pack comfortably carries. My base weight is around 11-12 lbs. Will the Desert Pack comfortably carry 20-25lbs? Great looking pack!

Carries 20-25 pounds, reminder as a frameless back it stuffs to the shape you pack it.

how heavy is the pack with nothing in it? i ask because most of the “features” you listed would be cut off by an UL backpacker for sure

According to their website, depending on material choice it weighs 19.4oz or 20.1oz.
Also, curious how you would define "UL backpacker"? And what features do you think they would cut off? Thanks!

Best to watch their Instagram for release updates. Some products sell out in minutes, Desert pack lasted on the site for a few weeks. Small company small quantities, my guess is they use the revenue from a release to pay for the next product production....
