- I did a poll of 5 heavily-requested songs on my channel. And this won by a lot. I liked it. The hook is still bouncing around in my head. Thanks, Meth...

Alot of hip hop artist sample classics and put a hip hop spin to it , I have learned alot of beautiful classics becuase of hip hop , I loved the music . I discovered isley brothers, sam cook , phil Collins, al green, all because of listening to the songs and then my friend put me on to the originals . R.i.p. whitey.
RIP ASON UNIQUE...WU IS FOR THE CHILDREN
Did you see my reaction to Brooklyn Zoo?
Definitely one of the best and most recognised hip hop songs. C.R.E.A.M is literally referenced to this day and has been mentioned in countless other hits from other artists.
Not sure if its been requested but 2pac has a song with Redman, Method Man and Inspectah deck called Got My Mind Made Up from the AEOM album.
That song has not been requested. It sounds interesting. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@ABoomerReacts I requested it in the comment section for the 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted video lol 😂😂
@@forcedtohaveahandle You're right. It's there. I have my requests in Excel and I hadn't alphabetized my Tupac list in a while . Got My mind Made Up and a handful of others were still on the bottom. Where I didn't look.
@@ABoomerReacts It’s cool tho, no worries 😊
One of the great songs
I actually got the acronym CREAM on the back of my arm. This song is one of my favorite WU songs and hip hop songs period. Thanks for doing this
My pleasure, Jonathan! I enjoyed it.
The official music video gives a nice old school nostalgic vibes.
Ha! Someone today suggested that I watch it. So I did; and I said to him that the video certainly sets the vibe.
There’s a solid argument that this is the greatest hip hop song of all time.
easily a top 3 hook of all time. perfect pairing of production and rhyme style, and a quintessential example of NY 90s hip hop.
Wow! That's a big statement!
@@headcontraption Wow! Also some powerful words! I'm glad I liked it!
@@ABoomerReacts i’m so glad you appreciate the craft and nuances. most people new(ish) to hip hop can’t get past the questionable subject matter, which, when contexualized, is a reflection of circumstances and desperation that exist completely independent of rap music. it is truly a contradiction to simultaneously celebrate and bemoan the negative aspects of “street life”, but that’s exactly what hip hop is: a contradiction. even the production (often) simultaneously “steals” and recycles music made by other people and creates something original and vital. people who see things in black and white struggle with the duality.
@@headcontraption I'm still a newbie and I have a long way to go. Whatever contraption you have on your head, I want one too. You are such a bright person.
C R.E.A.M. is a Brooklyn term but it got turned into a Acronym from Raider Ruckus methodmans friend he is originally from here in Brooklyn and the dollar dollar bill ya'll part came from Jimmy Spicer he was a rapper that had a song called "Money(Dollar Bill Y'All)"so these are the two original sources of the hook
They took all that and weaved it into gold.
@@ABoomerReacts A Boomer Reacts that's the truth Methodman did the something with his song " Methodman" he took Hall & Oats "Method Of Modern Love " spelling of M-E--T-H-O-D and combined it Master Aces song "The Music Man" vocal sample saying Man to create the hook that's why the other Wu Members called him The Hook Master lol
@@BKLYN_TZU It certainly is a gift
@@ABoomerReacts A Bloomer React that's the true to take two things that don't necessarily go together and make them work is truly a gift and an incredible talent
What betterr way to start the new year than to listen to my favorite reaction dude ...happy new year pal !!
Thanks, Chico! Happy New Year!
Legitimate classic
OH, AND I TO LOVES ME SOME INSPEKTAH DECK!!! MY FAVORITE WU MEMBER BY FAR.. AND THAT SAYS ALOT..
I'm glad that we both have good taste! Lol
The mayo spreading and falling out is like a surplus of money falling out and Rae being able to "spread" it around more willingly because again money is coming out of everywhere, like the mayo coming out of the sandwich.. ..
This!!!!
Ah! That's good!
Bread is literally a term for money. A Money Spread is a Bankroll. If you have a stack of money, you can spread it out, to show or boast about how much money, you have. Like opening a money clip and counting it.
More Wu-Tang please
For sure. I even created their own playlist.
I love your reactions. You bring a lot of insight, which is lacking on other channels. Great work :)
Thank you! I appreciate that.
Suuu WUUU!!
About time mannn
Happy 2022 man! This song is a certified classic!
Happy 2022 to you, too! This song is getting big love here.
Great 👍🏾 reaction as usual!
Thanks, Travis!
@@ABoomerReacts No problem can’t wait to see the next reaction!
Classic!
Happy New Year man!
One of the best songs ever imo
Happy New Year to you, too!
Congrats on the 2K subs! I'm still waiting for the Q&A video. 😄
I'm shy :)
Yess
🔥🙌
Bread is money he saw the bread and the mayo was spread like spreading the money
👐
These are better than 90% of hip hop.reacts
Thanks! You can be my publicity agent! 😁
The sample is As long as I've got you by the Charmels
WuTangggggg
The updated version for the video is slightly better.
You should check out RZA - The Chase
Thanks for the suggestion, William! I'll add it to my list.
A question that has nothing to do with this video: How do you shave? With a safety razor, a straight razor or a cartridge razor?
A safety razor. I usually shave every other day.
Well in this video you look like you didn't shave for two weeks
@@Confucius202 Really? You think that looks different than any other video I've done?
cant forget bobby if you did you'd feel gypped like a sandwich aint a sandwich without miracle whip
You should check out the music vids on your own time! The imagery is timeless too
I do that when anyone encourages me, too. Should I watch the CREAM video?
@@ABoomerReacts sure, you might go for it, it's pretty simple or you could say standard kind of a street hip hop video from the 90s, nothing fancy but so was the reality shown in their songs
@@ABoomerReacts the video was directed by Ralph McDaniels who back in the days had his Video Music Box tv show, if you're getting more and more interested in hip hop music and culture you might wanna check out the new documentary about him (produced by Nas by the way), its called You're Watching Video Music Box and you can find it on RUclips:

@@devotee187 Thanks, Jack!
@@ABoomerReacts A resounding "Yes"!
dude, you should make videos while high, all the music will hit different. 😂🤣
I've thought about it
Pleass react to Doo Rags by Nas, and some Big L, Mobb Deep and Capone N Noreaga
Doo Rags is already on my request list and I've reacted to Shook Ones Pt II. My reaction to Street Struck posts on Saturday. What's a Capone N Noriega song you recommend?
Sorry haven't seen it yet but I'm checking them out :)
Capone N Noreaga - T.O.N.Y and L.A L.A
@@zarzilla1769 Thanks! I'll add that to my list!
Capone and Noreaga parole violaters or illegal life produced by Havoc from Mobb deep
@@tony9014 Thanks, Tony! I'll add them to my list. You saw that someone requested TONY and LALA? Is that a good one, too?
I think it's time for you to dive into freestyles. (Freestyle doesn't mean made up on the spot, just that everything is in the rappers head and they put it together as they go to the beat (if there is a beat).
Best intro opinions (radio freestyles):
Black Thought on Funk Flex
Royce da 5'9" on LA Leakers
King Los on LA Leakers
Have fun with a mind-blowing 45 minute long video.
Thanks for the suggestions, Blake! I also have Mysonne on my list. Is that good as well? I've seen Harry Mack on YT. He seems to freestyle off the top of his head.
@@ABoomerReacts I'd say you still have so many more important legendary tracks before it's time to dive into artists like Mysonne or Harry Mack, no shade to them but doing the artist's and tracks they would say are their biggest influences will help once you know the building blocks they are standing on.
Black Thought's 10 minute Funk Flex freestyle was an absolute hip-hop clinic, many consider it the best radio freestyle of all time so you have a GOAT level freestyle to compare against when doing all the others.
@@blakeperrydore720 Gotcha, Blake. Thanks for the advice!
If we're talking freestyles I'd have to recommend "A Must See Heltah Skeltah Freestyle" the best one
Why go to freestyles when he doesn't know half the songs they will rap over??? If the artist references and "flips" certain songs and concepts in their "freestyle", and you don't know what's so dope about their relation to song, culture of Hip Hop???
Watch the Documentary...."Of Mics and Men" on Hulu it's all about Wu Tang Clan
I'm afraid to watch that and Tupac: Resurrection because it may ruin some "First Time Hearing" videos for me. So many songs might not get a reaction if I've heard them while watching one of these documentaries.
@@ABoomerReacts I see what you saying, well enjoy some more Wu Tang Clan music! let me recommend....Impossible, Assassination Day, Triumph, Severe Punishment, Da Mystery of Chessboxin', Cold World...just a few favorites
@@raysibley2038 Thanks for the suggestions! Some of them were already on my request list and I added the others.
Here's your sample. Enjoy!

There it is! Thanks, Dan!
@@ABoomerReacts You're welcome. It's always worth checking where samples are from when it comes to Hip Hop. I've been introduced to so many great songs I would probably never have otherwise heard. Enjoying the channel!
@@DustyDigits Thanks, Dan! It doesn't happen very often but I'll recognize a sample on camera, and say what it's from; and I'll get a comment saying "I always wondered what that was from". Dance with Devil comes to mind.
Not the best Hip Hop song, and not even the best Wu Tang Song. I think many people find it special, because it’s Wu Tangs first big hit.
That could be it.
It is one of the best Wu-Tang Clan songs otherwise it wouldn't be a hit.
@@2apocalypsex Yes, ONE OF the best, just not THE best.
