Greetings Gary! 🙂 it's been a minute. As the saying goes.. "Wu-Tang is for the children" 😆
These fine gentlemen all became stars in their own right over the last 30 years with solo albums, acting, etc. ODB sure was fun and the wildest of the bunch.
C.R.E.A.M. is my favorite track and I always feel like Ruthie in Ozark when it comes on in my car lol.
The samples in question you are looking for are.. The Charmels' "As Long As I've Got You", Jimmy Spicer's "Money (Dollar Bill Y'all)" and "Hey Love" The Delfonics.

this was Wu's first album as a group. RZA is the producer and through the years he created some really creative and unforgettable music. I remember he wrote a song called "Chamber of Fear". RZA and Rev William Burk rap on it. It's a hip hop sound but RZA also wrote a live orchestra into the track along with a choir. So creative. There is a video of them making the track. I call RZA the Bach of Hip Hop.

Another good start is “Nas”. Try “I gave you power”, where he tells a story from the vantage point of a Gun

Actually, I never was a big supporter of Hip Hop because of the profanity and what I saw as poor moral messages.
Hi Ren changed that so I have listened to more Rap/Hip Hop in the last year than I ever would have imagined. This is my first Heritage Hip Hop I have ever heard.
Not sure I was a fan. I guess I prefer more drama and stronger positive messages like Dax "To Be A Man" type stuff.🦋
