Good video mate. You may want to rethink your coolant plumbing. The thermostat allows cool water from the radiator to flow in to the block not hot water to flow out. When I did this setup myself I ran the turbo water return into a tee between the greddy plenum and the top radiator hose (similar setup to the stock RB26). This will send hot water from the turbo straight into the hot end of the radiator where as your current setup has it heating cold water coming from your radiator. I found it difficult to find information on this and spent a lot of time on it. Thankfully I no longer need to worry about it as my new turbo isn't water cooled.
Mark Urquhart I’ll have to double check it. I did as much research as I could and found that was what a lot of others did. I may have to redo it. Thanks for the info!
@@DriftMagic No worries mate. Not a lot of info or there but you can see what I'm talking about here if you look at the return running from the turbos to the plenum across the front of the engine under the CAS. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/ff/Nissan_RB26DETT_Engine__-Front_Side.jpg/1280px-Nissan_RB26DETT_Engine-__Front_Side.jpg upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b8/Nissan_RB26DETT_Engine__-Front.jpg/1280px-Nissan_RB26DETT_Engine-__Front.jpg
Mark is correct. You don't want to return hot coolant into where cold coolant from the radiator is going into the engine. Once you've confirmed this with your research... maybe an update video would be a good idea. A lot of folks have watch your video and may plumb it as you mentioned.
Hey mark I’m doing a plazmaman plenum and intake manifold so would it be best to run my turbo water return straight back to the head of the radiator I’m pretty fresh and learning along the way thanks
I'm going down the same path as yourself right now too, This video will help so much man thanks. I'll probably just cheap out and buy the Freddy ffp since it looks relatively nice and save some coin!
Where did you get that adapter from.... also is there any difference in wiring? Can they stock wiring reach the throttle body as it is much further away from the stock position? Does this need a tune fix idling or rough starting?
Hey man I am currently doing this on my 25det r32 and was wondering how you got your parts so clean after you removed them off your old set up? I have tried degreaser and i can’t get the finish you do on your parts?
ryanm604 I don’t know. I just blocked mine off but the iacv has a big and little connection. The big side is 5/8 and the other is smaller(don’t know the size).

Which you never stopped uploading this videos, they really help those who don’t know much about this motors & are looking to do a similar project
Finally found where to put that turbo coolant return! Thank you!
I was just looking for information on the RB25 for my R33 build but I love the vibe of your videos definitely subscribing
Matthew winsor thanks brother!!

Drift Magic what did you end up doing bro
You have no idea how many times i watched this video just to figure out where all my lines are supposed to go lol

that is exactly how i did my hoses for vac, og nissan hoses
Hi brother good job 👍 . These setup is working with company ECU or not? . And there is any problem with idle ?
Nice. This helps me out too. I've got the same manifold for mine.
Heck ya man! Let me know if you have any other Qs!
@@DriftMagic I've just forged the block. When I put the head back on I'll probably be watching your vid again. 😂
did you use the side feed injectors and rail on the manifold?
Really good video dude, just what I needed! Thanks
Didn’t it come with a Greddy sticker?
would this process be about the same for the rb20?
How does your icv work if it’s connected to the manifold after the throttle body?

Dang, you never did finish the build video? Unless you did and I dont know where to find it. I just want to see how you routed the intake!
love your dogs ears!! good looking puppy
good explanation really was just what I needed
thanks from mexico
Oye en mexico tienen carros que tienen este motor?
Also, this RB25 intake, is it different than the RB26 intake manifold?
Solid video man, clean install and clear explinations keep that shit up :o
TriniRogue thanks bro! 🤙🏽
Thank you for this video omg

What do you do with the other open fitting on the iac valve?
It has to vent into the intercooler piping
chris dz did you ever get an answer?
@@Paradoxicalmaniac i wound up just deleting the IACV on my car.. i gave up on it since i couldnt figure it out
what sensors did you use for the coolant temp locations on the manifold? or did you re-tap the locations for the factory sensors ?
(This is richard) speaking of your painting ocd...i remember how picky you sere painting bike frames back in the day 😂😂
Haha what’s up Richard! Yup you already know
so good!
How did you install your stock rails on on your greddy (reps) intake? Im having a hard time lining up the bracket holes
Able to use the stock fuel rail with it?
Yup! I used the stock fuel rail. Had to modify the bracket a little but she fit and ran well
Upvoted for pooch
Use a q45 throttle body gasket for the adapter
Do you have a link for the adapter I need one
hey bro do you have IG ? i have a few question to ask you. by chance do you know the water hose part number ? looking to replace mine ASAP
You forgot one connection to the Iacv. It will idle at 4000 rpm
Where does that main connection go?
ryanm604 I don’t know. I just blocked mine off but the iacv has a big and little connection. The big side is 5/8 and the other is smaller(don’t know the size).
The iacv inlet hose needs to be connected to the intercooler pipe in front of the throttle body
@JustAnother5.3 this video is 3+ years old lol
@DriftMagic I know I was just putting it out there for anyone who is looking at these comments for info lol. Hows the rb doing? Still running strong?
Wow my dog is the fucking same thing but a red nose pit. never had to cut the ears his just stuck right up.
Has anyone installed a R33 RB25DET into a R34 GTT? I'm looking for transmission options.
R34 is a stronger gearbox
Same gearbox
Hi good job
Can you send me your email to communicate with you I have Skylan 1981 GT send pictures of your engine
You have a cat don't you?
