  • Complete diy install for your rb25 s1/s2 or neo using a forward facing (greddy style) intake manifold. This particular manifold is from Npboosted.com. You'll find similar manifold from ISR, Otakagarage and a few others. This video will help you on similar manifolds as well with the focus on the IACV valve which is different on the neo compared to S1/s2. Part 2 will be released on sunday! Apologies in advance for such a long video!

These are probably the nicest “eBay” plenum for the rb25. I’m thinking of using this one as well in the future

I agree for sure, if you do before ordering email them directly and let them know that I sent you over there and hopefully they can hook it up a little!

I have something similar on my RB25 and I’m wondering what you are using for a dipstick and guide tube??

They look nice, but these manifolds are very problematic, and just about the only thing nice about them is the price. They are poorly constructed using weak parts and materials and have little to no quality control during fabrication. One of the major problems is the head/manifold flange gets warped during welding, and if it's not checked and machined, it will cause a great deal of stress on the welds once torqued down. After a little bit of boost is added, they are notorious for cracking right down the weld. If you are able to address this, you are still left with a very poor throttle body that tends to stick and leak from the lack of seals in the throttle butterfly shaft. The hardware included in the kit is some of the worst I've ever seem, so expect to have the allen head bolts strip while torqueing down making it nearly impossible to remove while the engine is installed. For a part that requires a lot of other parts and effort to accommodate it's install, I'd rather choose a higher quality product. I'm not regurgitating information I've heard elsewhere, this is from personal experience and close friends personal experience, dyno runs, etc. I hope you have a "good" one.

Thank you for the info! I’ll be running a q45 maf that I’ve already picked up locally. I’ll also be saving for a replacement once she goes. Hoping i can get a least a year or so of weekend driving from her. Like I mentioned I have personal friends that are currently running them. One in a track car and one in an almost daily lol. And both of them are still on the same manifold with no problems. Also the manifold flange is flat. I have a thick glass table and it sits flush with not even the slightest rock. I’ll run it and put out another video with what I experience

hey man quick question, what did you end up doing for throttle cable? my actual cable isn't long enough for the throttle body. got an S14 cable (longer) but having the same issue, the actual cable isn't long enough

I’m still figuring that part out lol. I can’t remember if it was the maxima throttle body that was longer.
