@@em9214both mahomes and purdy had some of the best performances of their career on top of both defenses giving it their all till the end. Had 2 of the longest Super Bowl kicks ever. Ended in an OT with a walk off TD. Just say you wanna see people catch 70 yard bombs while the defense pats the receivers on the back while you wait for the next Christopher walken commercial.

@@em9214 Unless you're the type that needs a bunch of big plays or lots of scoring, there was nothing "boring" about the game. It was how an NFL game with the top teams should be. Defenses actually showed up and regardless of which team was going to win, they were going to have to "take it" from the other. Those games usually start a little slower and pick up towards the end, just like this one did.

Hi Bill, I totally agree about achieving a bigger sound on drums. I've learned to use the natural resonance of the drum instead of whacking it & choking off the sound as you referred to. Likewise, I apply a similar approach to my golf game!

Mahomes won MVP because he had over 300 yards passing and led the chiefs in rushing. I agree multiple guys on defense could have won it but the 75 yard td drive to win the game is what seals it for Mahomes.

Yeah, Super Bowl parties are more about socializing than watching the game. The best ones are when the bulk of the casual football crowd in congregated in the kitchen with a view of a TV in the living room, and the football fans are in the rec room with the big TV and the beer fridge.

When you have the current MVP on the record stating "I don't like playing against Mahomes," that says a lot. 3 wins, 4 apps, and the only 2 non SB losses have been in OT of the AFC Championship (one of them they didn't even get to touch the ball). The Ravens, Bills, and 49ers players don't have rings in part because of the Chiefs. With Mahomes, the Chiefs are 15-1 in the playoffs when they don't play Tom Brady. Like come on.

Channels like TLC ruining common sense (and yes, there are male counterparts to that as well but i don't watch any of that to begin with), "influencers" selling you all kinds of lies, i don't know, the list goes on and on.
I blame everybody, not just the corporations or the sheep, they're all doing it and making it worse.
Difference is though, normally they're phases, hypes, things people grow out of, but this has been devolving for decades now, it's not funny anymore.
