I will never forget my first time seeing and hearing the monks chant i think i cried for an hour it was so beautiful I have loved Thailand ever since !

Your expression is that you can access the teachings of Buddhism without having to spend a long time studying it. But being able to be filled with joy while making merit to the monks means that you have a bright mind and are ready to accept good things and not be attached to things around you. It's like the Buddha's teaching that there are 4 types of people. It's like 4 types of lotus flowers. Type 1: Lotus flowers that are out of the water. Waiting for the sun's rays to bloom today. Type 2 of lotus: Water-filled lotus. Will bloom tomorrow. Type 3: Lotus that is underwater. Still 3 more days before it blooms. Type 4: Lotus that has just grown from a rhizome in the water. There will still be no danger from turtles and fish. And you are the number 1 lotus. Who is always ready to accept new things and good things for a good life. ❤ Thailand and thai people will be alway your second cosy homeland forever . You are respectful and Thailand and Thai people will alway respect you and Kind to

Adam is a good role model for other Western tourists who want to visit Southeast Asia. He integrates himself with the locals and tries to give back when he can. Thanks so much for uploading this video. I am so glad to come across your video. I am Thai who has been living in overseas for more than 2 decades. Although living abroad, Thailand and Thai people always have a special place in my heart. At the beginning of your VDO, it brought so much tears to my eyes. I once was a monk at Wat Bowon Niwet and still remember clearly what the happiest time I had there and when my parents drove from the other side of Bangkok early in the morning to offer food to me. It’s definitely one of the best customs we have in Thailand demonstrating sacrifice, giving and generosity.
What I miss about Thailand the most is its people. Often we take things for granted and life is best lived in the little things that make us happy. Nowadays many people are too involved in materialistic things.
Now I have found your channel so I know what I have to do when I miss Thailand.
Your work is truly appreciated.
