Thanks Arsen. Silom was my first stay in Bangkok in '89 and is still my "go to" as most recently as August just passed. Much has changed over the years and I'm still discovering parts of Bangkok that have remained hidden. My heart strings are pulled every time I come back and I am, and will always be, forever grateful for Thailand, her people and the joy this part of the world has given me. 🙏
ผมรักกรุงเทพมหานครมาก have tears in my eyes while watching this vlog Arsen, hope be back soon again, watch it twice😊😊thank you and stay safe together 🙏🏼🇹🇭
Yes, Thailand is safe. But better to be aware everything around you. You never know when your guard down something might happen. It is everywhere around the world. ...
Thank you Arsen for your very helpful video! I ve watched almost all of your video and i really enjoy them! My parents also love you that you have Greek subtitles so they can watch with me and understand more about the country i really like! Thank you again and keep it up!!
i stayed at the maxim inn last time i was there , its at 13121 23 Sukhumvit 7/1 Alley, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok its a bit off the main road not quite a splace to go to if you have kids (there some women plying their trade and massage places that offer a little extra service ) but cheap reasonably quet and clean near bts and busses a verry nice cafee there was the green room that often had live bands playing
@@LiveLoveThailand Thank you! What would you say is a great place for someone with quite a lot of spending money to go to in Bangkok? Keep in mind, I will be a solo traveler with no commitments!
Good afternoon Arsen, how are you today? Another true ang great vlog from you. People which travel as tourists or stay in Bangkok , these 3 areas are my favorite too. Have stayed at all of them many times, and yes , Silom is the best .Has evrything you want, need , etc... and Lumpini Park is a gem. I always go there , relax, walk, and is so quite and clean. Have a good day and my best wishes
Good video, very informative. I always stay at Holiday Inn Silom. Great hotel, ideal location for walking to markets etc. Also, only 5 minute walk to Surasak BTS Station. Keep up the good work 👍
i have visited Bangkok in April 2007 and we stayed in sukhumvit area but if given a chance to visit this country again i would choose pratunam area where everything is walking distance.
Great video Arsen. I sit in this Lupinini park also last August, I am curious what kind of grass is it, it looks like leaves, very different than the grass we have in Canada, I guess this one can resist the sun and heat.
Hi how is the weather in Bangkok as I will be travelling in nov 14 I enjoyed watching you video I used to travel a lot to Bangkok before covid always used to stay in silom but this time I will be staying opp stadium and MBK thanks for the information lovely watching you
I just find your channel and It is very informative and useful. I am planning a trip to Thailand in Nov 2024 (Possibly sooner) if I can get better deal. I am also a first time, solo female traveler and I have always wanted to visit Thailand. If ANYONE has any TIPS or RECCOMENDATIONS please drop me a message. Many Thanks. LOve from New Zealand.
Personally, my favorite place to stay is in Ratchthewi, near the BTS. It's near enough that I can walk over to MBK Centre and the Siam chains but also far enough from there that it's not noisy and too lively.
Hey arsen , I stayed at the baiyoke sky hotel last year when I came , I would stay there again, I liked it very much, the views are fantastic , I had a room on the 68th floor , I have visited Silom to check out the market before , loverly place to visit , the nightlife is there if you want to play ,great vlog again buddy,
Nice guide Arsen, i was watching your video before going to Bangkok, and i stayed near Phrom Pong station. Yeah the area you mentioned is good but the food outside the Platinium Mall is expensive compare to other places. And bangkok is safe, so just chill for anyone who wants to go there. I was there 6days 5nights😂
Great video Arsen. I was getting worried that you would only recommend places for shopping - but you didn't disappoint me. I really like Silom (and Sathorn). I always head to Lumpini in the morning for a walk and exercising at one of the outdoor gyms. Surprisingly, Patpong has managed to survive (just) and its night market remains one of the most overpriced in BKK. I have stayed in Baiyoke Sky hotel and it's not expensive - I think I paid $70 for a night. Siam Paragon have two of the best food courts in the city. My favourite place to stay is in Sathorn Soi 1/Soi si Bamphen.
Hello Arsen, After I review several videos, I am confuse about the best area to stay for shopping (near the main malls) in Bangkok. Siam or Pratunam or ??? Thank you again my friend.
I liked the little alleyways off Samsen Road, not too far from Khaosan Road - Soi 4 etc. Seemed quite chill, with small restaurants and a mix of people. Even found a place (Pranakorn) offering aircon rooms for under 400 baht (not many of those in BKK). That was back in 2019 though - things may have changed
Hello Arsen, I booked few nights in Asia Hotel in Bangkok in order to be close to the malls for shopping. Is this hotel near the malls you mentioned in your video ? If not, any idea about hotels around the main malls in Bangkok ? Thank you again my friend.
Brother, you're one of the top RUclipsrs that everyone should follow....I am a new subscriber but I will bring More subscribers to you...I am planning for a family (+ 2 kids about 10) trip in July 2025 for 2 weeks...any recommendations on flights fares and areas....KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sir, ur video are good many many things we can can learn, from u like, how to travel, transportation, night life, which hotel is cheap, budget friendly, which city is crowded, where we should book hotel room for quiet and cool environment not noisy, so this takes much much experience without experience u cannot share so u got good experience about Thailand country, but my little suggestions for u sir, whenever you make travel video so plz provide link of the hotel property so without any problem according to our budget we can book a hotel room .
I'm going to Bangkok next week to celebrate my wife's birthday, I would like your recommendation on which restaurant I can take her to eat and drink while listening to music,Thank you for your attention
"Eat street food instead of fast food"? Most of the street food you and other bloggers show is fast food. Lots of added sugar, fried stuff, Glutamat and white rice - not healthy at all. Fruit juices and those coffee drinks are pure sugar too.

Berkeley Hotel was a good cheap option for staying in Pratunam. Best satay's across the road from the hotel.
