Silom is considered to be CBD (central business district) of Bangkok due to many office buildings in the area for at least 2 decades. As there are many offices, there are thousands of office workers who need to at least eat lunch. Some also eat breakfast and dinner as well. They have 2 options: Office canteen or street food stalls, which are aplenty to cater to all tastes of office workers.
@@kamolhengkiatisak1527 it always was. Sathorn used to be and still is the place where you find most of the foreign embassies, consulates, lots of government bldgs etc. But, of course, also biz bldgs/offices/headquarters are to be found there.
Every time I watch one of your videos, I learn something. I have been to Silom, but only on the Northwest side of the BTS. That area is somewhat sketchy. But the area you showcased looks amazing. Definitely on my list for my next visit.
Agree 100%, Silom a great place to stay, for me the best place in BKK, has everything what u want and need. Thanks for show this beautiful area, stay safe 🙏🏼🇹🇭
Such a wonderful video! I thought that Siom or Sukhumvit are the best places to stay in Bangkok for tourists; I have changed my mind now, I will stay in Silom area. Thanks for your informative video
Good Afternoon Arsen...I hope you well and in the best of erything. What a beautifull vlog once again. I always stay in the Silom area...you are spot on with evrything you said. The Lumpini Park is so clean, quite and beautifull. I always go for walk early in the morning there..In the weekends of course is busy with people walking, cycling..etc...but still superb. Food is great on side streets ,..all the transport available.....Keep on going mate and bring us your best vlogs
You will have a great time. Silom is a perfect blend of old and new! Make sure to visit the morning market (closed around 9am) on Silom Soi 20 when you visit Bangkok.

I used to work in Silom, and lived nearby not far from the Thai Airways office. I can see the appeal. It's greener, has wider tree-lined streets, has ample public transport, but with that comes the higher costs of everything and having to put up with crowds, especially from October through March. I hardly ever go out there now unless I have business to do out there.
My wife and I stayed at "The Inn Sala Daeng" and were very pleased. Mind you it is not the Ritz, but it was clean, quiet, comfy. Walking distance to MRT and BTS.
I'm coming to bangkok on weekdays so I won't be able to see the weekend markets however I'll like to visit the grand palace wat pho wat arun & the iconsiam mbk malls & the mahakanon sky walk. What will a good place to stay so that I can visit these places by ease.
That big LIZARD 😳 at the end of the Vlog. Do they roam freely at the Lumpini park? The Lumpini park is realy beautiful and a kool place to relax. Well as always enjoyed the Vlog😊🙏
I stayed in Huay Khwang and I think it is really personal where you wanna stay in Bangkok. And it is not so difficult to travel trough Bangkok. Nightlife or just enjoying your daily life, i had them both where I stayed. One comment, to visit the park at night, be prepared to become food for the mosquito's 😂

I live in Chiang Mai and visit Bangkok often. I stay in the Ari area, non tourist area but on the Sukumvit BTS line so easy to get around the city.
Reading your comment at a cool Ari cafe. My very first time visiting Ari. Cool area indeed.
Who rides the BTS? Expensive compared to the MRT and too crowded with tank topped foreigners with sweaty armpits.
As a person who lives in most famous city’s in bangkok. I prefer that is true.
Thanks! Like the style of your videos.

Is Silom the 'wall-street' of BKK?
Yes
Such mesh of overhead wires all around the country - such an eyesore 😮
Try to look at other beautiful things, be positive.
