@@johnhibbs6508 Haha hope you are well! Which mini did you have? Coilovers make a big difference. I’ll probably be at Willow Springs on December 28th if you are going with Extreme Speed and SoCal Mini Club
Whats your suspension set up?? Your alignment may be off you kept losing control pretty badly. is it lowered at all or stock height? maybe need a uprated sway bar in rear with some newer tires. I wasnt expecting that result man looks tough to drive especially being manual.
@@ModVlog in the description I list how bad it was, and at the end of the video I mention how I don’t condone running the car with the sketchy setup I had. I had a bad alignment, 1 new tire and 3 cooked ones, and the stiffer rear swaybar on full stiff. The tires didn’t have even grip, I was too chicken to stay on throttle at times which I needed, and between all that it made a very weird driving scenario. It was fun and I met my base goal but I never would recommend someone tracking their car like that. Always fix it right and make sure it’s safe
even though you had a bad track day, that car is pretty badass
@@876SIMSTREAMER Thanks! It was still a blast!
Hi I think I remember you from the Big Bear run. I just got back from SOW today. I just added Bilstein coilovers. Helps a lot.

Yikes the kinematics were all over the place - snap oversteer combined with greasy tires. 😬 Can’t wait to see you come back even stronger. 💪
@@_IMNNO same! The excitement is real!

@ it was definitely still fun the watch !!
Sick setup , same car but auto transmission , do you think that auto can handle r400ts’s torque?
@@winterin78 I would ask RPM but I suspect the factory auto would not survive it. He does offer a trans tune though
I would worry more about the 20k plus in engine work required to properly run the r400ts maybe look at the r300
@@coryburns8330 20k? on an engine build lol you need to find a new mechanic
why paddle shifters if is a manual? Theyre just in the way you can remove them if you want its super easy
@@ModVlog I messed up my manual wheel cleaning, I had an auto one laying around
You turned off traction control?
@@ModVlog always full off including DSC off
@@zevisgarage I would say try it again with traction on see what happens 🤘🏽
@@ModVlog nah I don’t ever run traction on stability on with this car ever. It will hinder you so much, especially on track
