Yes in the other dimension of the present timeline that countinues on with the main game. I'm a little convinced that he is immortal in this dimension since he already passed on in crises core. The timeline where he was froze and he was somehow ported to the present dimension. So no matter how many times he dies in this dimension he will just keep just being ported everywhere; i know it sounds very supernatural to the human eye. I think this is setting his role up for something greater in part 3 . I don't mind supernatural stuff in stories but that is just me it might not be for everyone.
Zack 2 is definitely real also since we see things in his perspective from his world throughout the game. Marlene tells him about saving Aerith and he tells Cloud about saving Aerith. This is obviously pointing towards Aerith 2 in the second reality who is 100% going to join the main crew in part 3 along with Zack 2 the Legend 👍.

Apparently every single deviation from a fixed course creates a parallel world where we see the outcome of said choices. We first see of that at the ending of Remake. When we cross the barrier of Whispers we see our world dublicating. That means our actions have created a separate timeline world where our party never escaped Midgar. Somehow in that timeline Zack survived his death (maybe the White Whispers protected him) and also travelled forward in time. It's obvious Zack is stepping into a world where everything went as in the Remake timeline except that when they were trying to escape Midgar on the Expressway the tornado killed or comatosed most of them. Cloud was nowhere to be seen apparently because once Zack entered that timeline with his Cloud the other Cloud apparently merged with him or something like that. That's why Aerith likes Cloud and Biggs rememberes their time together even though the one Cloud Zack has with him never meet either one of them. That's also the reason Marlene knows this because in that timeline up until the moment the party crossed Destiny's Crossroards both timelines followed the same route (or it was just a single timeline that split itself once we defeated the Whisper Boss.

It is possible that Aerith can tell Marlene about it and then Marlene is like a fortune teller. Even in Advent Children, Marlene can sense Aerith's presence. Same as with Cloud. Both Cloud and Marlene have a power to communicate with a dead Aerith. So it is possible that Aerith made sure Cloud and Marlene is connected to her before Aerith died. That would have to be a reason why only Cloud and Marlene can see Aerith even when Aerith is dead.

This is another timeline where Zack survived. The characters aren't the same as our timeline, but what needed to happen in the storyline up until this point happened. This means that Aerith rescuing Marlene from Seventh Heaven and showing her the future happened here too.
It is proven in Advent Children that both Cloud and Marlene can have a power to communicate with dead Aerith. Cloud is not the only person that have a power to speak to and see Aerith. No matter what timeline you are looking at, it was proven Aerith had made sure Marlene and Cloud can sense her presence even after Aerith is dead. In Advent Children, when Aerith uses her limit break to most likely save Cloud, Marlene can sense Aerith's presence miles away.
Aerith is dead in both timelines. But before dying in the church in the 2nd timeline she gives to Cloud the holy materia for his salvation from Sephiroth and for the salvation of the world.

*SPOILERS* I’m still confused. The flashback Marlene has is from remake where she hugs Aerith and the screen turns like a radio signal for a second (similar to how cloud gets his headache) and then she tells her to keep it a secret.
My question is how the heck did she know the future, she sees cloud try to save Aerith, like how??? Why??
we know aeriths white materia had memories of future events so most likely saw the full event go down even cloud has a vision of her death marlene just saw it further

It is possible that Aerith can tell Marlene about it and then Marlene is like a fortune teller. Even in Advent Children, Marlene can sense Aerith's presence. Same as with Cloud. Both Cloud and Marlene have a power to communicate with a dead Aerith. So it is possible that Aerith made sure Cloud and Marlene is connected to her before Aerith died. That would have to be a reason why only Cloud and Marlene can see Aerith even when Aerith is dead.

This is another timeline where Zack survived.
The characters aren't the same as our timeline, but what needed to happen in the storyline up until this point happened. This means that Aerith rescuing Marlene from Seventh Heaven and showing her the future happened here too.
It is proven in Advent Children that both Cloud and Marlene can have a power to communicate with dead Aerith. Cloud is not the only person that have a power to speak to and see Aerith. No matter what timeline you are looking at, it was proven Aerith had made sure Marlene and Cloud can sense her presence even after Aerith is dead. In Advent Children, when Aerith uses her limit break to most likely save Cloud, Marlene can sense Aerith's presence miles away.
I wish zack & cloud can kill sephiroth before sephiroth can kill aerith again
Aerith is dead in both timelines. But before dying in the church in the 2nd timeline she gives to Cloud the holy materia for his salvation from Sephiroth and for the salvation of the world.

All hints at the end are showing that aerith is still alive in the zack timeline. There are multiple worlds, all have a different stamp. The aerith in the church is not the sleeping aerith, since it's not the same world. Cloud is saving aerith, he was the only one who entered the white portal, the same one the group entered at the end of the remake. That's why cloud is saying (in another timeline), cause only in his perspective there were white canon whispers, "wake up". Cloud saw both events in both worlds, but the group didnt. that's why only he can see her.
My guess is also that sephi wasn't there to kill her in the church. Everytime he wanna kill someone he already has his masamune ready, but in this timeline he doesn't. So maybe there was just a talk. we'll see in p3

I haven’t played the rebirth. But i’m very confused about this alternate timeline. Why does Marlene live with Elmyra in the alternate universe? Since Cloud and the Gang haven’t even met Aerith yet??! This is so confusing.
They met already, all that happens after the explosion, like we saw right at the beginning, so they know aerith even in this timeline. Biggs even saying that he knows cloud. So it's the Biggs we know from the remake-timeline - but he survived and somehow is now in Zacks timeline.
Biggs is death, sephiroth at the end of rebirth tell the truth to cloud.

Yes. Aerith and Cloud's relationship is not a romantic love but a deep and emotional friendship. Cloud's love is Tifa. In Rebirth it is clear that Aerith knows this and even encourages her to move forward.
Aerith's real love was always Zack and her storm is his absence. This becomes clear in the final scene of Advant Children where these two share the stream of life. That is also a relief for Cloud because he is aware of his friend's feelings. The problem is that until now this dimension between Aerith and Zack has not been explored. Part 3 is a good possibility
And the desire for an alive Zack is in detail that few comment on. In one part, Zack tells Aerith in a coma that she was the one who deflected the bullet with the white whispers. Then he caresses her hand and she perceives it from the other reality. How do you explain that?

What the fuck is going on? How does Marlene know this crap? As far as anyone can tell, none of that will happen to this version of the world and these versions of cloud and Aerith haven’t even met. They’ve been in comas the entire time. I understand that this aerith and Marlene probably have met the same way as the versions of them that we know, but she’s talking about shit that hasn’t happed yet to our versions of them, the world with active cloud.
