I just saw it. I never felt the way I did watching a giant monster movie before. This is the best movie I’ve seen in the last 5 years. Toho is showing hollywood how it’s done. 10/10,
Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much. Initial reactions from the States are looking very positive. It looks like viewers are fine with the human-based story because it's written and performed so well.
So true!
From all that I've heard about this film, if ever a Godzilla movie wins an Oscar, it may well be this one.
It's had a great opening weekend in Japan and most critics seem to like it so far. I wonder how successful it'll be when it comes out overseas. I hope it's a big hit.
@@WakizashisTeahouse unfortunately, there are alot of Americans who don't like reading subtitles. I have no problems with subtitles.I personally think that dubbing ruins foreign films.
Oscars are for American 🇺🇸 Films I think.
@@treystephens6166 Not necessarily. The South Korean film, "Parasite" won an Oscar a while back. Foreign movies are considered.
@@BillSilver-kg8hs I think GODZILLA 1985 should have won Best Picture 🏆
Finally a movie worth watching in the theater.
Yes indeed. It was made to be seen on a big screen with a great sound system.
I think it's only right that Japan got to see this first. While I enjoyed the Legendary films Godzilla will also belong to Japan and they understand him best.
I'm really excited to see it!
I'm curious to see how well it does in the international market. I hope you enjoy it.
@@WakizashisTeahouse I'm sure I will 😁
Glad you enjoyed it, I pre-ordered my tickets for the early screening on November 29.
Excellent. I hope you enjoy it too.
Hell yes, I’m gonna preorder mine for the 30th.
I can't wait to see this. I hope Monarch is good as well
Monarch looks like it might be cool.
The film felt like a hybrid of a great Japanese war film and Jaws
That's a great comparison!
Takashi being the VFX artist himself created this masterpiece in just 15$ millions. Same happened with the director of Creator movie. Both achieved marvellous visuals under such low budgets. We need more directors like them.
Yes, the 15 million USD budget is really impressive for this movie. I've heard the Creator is good, I really want to see it.
@@WakizashisTeahousespoiler free alert: it's very inert.
The screenplay is solid, the characters well fleshed out (Washington's performance might be a letdown), and overall production is fantastic.
But it seems to go nowhere. AI themes are underwhelming. Often comes across as pretentious.
Still, more than a one-time watch.
I will admit that I watched a pirated copy. It should look grand on the big screen.
Looking forward to your review. This one was excellent!
Love from India 🇮🇳
@@krishanuA Thanks for the info and for watching! I appreciate it.
@@WakizashisTeahouse no problem. None at all.
This is very basic human civility. Something that we are born with.
To bad the Creator movie has a horrible scrip though.
You are absolutely right! He is fantastic and it’s awesome ! I hope to see the monster movie very soon!😊❤
I hope you enjoy the movie when you see it. I want to watch it again!
It's been many, many years since I last stayed in the cinema after the movie watching the credits, having been blown away by what I saw. Marvel movies don't count as they have no emotional impact, they are just consumables. Last time I remember sitting and listening to the end credit score was with Logan. Hope movies return to being amazing again. I want to get a gut punch and be mesmerized at the same time. Who knows, may this movie will do it for me. I love humanity stories with monsters in it.
Honestly, I don’t care much about Marvel films, I definitely prefer Kaiju films. This new Godzilla movie is dark, serious and tragic like the original, from what I’ve seen from the trailers, this film looks astonishing.
"I love humanity stories with monsters in it." I think you will appreciate this movie.
@@WakizashisTeahouse I truly hope this gets a cinematic release here in South Africa.
Is there a mid credits scene or an after credits scene?
@@ronaldsanders7573 No there isn't.
Excited for this as crazy af ...going for the first day first show
Do it! I'm sure you will have a blast!
Thank you for the review! There's an early viewing fan event on the 29th in the states which is my birthday. I took off work so we can go see it. As a lifelong Godzilla fan, I can't wait to see this one. It looks absolutely incredible.
That's great. I really hope you enjoy it. Only just over a week to go!
Great review. I watched the movie on Saturday night, highly recommend everyone watching this movie. Such a great story and overall really well done! Oscar nomination worthy for sure.
I really want to watch it again. Good to hear that you enjoyed it too.

Great 👍 review,Gray! I haven’t been to the local movie theatre since Guardians 3 back in May! Looking forward to this in December! Recommended reading: Godzilla 1-24 from Marvel Comics. Spring of 1977-Spring of 1979. Marvel reprinted the series in a B&W Essential! Togo Inc copyright owner of Godzilla wasn’t happy because of Marvel didn’t even ask to reprint the original series! Ass typical Marvel! Dark Horse and IDW put out a lot of great stuff! Godzilla goes to Hell 1-4 comes to mind!🎯👋

This movie is incredible! I agree with you that it's the BEST movie of 2023. Just watched your MINUS COLOR review. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! Best movie of 2023!!
I’m a huge fan of Godzilla. I can’t wait to see this movie. It looks amazing.
I hope you enjoy it!
Really looking forward to seeing this in Canada in December. My favorite is still the 1954 film. From what I have heard in the reviews this could be the best Godzilla film ever. Trailers look amazing.
It's close but hard to say for sure. I need to watch a lot more of them. But I really loved this movie.
Here because of Copa Ex Machina. Excellent review🔥Looking forward to this movie when it comes to Canada.
Shout out to Copa! Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy it when it releases over there.
This was the Godzilla Minus One review i wanted to see. I am so excited for the movie release next month.
Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy the movie when you see it.
I can't wait to watch this. Godzilla is a great monster. I hate the American movies trying to "humanise" him all the time and all the other kaiju for that matter, as though Godzilla is fighting for our sake, and the movies then focus on the annoying human characters interfering and saying the most unconvincing things as though all the monsters and destruction is just normal. So this looks like a breath of fresh air, and Japan knows how to make a Godzilla movie better than anyone!
I think you will enjoy it because this movie really portrays Godzilla as a monstrous force of destruction.
I like the american version a lot tbh..its nice to have different flavors of Godzilla between protector / villain..Im excited for Minus One to see his badass destructive side
@@Karl_Drogo55 Yes it's good to have the different versions and takes on the character. I've always enjoyed the 2014 version with Bryan Cranston.
I agree! The American versions are mostly unwatchable.
That's why I was so disappointed with Godzilla 2014. The trailers hyped that movie up as Godzilla being an unstoppable force of nature, the destroyer of worlds, especially the trailer with the Oppenheimer voice-over. Godzilla 2014 was the complete opposite of what was advertised but this new Godzilla movie looks like it's going to deliver.
This film is for everyone!!! I’m going to see again!!!
It's definitely worth a second viewing!
It hadded the perfect blend between human and godzilla in this film, and the human character are awsome, u can feel godzilla in all scenes which is awsome
I agree. I think you need the human story to make the film more entertaining and relatable. That makes the Godzilla scenes more shocking and impressive.
Ta mate...brilliant review, here in the US....1 Dec drop here, i live in the rural "Devonshire"-esque" area, so i prefer VoD....on amazon, i started watching Yamazaki's earlier films, and he has a singularity of vision, that reminds me of Kurosawa.....the vision, not the film CV...hence i'm your newest subscriber, cheers...
Thank you very much for your comment. I hope you get to see it in December. It has made me want to check out Yamazaki's earlier films. I have seen "Always: Sunset on Third Street" and that was a nice and nostalgic movie. "The Eternal Zero" about Japanese fighter pilots looks very good.

I saw this last night with my son and it was awesome! I got on my son’s nerves bec I guessed the two big reveals early and kept whispering to him “oh…I’ll bet…” or “I know what that is about!” And then I had to whisper “aaah I told you! I knew there was…” or bouncing in my seat whispering “I knew it! I knew it!” 😂
Good to hear you enjoyed it. How about your son? Did he enjoy it too? They actually made Godzilla scary in this one!
@@WakizashisTeahouse he loved it!
The CGI is incredible in this film, and it was pulled off with a budget not even less than $15 million USD!!!
Makes you wonder where does the excessive amount of money used in American films are being used for.
Agreed. The writer/director Takashi Yamazaki was in charge of the VFX and has done an amazing job.
I got my ticket for Nov. 29. CANNOT WAIT

I can’t wait!!!!❤❤❤😊😊
It's almost here!

I haven't seen the movie yet but I've listened to a few tracks of the Godzilla Minus One score. Not wanting to spoil myself with original compositions, I only listened to Godzilla Suites 1-3, which were awesome because they were new arrangements of the Akira Ifkube themes.
It's a great soundtrack and needs to be heard in a good quality theater if you can.
Awesome review!
Thanks Zaxx! It's a really good movie.
Thanks for the review! Can't wait til it comes to the States. On a side note, gosh is that actress gorgeous!
You're welcome. I appreciate you watching. Yes she is, isn't she!
Wait a moment! LOL, I saw the movie (in IMAX, AMAZING!) and heard Ginza was being attacked. I didn't realize that was a part of Tokyo. Boy I feel dumb.
No, you're good. There are scenes where we see Gojira in the countryside later, but I think he arrives in Tokyo Bay and makes his way through the city. (Jealous you saw it in IMAX. We don't have one near where I live.)
It wasn't cheap at $21, but what kinda blew my mind was it was a premiere. Even got free posters. But only about 50 people were there. Then 95% left at movie end immediately like their house was on fire. Listening to music score with IMAX sound system during credit role was awesome. Californians are weird. @@WakizashisTeahouse
Glad you enjoyed it despite understanding half of the dialogue haha. Also, what would you say is the estimated screen time for Godzilla? Thank you.
It's hard to say exactly. I would need to see it again. The scenes when he appears vary in time. The attack in Ginza, Tokyo is the longest we see him at one time and it's in daylight. The first time we see him is during a night attack on a small island and it's really impressive and pretty scary.
@@WakizashisTeahouse no estimate tho?? 8 mins? 10? 15?
This movie looks so epic, I’m looking forward to seeing it.
It's a great Godzilla movie and I really want to watch it again!
I haven’t looked forward to a movie in a long time.
And Japan absolutely deserves an early release. 👍🏻.
Unfortunately here in the states, we can’t get a decent movie. The majority of them have some sort of political message that induces vomiting 🤮
Great report Sir….
Thank you for your kind words. I really hope it goes down well in other countries because it's not all action. The human story is a big part of the movie.
Godzilla also has Political Messaging, but the difference between that and modern American slop; is that they NEVER blame any side in 1954, it was very matter of fact and gave us a very dark and horrifying vision.
Marvel films, modern Action flicks, Horror films. They all suffer from being PREACHY, that’s the main problem, preaching to the audience gets you nowhere; and it’s been proven time and time again.
Haven’t been to a theatre in years due to the fact that pompous a-list stars try to tell us how to live in a world they’ve never been exposed to.
This film might just get me to come back, enjoyment for enjoyments sake. No social preaching or transgender king kong trying to convince us he’s a dinosaur. Fingers crossed.
$15 Million!?
Oh they're gonna make a Ton of money off this.
It made half its money back on the opening weekend in Japan. I hope it does well overseas.
The production ie superb. Looking forward to this film.
What is the significance of “Minus One”?
At the end of WW2 Japan is at level zero. Then Godzilla attacks.
I saw it yesterday as well. It was amazing. The opening scene's CGI and the ending feeling a smidge rushed is the only weak points in my opinion.
Good to hear you enjoyed it too. I thought the FX were really impressive, especially considering the budget of the movie.
Godzilla dies or not?

I hope you enjoy it! I recommend watching Shin Godzilla (2016) after you watch Minus One. It's interesting to have the two very different time settings.
What I got from this review: At 6:29 G's saying "doo doo".
Now I have to rewatch this...LOL "if you can, do do that!"
I was in Japan for 10 days this .month. I didn't see 1 ad.
Does anyone know if “Persecution of the masses” (music that played during Shin Godzilla) plays during the movie? I could swear I heard something like it during one of the trailers.
I'm not familiar with that piece sorry. But I'm sure there was music from the original 1954 film.
I'm waiting for it. Have a few weeks to go.
It's great to see so many people excited for this film. I really hope it does well internationally.
I might give this a chance.
I recommend it if you like the Godzilla movies.
All Is 1
Hi! My name is Pierre. My online community knows me as P.A.Finley, AnonameUs, TheUniVerse. I am a 56 year young Black man born and raised in America... Illinois, Michigan and now in California. I introduce myself this way so you can know exactly where I'm coming from with what I am about to say about this movie.
This movie was sooooooooooo good, that I didn't even know what I was watching. That's how good it was. The entire movie was a completely 'different' experience entirely. Can't say the last time I was in a movie theater and found myself at times gripping the handrest as if something was going to happen to ME. The closest movies I can compare it to are the ones this movie gives odes to: Jurassic Park. Jaws. Dunkirk. Star Wars. And of course, the original Godzilla.
To put this into perspective, I was there when Jaws and Star Wars came out. I was a little kid at the time, but this was before PG-Ratings and parents were taking hole families to see movies.
Godzilla Minus 1 is like that. A breath-taking viewing from start to finish. A roller coaster ride of emotions from beginning to end. The writing. The acting. The sound. The action. Superb... all of them. Only a hand full of films can I say made me feel good about being alive. This is 1 of them.
Godzilla Minus 1 shows us the absurdity and extreme consequences of war, throwing a floodlight on a part of our human history we are all uncomfortable viewing and talking about. We have way too many of those. This movie hints in a refreshing and so desperately needed, wished for and desired direction of change.
We here at all things NexA.R.K as well as everything All1llA believe, among other things, that Humanity is 1 human Being. Just as our individual human bodies have billions of moving parts and pieces, so too is it the 1 Human Body. The only difference is, our individual billions of parts and pieces all work together as a unit to do and perform our every wish and will. Humanity has not evolved to that awareness yet, but that awareness is coming. Eventually, we as human beings will function as 1 unit. We got here to this state of technological marvel by way of war, destruction and conflict. Imagine what we could do united as 1.... warp speed, too slow.
By way of watching this movie, twice, the word 'Godzilla' has been on my mind as of late. 'All1llA' simply means 'All is 1 and 1 is All'. I have a license plate that reads 'ALLIZW1' and an email that reads 'alliz1zilla'. You can see my obsession with this idea. 'All1llA' and 'alliz1zilla' are words called 'palindromes' - words pronounced the same way forwards or backwards, or what I like to call 'butterfly/mirror' images. Using this imagery in partial reverse with the word Godzilla, we have 'All Iz God'. Taking it a step further, 'All Iz God and God Iz All' Just saying.
I will close with this. I think the main connection this movie has with me and the audience is that, even the worst of us, the coward of us can sometimes redeem ourselves and become the hero who saves us all. That is a very powerful message. 🤔 Peace and...
1 Is All
Thank you for your deep comment. I'm still thinking about this movie. I went to see the "monochrome" version last weekend and it moved me very deeply again. The first time I watched Godzilla Minus One I was surprised by how emotionally moving the film is. Its simple yet powerful message of IKIRU or LIVE really hit home and woke me up from a middle-aged malaise I’ve been feeling over the last few months. No matter how stacked the odds against you seem, don’t give up. Keep going, keep fighting, do more than just survive; LIVE! This is a monster movie we’re talking about here and it gave me a peak experience in the cinema. Incredible!
I have yet to see this film in theaters.
As a fan who was fascinated by the first Godzilla movie in 1954, I am looking forward to a Godzilla movie in which Godzilla is the main character from beginning to end. I don't want a human drama that forces the audience to cry. I hope that I will actually see this film in the cinema and that I myself will like it this time around.I don't want a human drama that forces the audience to cry.
You might be disappointed then because the human story is the main story.
Lol, so you like 1954 but hate human drama that makes you cry?
Lol, makes sense.
Having a Godzilla movie with only Kaiju and no dialogue would be AWFUL; a glorified fan video if you go that route. Godzilla works best as a Metaphor; and to give that metaphor weight, you kinda need good human drama to make you CARE, like it or not.
@@tokuwriter2872 It seems to me that the interpretation that only Godzilla needs to appear in the film is a particularly malicious interpretation of our intention.
Rather, we are saying that we would like to see a film like the first one, in which the main character is Godzilla, with only the slow and deliberate destruction and slaughter of cities and humans, the gradual terror, and humanity's counterattack against the attack, as long as possible.
We are simply asking that unnecessary episodes and human drama be eliminated as much as possible.
Greate review...i think this movie hit harder if you have ever lived in Japan.
Agreed mate. I think you will appreciate the time setting. It was fascinating seeing how they portrayed post-war Tokyo.

My heart was in my throat in the first scene. Made me scared shirtless for the entire movie. The whole time, I could not understand a single word that was spoken.
That was a great opening scene. When Godzilla was picking the soldiers up by their head and throwing them into the air, just wow!

@@rupman27isback There are no subtitles offered in the Japanese version.
@@WakizashisTeahouse then why even watch it lmao? I would of waited for the subtitle version.
I wonder if the humans are someone you can relate to as a westerner.
Thats always been the Achilles heel of Godzilla films, humans being written very shalow meaning you dont care. Did you feel sad or scared when the big G arrives?
They were good performances by the main cast, emotionally powerful at times. I don't know how it will come across if they do a dubbed version.
@@WakizashisTeahouse I'll probably watch subbed, but I just wanted to know if when people died from Godzilla you were scared for them or cheered on the visual destruction 🤔
@@blaster915 I recommend the subtitled version if you have a choice. I cared about the characters that had been built up well. I wasn't cheering on Godzilla because the scenes of destruction are pretty shocking, especially in Tokyo.

He moves slow but also very fast and explosive.
@evanmaldonado9799 sorry what I meant was he doesn't walk like shin godzilla like a slow robot 😂 does he
Fast in the sea and slow on land. There's a great chase scene in the sea between Godzilla and a fishing boat.
There are various opinions regarding CG and VFX.
Personally, I think that Japanese CG is clearly growing on a low budget. Because I have a small budget, my appreciation of money and the thoughts I put into my work also change. It's not just the bad parts. Even if you complete CG and VFX with a big budget like in Hollywood, if it doesn't sell, you'll be in the red, and even if you have the budget and human resources, you'll be so focused on CG that the human drama in recent Hollywood movies has become thinner. It seems like it does. If Japan makes more monster movies, they might get used to CG. However, realistically, Japan may only be able to compete on the world stage through human dramas and anime.
I think it helped that the writer/director Takashi Yamazaki was in charge of the VFX as well. He has said in interviews that he wanted to wait until the technolgy was good enough before he made a Godzilla movie. But he still keeps the main focus on the human story with the kaiju in the background until it attacks Tokyo.
@@WakizashisTeahouse
Thank you very much!
I don't think there is any VFX artist in Japan who can match Director Yamazaki. On the other hand, even if the CG looks good this time around, if it was directed by Yamazaki, it would be even more disastrous if it were directed by another director, which makes me worry about Japanese movies. I think what is different from Hollywood Godzilla is the fine shaking of the skin and the movement of Godzilla. After all, intense movement costs a lot of money to render. Personally, I would like to see a Japanese version of the Monsterverse.
A perfect copy leaked on torrent last night. It’s fantastic. I kept thinking, why can’t we (The US) make a Godzilla movie like this?
No way! Did it have English subtitles?
@@WakizashisTeahouse it sure does!
Is there a Raymond Burr type character in the movie?
There is no foreign journalist character in the movie.
Having watched Godzilla movies all of my life; from the first movie to Shin Godzilla, I am excited that I will have another chance to see a new take on another Godzilla movie that is closer to the original, than the American monster Spectacles (which are also good save for the tristar version) while now taking advantage of modern CGI technology and techniques.
I'm guessing that this movie is set in, at earliest, the late 1950s or early 1960s what with the mostly western style clothing, and a functional, modern train service. In addition, i am curious as to whether the ships shown in the movie are part of a reviving Japan Maritime Defense Force, OR are they American ships based in Japan before Japan is allowed to have a navy again asfter WW2, I wonder about this because one of the ships looks like a light cruiser or a heavy destroyer like a Fletcher class In the trailer. The scene where a ship fires at Godzilla point blank gives me the impression that the guns are of large caliber, with the ship seeming to sport dual - gun turrets. I am also wondering if the movie will feature air power in the form of straight wing jet fighters such as the USN Panther. If the movie opts for more modern F - 86 sabers, then those will, historically speaking, be owned and operated by US forces based on the Japanese islands as at that time, Japan was not yet allowed an air force. I guess you could say that this new Godzilla movie will tickle TWO of my fancies; my love for Godzilla shows, and my love for military history and trivia. Whatever the case, I will be sorely disappointed if this movie does not come out in Philippine theaters anytime within 2023. I can hardly wait.
It starts in 1945 and covers the next few years. The focus is on a naval response to Godzilla. You get the impression that Japan was unable to offer a military response because of the timeline.
I hope you enjoy it!
Urban areas in Japan were dressed in Western clothing long before the war. Railroads were also well developed. Do you think Japan could have gone to war with the US with such a lagging civilization?
This movie begins around 1945, just before Japan's defeat in World War II.
The scene that follows appears to be from around 1947. Although Tokyo was destroyed by air raids, it was rebuilt surprisingly quickly.
At this point, the Japanese military had been disbanded and the Self-Defense Forces had not yet been established.
Godzilla appears in an era when Tokyo is defenseless.
At this time, there was no air force yet, and aircraft belonged to the navy and army.
At the time, there was a US military GHQ in Tokyo (historical fact), but this movie tries to avoid a military conflict between the Soviet Union and the US.
There are US military bases in post-war Japan, and US troops are in Japan, but they are not dispatched.
Foreign countries return to Japan the heavy cruiser Takao, the destroyer Yukikaze, and three other ships that were commandeered from the Japanese military, but they are at an overwhelming disadvantage against Godzilla.
Historically, these ships are said to be the lucky ships that survived the harsh World War II.
Another secret weapon of the Japanese military will also appear. This is the highlight of this movie.
J'espère qu'il sortira en France aussi 😅
December 1st for France.
i wish godzilla should be put in original ww2 not japan post war 1947 i just wanted to see godzilla vs yamato and other things from imperial japan should have gone fight especially with scene of hirohito
The problem is that it needs to be connected to the atomic bomb
Godzilla VS Yamato sounds cool!
@@spinosaurusstriker Yes, it's a crucial part of the story of Godzilla.
It was ok... Thought the acting was overdone, almost cringey and simple at times. Honestly don't understand the hype at all! 🤷...but the special effects were. good considering the budget.
I loved it, but I'm a sucker for an emotional story that pulls at your heartstrings. And the Japanese are very good at doing that. Plus they made Godzilla scary again.
Terrible way for Godzilla to be defeated though. Great build up and the film shows it wasn’t afraid to kill characters off and then they have the pilot eject out of the plane just in time to single handedly take Godzilla out.
I was a bit disappointed with the "happy ending" with Noriko, but I still loved the movie. It has a pretty dark almost hopeless tone for a long time. The director said he wanted people to have hope at the end of the movie.
Yeah I suppose. Everything was great for me until the last section of the movie just didn’t land for me. I get not being overly bleak for a balanced audience
December 1st is coming sooooo slow lol
One week to go!
It sounds like they FINALLY made a Godzilla movie the way I always wanted it to be. Godzilla was always such an amazing idea for a movie but they would always screw it up with poor script writing and childish content. I always wanted a Godzilla movie that felt real and intense. There have been a few Godzilla movies that came close but I think Minus One will finally be the one that fulfilled my giant monster desire.
I will say however, I'll be a little disappointed if this is just a remake of Godzilla 1954 and they use the same method to kill Godzilla.
This is very intense and the atmosphere is pretty dark. Japan has been reduced to almost zero after the war and then they have to deal with Godzilla's attack. Just remember that it does have a strong focus on building up the human characters.
I doubt Gray even notices this comment. He's bigger than Godzilla now. Whatever.
It's just a glitch in the matrix, Copa.
This movie will have a part 2.
I really hope so!
Shame that it wouldn’t be in the cinema in Asia because “Legal Reasons” and I think I know the reason why. The movie sets right after the WWII which is a nono for China and South Korea as a whole. Plus, quite number of Asia didn’t like WWII Japan. Despite I want to see the movie.
Oh, that's a shame they're not releasing it in Korea or China. I hope you get a chance to see it.

To be honest this godzilla is very photo realistic. More than the monsterverse one.
I really like this new version of Godzilla. It's the best one I've seen from the Japanese films.
@@WakizashisTeahouse yup agreed. Looks very natural too. The only thing that puts me off are the feet of the goji. Too huge for my taste 😅. But that's me.
Yes, those feet are huuuuge!
Thank you for your comment.

Don’t let Hollywood get ahold of it. They’d put a black girl in it, make her bad ass, and single-handedly, dropkick Godzilla with raw Girl Power!!
LOL. Have you watched the first part of the new Monarch TV series?
does he live.
I don't want to spoil the ending.
But I will say there is a strong chance there will be a sequel to this movie.
@@WakizashisTeahouseyay
Is it in English
No, it's in Japanese. I don't know if they are going to release an English dubbed version.
I assume it has big mean that this movie dropped for this ridiculous world , you know like, gozilla (=terrible savage war) reverse to the real world,
I'm proud this movie made by japan which the country has the memories of the war and nuke ,
And i hope people watch this and change their mind to put their guns down,in ukraine also gaza.
Thanks,
From Tokyo Japan
Thanks for your comment. Godzilla is such a dangerous unstoppable force in this movie. Humans must work together to stop him. I would've liked to see Japan and some other countries teaming up to fight Godzilla.
"For once"
Uh... no Godzilla film has ever released theatrically in anywhere else in the world before Japan. What are you talking about?
Godzilla vs Kong released internationally at the end of March 2021, then on July 2nd 2021 in Japan.
The early release just hurts their overall numbers unfortunately
why? it's all added lol. If people wanan see Godzilla.. they'll see it early or later or whnever
So godzilla is not in the movie much
They don't overuse him which I think makes the Godzilla scenes even more impressive when he appears.
It makes no sense that Godzilla hates the Japanese people!!
It isn't personal. Japan was just the first land Godzilla reached. If he's turned right instead of left he would've attacked Hawaii or the US.
Marvel CGI is shotty? Lol. The best in the world but shotty. That’s funny. You must be thinking DCs effects.
"Shoddy." Both DC and Marvel seem to have gotten worse over the last few years. The earlier Marvel movies' CGI looks a lot better in my humble opinion.
Marvel CGI has gone downhill badly in the past few films and TV shows. Embarrassingly so in some cases. It's a case of them forcing their CGI artists to do too much in too short a time period.
Thor: Love and Thunder and She-Hulk both spring to mind as examples.
@@Jamie_Pritchard Agreed. The last Ant Man movie wasn't great either, especially the depiction of MODOK.
@@WakizashisTeahouse Christ... I'd forgotten about that travesty 😂
Absolutely epic...NOT! Why are people going fucking nuts about a slant movie?
The question is... why aren't you? Lmfao
So you prefer "GxK the new trash" right?
Cause it's Godzilla..
@@EdicionesRandom2023 Relax, the director of this movie is a Monsterverse Goji fan. Legendary Godzilla is better let's be honest design wise and powerwise. A force of nature
@@deusmachinima1189 I'd have to disagree on that one, bro. Sorry.
This movie will be awesome. No tooken non Whites.
Sounds boring 😢 if it all about the humanity im good
The human story is a crucial part of this movie.
