yes, 🤔the recognizable Abba style: an attractive mix of pop and disco in a catchy melody that continues to ring in listeners' ears for a long time; such a clean sound in a superb production, then: piano - bass guitar, Frida's leading and Agnetha's backing voice, and -
such a perfect harmony of all that.. these are just some of the details of this masterpiece, but again, all of this is just an external display of everything that gives such a glamorous and apparently optimistic atmosphere to this song, and in fact - it is in contrast with the very serious message that is hidden in a text written in veiled irony
So, Abba has always asked us listeners to try harder in analyzing what they are doing through their songs in their life's mission - they were never a superficial commercial pop band (quite the opposite!) but malicious critics accused them of many things and Abba calmly endured all this, knowing that the true meaning of their work will be understood by those who are most persistent and.. that was enough for them to be calm about the legacy they are leaving in the future to new generations
Unlike for example 'So long' 1974, 'Thats me' 1976, etc. In this poem, the narrator does not openly confront the harsh reality of economic and other inequalities that are unfortunately dominant in society - on the contrary, the narrator only SEEMINGLY surrenders to all this and tries to find his happiness in an easier (dishonest) way: how Frida👩‍🌾 just got into the character perfectly of the gypsy girl with the hat that she interprets here 👌(by the way, Gypsy Girl was the original - working title of this song)
B.t.w, the irony is even more emphasized by the fact that in this video the four of them are driving in a car but as mixed couples: Benny - Agnetha, Bjorn - Frida
In the style of some sophisticated horror classic from maybe the 50s (this is emphasized even more by certain musical elements, such as at 1:59 and the like) Abba encourages us all to think, all through sarcasm and a veiled criticism of duplicity in human relationships.. [I would also emphasize the mysteriousness of that red light 1:31 1:39(by the way, red is most often the color that warns of danger, it can also warn of high temperature, etc.) that appears not only here but in several other of their videos (for example in 'Under attack' is red, but rotationally bright) - I did not maliciously take anything out of the so-called context here (let everyone check it for themselves, if they are interested) and I personally dare to interpret all this as the so-called all-seeing eye from Big Brother, 1948 George Orwell who wants us all under his control, even now I have been accused of being a conspiracy theorist, but the fact is that all those who were (especially) in the entertainment industry tended to devote themselves more moral, honorable life - were terribly persecuted, and Abba in particular was savagely attacked, especially by the US mainstream critics, and Abba in the US never had an equal position compared to some other performers who in their works were oriented towards sex, violence, drugs and similar]
I assume that many pressures (for many of us those are invisible pressures) contributed to the early breakup of Abba and other problems.
And all these are just some details in the analysis of this complex Abba work (and otherwise I wrote a too long text), which only proves the extraordinary genius of Abba... it's no coincidence that they and The Beatles are the two most successful and best-selling artists in history - this only confirms their quality
It's no wonder, because through their works they always managed to "bring down a little bit of heaven" here on earth to mortals, and their art has remained as a testimony of the time in which they created their works, as other great men once did, for example from past times Mozart, etc. - therefore, their work greatly exceeds the then (and current) standards

    First comment here!
Hello , so nice to see you reaction to more ABBA songs
    "Money money money" (1976)
it is a very good song in a different musical style,
cabaret type, set in another era
    "Money money money"
    is the single that followed
    "Dancing Queen"
and reached # 3 in the UK,
#1 in Australia and several European countries.
It is a totally different song from its predecessor
    "Dancing Queen"
    and also from its successor
    "Knowing me knowing you"
This is the versatility of ABBA,
they go from genre to genre,
as well as from success to success
The song lends itself very well
to the brunette Frida's lower voice,
the choruses are sharper in contrast
    (and very catchy)
    The instrumentation is excellent
The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative,
the favourite of their film director Lasse Hällstrom
it shows Them in fashion situations
and also with their famous kimonos
I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs
    a next sugestion could be
    "Knowing me knowing you" (1976/77),
the next single in their career
My best regards to You from
    Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
    South America
