For anyone that can't uninstall the android web view just click on the the 3 dots on chrome and uninstall updates, just did it to mine and it worked

Some of my Google Apps including Google itself stopped working. For Example i want to Google something , and right when i type in a letter the application closed itself. I tried everything but the Problem is still there. And same goes for Amazon Shopping App, i cant even open the App it immiditaly closes itself.
*Edit:* I uninstalled Updates for "Android System Webview" and know everything works fine again.

Here's a minor fix, go to the Playstore and search up System Web View and uninstall the update

When I go to it on the app store nothing pops up on where to uninstall the update. If you could help I would really like that
@@jakejuarez5123 try going to settings, than apps, and wither find system web view or search it up, that's how I found it on my s10 plus
@@dickdrip yea did that but it doesn't let me disable it, it just says to enable it but it doesn't even let me click that either
@@jakejuarez5123 well disabling it isn't going to help, try searching it up in play store and it should look like a grey gear by Google llc, if you need more help we can try sending screenshots on some app
This is happening on all androids right now. Find an app called android webviewer, click the 3 buttons and uninstall updates .you're welcome.

Go to settings type web view click 3 dots in web view then click uninstall updates

@@vladcatoneandonly2678 Go to Google Play store search Android System Webview and uninstall the most recent update installed on your device, this seems to be the issue.

All my default apps like keyboard, clock, calender, calculator, camera etc are getting stopped one by one..that clear data, cache method is not working at all... I also disabled them & enabled them again but still not working...please help
Make sure you backup your data and then possibly perform a factory reset.

it's worth mentioning that the factory data reset will NOT always delete files copied to the phone from a PC via a USB cable.
Has this happened to you? Most likely that would be if they are stored on the Micro SD card as though files won't be deleted.
it's happened on a pixel phone (no SD card), you think the factory reset deletes all data, but you plug the phone into a computer and browse the storage and your spreadsheet is still there, as well as other media in non-default locations...

hi the android auto app was working fine until a few weeks ago and it's not even showing in my apps draw, factory restore the phone(moto g8 plus) but no luck could you help?
my apps was corrupted after trying to remove the new simcard.. because my apps do not load properly for the first time after using DITO sim card i wait for at least 10 minutes thinking that my apps would behave the normal way but nothing happened even after i restarted my phone so i tried to change my simcard where my memory card is also included on the tray.. and right after removing the tray i change my mind to put the tray back to the phone.. trying to revive the apps but still nothing happened..

I've found a solution, you have to uninstall an app called android system webview. Through play store and if you cant disable it go through your settings and go to app. And if you can't find it or if you did find it and can't disable it. Try disabling chrome. I disabled chrome and everything works now.

How do you add "Display Over Other App" feature, when the phone developers have removed this feature to be able to use the function by the phone user.
I need to use this app and it promt me to Allow "display over other apps" upon setting the app up to use it. But my Motorola E20 does not allow me to adjust the permission of "display over other apps" and says "feature not available"

Now, I can't hear the audio notes. I've tried to do what you went over in your video, but I was unsuccessful. Can someone help me? I have a phone called Impulse K1 and when I opened it brought up Japanese or Chinese writings. I couldn't get out of it so I just pressed on random writing. But when it opened everything was gone. I tried to go to the store but it was on forced stop. I used the techniques in this video and even factory reset my phone but nothing changed. Please help.

Brett, I got the unlocked Note 9. This is my 1st unlocked phone, and I went this route to get away from carrier apps. One app I would like to completely get rid of is Facebook. I have it disabled, but I still get notifications that it updated. Can I completely get Facebook off of my phone?
