Mine did, but what about CHROME??? After doing everything, I reabled Chrome, but the apps kept crashing after booting. So I started all over again, and didn't reable Chrome, but it disappeared!!!
i've been awake since 4am, it's now almost 4 pm and have spent the entire day working on this and reading articles, watching videos and nada, zip, nothing helps. i have version 9 and cannot update, install, uninstall, roll back updates etc. so now i guess i have to wade into the dangerous factory reset waters. reading comments it seems you've been very helpful for many people. lucky them.

Thanks Dude NOT LOADING ISSUE !!!!!!!! yesterday I realized my phone has some sort of issues with caching, meaning some apps including chrome couldn't load. The solution is : 1. Find google chrome in your apps and uninstall updates 2. Go to google play and update your google chrome and that's it this solved my problem in loading cache I had also tried restarting my phone and clearing app's cache and data, but they didn't work.
I have Samsung s20 plus. Efter android 12 update. I had a problem. When I restart the telefoon. The telefoon just Freezes, For a year now I have this problem. I spoke to Samsung and couldn't help me. And you my dear brother you solved this problem. Thanks for your great work.
Bravo!!! Bravissimo!!! I have had this bug for weeks now, becoming worse and worse unitl my Android phone (LG V40) was virtually unusable. During the last few day all of the apps I use regularly started to crash at start up. I tried all the fixes on multiple websites and videos. Nothing helped, and I was about to erase everything on my phone to do a factory reset. Until you came along. I followed the instructions you are giving in this video, and finally the issue is resolved. Bravo again! You saved my day, got a thumbs up and a new subscriber. How come everybody is getting it wrong, your recipe being the only one that helps? You seeem to be a magician and I am genuinely puzzled. And I will most certainly tell everybody in my world who has an Android phone to consult your channel if there is an issue with their device. And my next phone might be a Samsung Galaxy just because you have one.

Gosh This tutorial is really true I am struggling with this problem until I saw this video and watched it and it was worth it my apps isn't crashing anymore after doing all the steps and I know why I have this problem it's because I updated my android webview.
I can't even update Web View. It stays on 100% and installing, installing, installing then it gives error. I hate I'm getting the problems that people not getting.
Outstanding mate! I looked at a few of these fix vids and yours is the only one that worked. Mine is a Galaxy s8 and no apps manager just apps. I didn't have android system webview so hit a dead end. I followed your instructions and the three apps that were crashing constantly, are now working. GMail, Barclays and Clash of Clans. You are legend !
@@jessjayne7 No, I am useless and old and this fix was easy even for me. I didn't have to do anything other than install android system webview and then unistall its updates as instructed. I disabled chrome and my phone works perfectly. No pass words and no apps removed.

Still Having Trouble! hi, Ive been trying to install a game I made on Scratch. Converted the sb3 file to a html file, then converted that to an APK file. Downloaded that and installed it. After finally being able to install the app. I ran into this problem of the app always crashing as it loaded. I followed this videos advice and the problem proceeds. Can anyone help???

Thank you very much. This fixed the problem. Android 7 user here. After disabeling chrome in the options I was able to update Android Webview and the apps stopped crashing at start.
Here's a thing.. It still doesn't let me uninstall updates, it shows enabled button but after i press it nothing happens I mean after it says "disabled", but it doesn't save, after I go back and come look again it still shows "enabled" and apps keep crashing. I have looked 10 videos on youtube got no info, can't go on google it doesn't open. Send help

Excellent vid helped alot with my apps randomly closing but there still is an issue I'm having with the only game I play on mobile after 5 mins or so of playing it when I press something it's like what I press or whatever is on screen just repeats itself and I have to keep closing and opening the game consistently just to play

S21 ultra user for the past 3 months and I still have issues connecting to the Android auto app, with every update and every uninstall app and reinstalled apps phone reset and now crashing apps. Thinking it is time for my s21 ultra to go back as a defective device since no update or help is forth coming to solve the issues with connecting to Android auto app with the usb-c cable.
Thanks a lot man it worked, but the down side is you have to keep chrome disabled for apps to work. I had to get another search engine. but other than that it worked, but anyways thanks again!

my playstore even crash. the crash happen only happens to some of my apps. I have tried System Webview there beta and dev. there also one that was not installed. there does not show remove update.I did the reset before it happened. the phone is a Huawei p smart s I am using apk pure
The update works but when i re enable chrome android webview is disabled again and greyed out so cant turn it back on. Only work around ive found is to uninstall all chrome updates and disable auto update of chrome then pages display correctly on my xperia L3 android 8.1 its been broken since early 2021 due to this issue

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't it because of System Webview that you can't block certain Android apps on Duck Duck Go??? Not sure.

DO NOT enable chrome. Mines stated crashing as soon as i did. I don't know the fix for this yet. It's something to do with chrome
