  • Todays video I share an illustration on SE, specifically the initiatory stages that will establish a safe somatic release. Without this foundation, it will be difficult to inhabit your body to sense emotions and physical pains. In the long run, the skills you are building through this leads to a process called pendulation which is the body’s natural restorative rhythm of contraction and expansion, you come to know that suffering will not last forever. That is the focus of this video, how to oscillate and explore various sensations, textures, images and thoughts associated with discomfort that arises.

    *2 Ways to Work With Me:*
    *Option 1: 6-Week In-Body Immersion*
    This is a private introduction to Somatic Healing. Each week, we will engage in a new exercise that will inspire spontaneous expression as you begin to trust the many ways your body wants to move towards harmony. I will guide you through emotional blocks and help you decode signs within symptoms. In our time together, you will acquire numerous somatic techniques, a comprehensive review of each experience, and a lifestyle plan to live in accordance with the laws of the body. This process is to REVITALIZE what was once traumatized - from frozen to sensitized. Coming alive and feeling like home.
    - Structure: 6/90 min sessions (Must be used within 8 weeks)
    This work is for you if you want to learn the mechanics of the body and explore Eastern/Western techniques to heal from trauma.
    *Option 2: 12-Week Private Mentorship*
    This is a 12-week experience that requires you to slow down, feel, and express. I take a holistic, embodied approach to help you create a lifestyle that is purposeful and energetically alive.
    During our time together, you will learn how to navigate the unconscious psyche-soma and cultivate a healthy sexuality. I will introduce you to books and embodiment exercises, and we will create a diet and exercise plan tailored to your mobility and daily responsibilities. I’ve personalized this mentorship to be as insightful and supportive as possible! All of my work draws upon trauma psychology, somatic techniques, and spiritual practices.
    As a self-healing system, respect and compassion are the cornerstones of what makes you feel like ‘home’. Without these two principles, you will have quite a difficult time differentiating from symptoms and will easily fall prey to emotional states. For this reason, there are conditions to inform you if this mentorship is feasible for you.
    Prerequisites: Complete sobriety and no medication. However, if you're willing to transition into sobriety and want extra support, I will honorably work with you. This is non-negotiable when working with trauma. If you cannot do this, it’s okay; it simply means that I am not the right coach for you.
    This mentorship is right for you if you…
    - Can manage 12 weeks of dedicated somatic inner work
    - Want to learn from the body
    - Can say no to drinking/smoking
    - Have 10-14 hours a week for self-care (2 hours per day)
    Full Mentorship Details: This extends over 12 weeks. 1 x 120min weekly meeting (same day & time). I offer support between sessions during open office hours every Friday. This is the optimal time to check in, provide updates, and ask questions. All communication will be through Telegram. I am offline Sunday-Tuesday; these are the days I recharge for the week ahead.

      You are very welcome and I'm glad it helps your practice! Interestingly, I've found in my practice and with clients there's a natural mother energy that takes over once the somatic release is complete, you innately begin to self-sooth. It's quiet beautiful.

    I did it. 5min which felt like 15. It was almost like a new experience for me although I have done a lot of somatic practices. I love your simple, organic approach, thank you, you've added something new to my self-healing practices 💚

      The body seems to disorganize time when it’s the doorway to healing haha I very much know what you’re saying. I’m glad you tried this practice. The skills you can build with this are so great as well! Specifically how you move through the pains and pleasures of life - fear and resistance + courage and acceptance 🌊

    Interesting. This is the same thing as kriyas in emotional work/shadow work in consciousness or spiritual work, which is done to embody and integrate clarity of one's true nature. Sometimes also it is said Kundalini is at work when there is much energetics moving through the body. But the terms and context are so irrelevant! The connection to Self and not ego is the key. I think more and more as a society we can connect all the contexts for a more universal, secular paradigm of healing. Thank you.

      Look into the practice and see if it's right for you. Ptsd takes time usually with a lifestyle change and a long-term coaching/therapy container for support.

      2:37 tells you what to look for: Tremors, shaking, facial expressions, gestures & switching positions. 4:40 is if you want to cut the entire video and watch how the body processes trauma.
      Healing is in the nuanced movements as much as it's in expressive ones. Some exercises look cathartic as they renegotiate chronic trauma while others look rhythmic and subtle. This is only 3-9 building blocks for SE and the objective is Pendulation.
      This video is maybe less entertaining as it is insightful, it's for you to observe the involuntary response, grab a cup of tea and watch with curiosity.

      You are watching a healing process, done through a method called somatic experiencing (as far as I understand). This is meant to release trauma.
