I was wondering how print quality would differ at the different Printful centers worldwide. This video's clearly answered the question and it really gives me confidence. Thank you!!

Thank you Elizabete and Sergejs. Very informative video. Sergejs, we met briefly in your last visit to Charlotte, North Carolina. As a designer, one thing about t-shirt designing that I would find very useful is a detailed explanation of the different styles of t-shirts, and the types of fabrics used on each. For example you mention triblend fabrics in this video. I'm sure there are a lot of new designers that have no idea what that means. My second request is harder to deliver. The exact color of the fabric is very important to know when designing. There are alot of choices with Printful. For example I recently saw a shirt called "sand" printed with a light blue, light purple, and black that was an amazing color match to the exact color of the "sand" color of shirt. The colors chosen for the design would not have worked on any other shirt. But on that exact off-white, very light tan color it was a perfect match. This is a huge request, but imagine if every t-shirt style and color option was laid flat on light table with perfect lighting, then photographed at 22 megapixels. For a desgner, that would be the next best thing to having a physical copy of ever shirt there in their design studio. And yes, that is a very expensive request ; ) but only the most awesome print on demand company on the planet would offer such awesome design reference materials.

I had a customer have an allergic reaction to their shirt last week. They got the shirt, noticed the smell so they washed the shirt. Put it on and their skin got very red and they had a burning sensation. I have been trying to find answers to this and have tracked it down to the chemicals in the fixation agent. THIS IS VERY BAD! We can not have customers breaking out in allergic reactions from wearing our products.

I received my first "test" order and for my surprise, the colors were dull and the first thing I thought was: "it might've come out better if it had a white undercoat" but I see that actually that's how it is done. Not sure now what could have been the reason for dull colors.

Hey, there! A reason that would cause prints to come out duller than expected is the incorrectly prepared print file. We always suggest our customers create print files in the sRGB color profile, specifically sRGB IEC61966-2.1 as it will ensure the best possible accuracy. You can learn more about creating the perfect DTG file here ➡️ www.printful.com/creating-dtg-file

Pay special attention starting at 6:50. The guy clearly reviews that the print is duller in color with the white shirt, and that's ok. Applying a white under layer is still unnecessary. More importantly, he goes on to point out cracking in the print but that they did a great job printing the design! Really? Is cracking in the print great? So to Printful, duller colors are okay. Cracking is okay. Look at the small holes in the print with up close shots on this great print job. Mind that they've never washed the garment, so it's brand new and it has yet to bend and move. Shipping alone would make the print condition worse. Would this garment pass a scratch test (scratching at the design with a finger nail)? My samples did not. Imagine what the design will look like after just one wash. I thought my experience was a one off. Disappointingly, that wasn't the case. 3 Shirts and 1 Hoodie of different styles and material had very visible cracking and holes upon arrival. The first shirt I ordered 7 months ago, on black recycled fabric. At first I thought it looked great! You can see it in my videos on this channel. The bluish turquoise circle on the back of the shirt is a predesigned graphic Printful offered. I just put designs within that circle. That circle graphic is flaking so bad, I'm not sure if I should wear it since it's illegible and bad representation of our brands. With the hoodie, I can see the lack of quality in a full body picture my customer sent me. Do your research, they only expect DTG print to last 45-50 washes using the care described in this video. That might be standard but I'm still extremely disappointed with Printful. I did not reach out to customer service because when I made a case with them about their all over print products. They deemed that the fabric pilling upon first wear, white in the backing and at seams coming through the design after one wash was normal and expected, regular wear and tear. After wearing once and one wash. All dark colors look speckled with white lint threads all throughout that get worse when lint rolled. The shirt looked extremely faded after 4 washes. I've given Printful more chances than customers give most businesses. Why do I keep trying with them? They allow for branding on products and mainly they offer eco-conscious products. But how eco-conscious is a garment that doesn't last? I understand abs accept that I cannot expect the design to last the whole life time of the garment, but after 1-10 washes? Come on Printful. Raise the bar in your standards. You all charge too much to have your standards soooo low. I watched this video hoping that my experience was unusual. If anything the video proved that quality control standards are low. What's been your experience? What do you all suggest I do? I'll link the video to the recycled shirt in a reply comment.

In my comment, I'm referring to the teal looking circle on the back of the shirt (inside it reads "Surrounded By Penguins Beach Clean Up Crew"). I'm happy to do a video or short of some of the other shirts I purchased.
But understand I am not a completely disgruntled client. That's what makes it difficult. I love their shoes. They even lace the laces perfectly! Embroidering 8.5/10 quality (hats and moisture wicking Champion jacket). Embroidery Customer Service 10/10. They even put a hold on printing if they have any concerns. The email correspondence is fast and I'm very happy with the embroidery team that has handled my products. Most of the quality of the blank products are 8/10 or above.
I'm concerned about integrating other print on demand companies on our site with Printful through Woocommerce. But I might have to find a way to do that, if that's possible? Anyone have experience integrating two or more print on demand service through Woocommerce and Wordpress?

Hey, thanks for your feedback! Sorry to hear that your experience with our DTG printed items hasn't been satisfactory. The white underbase is necessary in order for colors to appear on colorful or dark garments. Regarding the texture - DTG printing is like printing on paper, but on clothing. The ink soaks into the fibers of the garment, so it mimics the texture of the fabric too. If you're unhappy with the received products, please report this to our support team! That way, we can find out what happened and provide a solution when appropriate. The email is support@printful.com.
