This Finnish metal band WINTERSUN blows your mind with this 14 min masterpiece. "Time" not only meets expectations, it confidently and thoroughly shatters them. Powerful riffs, triumphant orchestrations, grandiose choruses and heart-wrenching vocals. This live rehearsal was done at one take. Singer/composer/guitarist JARI is a true genious. He also played all the backing tracks himself.
Wintersun has some really good stuff and this is my favorite from them. Dave wondered what kind of guitar it was and I believe he’s using an Alien Soundworks guitar. I love it when singers who use harsh vocals also show what great voices they have with their clean vocals. Also, it’s Jukka Tolonen (toe-low-nin). Great song choice and great reaction from Dave. I know it’s a long song, but it was worth it. Thanks as always guys.
