This it the second track and the first in the store because track 1 is Dust To Dust and serves as a prologue. This song was wrote primarily by Dany before the album was an idea but fit perfectly. No official movies or anything from this album sadly. It could be adapted to so many things.

Dany is good here but her voice is so much better now that I actually don't care for this live version. She has a much better higher range (she's struggling to teach the highest notes here) and the color and tambre of her voice is much more warm and dynamic now. I'm not knocking this version at all, but when I listen to this right after recent performances I think "whoa, Dany is using a harder time singing today. Did she strain her vocal chords?". Yes - that's how much she's improved after taking a lot of vocal lessons during the pandemic

For a little context, this was written during the "War on Terror"

The concept for the album came from Pau. She had a basic idea which her sisters helped turn into a work of genius, in my opinion. Crimson Queen was a song Dany was writing to help her learn how to produce, and they realised it could fit into the narrative of the concept. Great reaction, thank you. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥

This is a Danny song she wrote this one not even for this album. It was just a song that she had written to learn how to produce music.

Their best studio recording! That said, still better live, cause, well...Dany, Pau and Ale...duh 🙄. U2 had this nailed down early on. The band/fan connection. You have to ACTUALLY love your people. These guys have that. I can't begin to describe how rarified that is. A handful of artists. Ever. It's been a generation since music thrilled me. They're amazing.

Yeah i really like the sci fi element of muse. At one point i came to the conclusion that muse is a conspiracy of its own. Made sense at the time, i guess its because they seem so subversive against the system but if you really think about it, aren't they really just another part of it? A total contradiction.

Easily (pun intended) a top 5 if not top 1 song of theirs. The build up is stunning. And Matt's vocals...dear God.

Love this song. Gets you pumped and a great opener for their best album. Also take note modern music, you don't need to use the same boring song structure. Look at this song, sounds great and doesn't even have a chorus. It's verse-bridge-verse, done.

Good to be Free will always be my favourite b-side, but this is tremendous. Everything Noel wrote at this point was absolutely magic.

I prefer Noel's version. But i am one of those rare people who prefer Noels vocals on most things. I always thought Liams voice was too nasally. Unless it was like liam singing things between 1991 - 1993 ??maybe early 1994 ish. Where his voice was strong and not nasally at all. After that you can really hear that eeeee sound in his voice and then its hit or miss on whether he sounds good.

Really cool guitar solo. That crazy action with the right hand was unique. I think it was Beavis (or was it Butthead?) who said “if I could move my hand that fast I’d never leave the house.” 🤷🏼‍♂️. Thanks guys.

I live outside Chicago and have caught their shows often when they're back home here in town. They are a really solid live band, and the 'volume' often moves quite a bit higher than this song. Their appearances at Austin City Limits and on Dave Letterman are fun to watch, as are Jeff Tweedy's solo gigs. Thanks for this!
