Really cool comment and I can hope to someday give you a green curry cheers right here in northern Thailand :-) awesome, stay safe, thanks for the good words
Glad you enjoyed it Scott, always the good things man, I am blessed, we are blessed indeed. Thanks bro, you never miss a video - THAT is amazing, thanks a ton Scott.
So nice of you Graham, yes I have enjoyed having her, and MANY more to come as well! Thanks a lot for the good words today - glad you enjoyed this one!
Good Morning & Happy Ash Wednesday (here anyway) Joel & Li. Hope you are both well. I'm really looking forward to this video. Take good care & may God Bless !
Thank you! You too Ron, really appreciate you taking the time to write on pretty much every video :). Hope you do have some time to enjoy this one, its quite a relaxing video if I do say so. Lately I think theyve been more fast paced (Funny when people tell me "get to the food! Stop talking so much!" haha)... yeah, this one is just really a video of a lunchtime enjoyed at a local restaurant... and thats it!
SB!! Really dig that comment because this was with the old camera!! So yes, it does mean I am improving a little, thats very cool to hear. Thanks for watching!
Iconic Restaurant at 4 decades!!!! Plachon curry!! very inland and of ricefield culture.... never seen Sai Ua that cute!!!!who wants to cook at home ...?at those prices...
Eugenio!!! Super cool energy and your comments as always, I am smiling happy that you appreciate also the cute and tasty northern sausage. So great.… Hope you’re having a great day today man, thanks for a cool comment
Whoaaa Gatoj!!!! I appreciate that as much as anything, I really appreciate having you here, very happy to read this message today. Where are you right now? Hope all is going well today
Love all this food!!! Esp the dessert! Grassjelly and Pandan!? Nom nom. I still can't get over how much I enjoy watching videos of you and Li's food videos! Joel, am so impressed at your manners and language skills. Great homage and respect to the culture that you live in! Have a beautiful day!
Wow, and I can’t get over how you always pour so much love into all these comments. You are one of the best :-) thank you, thank you for this, really enjoy and appreciate how you take the time to respond to all of these. I’m sure you are a bright light during your workday to, especially in your job, definitely people needing to feed off of your beautiful energy
@@JoelsTastyRide you and Li deserve so much love and respect! I think you two are so fabulous, and I so appreciate the dedication you both have to making your videos! I truly truly wish you an abundance of success! So so deserving! We are rooting for you!!!♥️♥️
Love Grass Jelly, now have the back story - Thanks to Li! And good idea for future videos Joel! Almost need several tutorial videos of how to order in these smaller family pkaces, as it seems to appear not all are on menu but then have to read Thai. I guess I mean like more standard / main condiments or options of preparation... Have a great day! ❤️💛💚
That’s awesome tutorial videos, Chris, I like it :-) I do have another video titled “how to order Thai food” actually, I made it with one of my best Thai friends
OK and in general, Mark my friend Mark Wiens actually has a series of books, more than one :-) he has put so much time into those, complete guides for people traveling here who want to eat like Thai but do not speak Thai.
@@JoelsTastyRide And the issue with “books” is to get the pronounciation right... but then there is an idea: Have a book go along with a video for members...wouldnt have to be too overboard...one for ordering...another for shopping (I think where I got hooked with you is a video awhile back and you were chatting in a market) and, maybe not so critical any longer, the bank...
Yoooo!:):):) I think my comment may have been deleted :-) big cheers for the egg in for the green curry, hope you’re having a beautiful day today :-) all the best, see you again tomorrow I hope :-)
Joel is awkward but no denying he is one of the most wholesome person, very innocent and pure hearted.. Keep it up Joel and hope you have a blessed day wish you nothing but more happiness.
That’s an awesome message I appreciate it :-) I am smiling, if everyone was the same then life would be a very boring place so thank you for joining and I hope you have a blast with all of these awesome people meals and videos :-)
Wow Marietta, great to have you, really cool energy in your kind words and comments today. Thanks for taking the time to write :-) have a great day today
Amazing video as always. Such a generation since many years back. You always make me miss Thailand even more. You shoot it as is...Reflect the culture (good side) on the video with same respect from you.
@@JoelsTastyRide Hello Joel! Thank you for your reply. As soon as the 2 weeks quarantine period eases to let's say 3-5 days and 2 pcr tests for instance, we are on our way. 2 weeks is too long from my annual leave using it on quarantine 😀 in the worst case, I take the whole annual leave at once 2 weeks quarantine +2 weeks joy. 😉 but the latter option only applies towards the second half of the year.
2nd breakfast.....always my favorite! What delicious looking, yummy food for a very affordable price. I’m sure all those recipes were handed down through the generations. I don’t think that practice occurs much in the US. I love anything curry. Hope you and Li are doing well and staying healthy! Have a great week 😍
Cheeeeers to that hahah Hi Booswanger "I love anything curry," that is a keeper of a tag line for some future video, haha :). amazing!!!!! Yes, places like this are really THE kind of thing I want to find always, whether on the road or at home. These are happy days for sure, but they also make me kinda miss the days when this was "the norm" when out on a trip with Mark. Youre awesome, thanks for taking time to share some words as always, be well, be blessed :). speak again soon, hope to see you Sunday! (Saturday night :) )
Jackpot! Wow, you always cheer for these videos with incredible enthusiasm :-) I always appreciate that. I hope all is going well today Tiare, Don’t forget, you will make more people than just myself smile if you have some time to hang out with us on Sunday morning :-) and have a great day today, much love to you and hugs to your kids as well

Oh man, you really make me want to go back to Chiang Mai again, Thanks! Good one Joel, really love to watch your video along while eating my BF. Keep it up sir!

Hiya Joel and Li, what can I say more than always a pleasure when you post. I prayed for you pair that God will bless your union this morning on my daily run. To the SAT live wonderful supportive people.....have a good one until this coming SAT.
Max!!!! You are amazing. I am just taking a moment to consider that, to appreciate that. Thank you :-) yes I am looking forward as always to your Saturday evening my Sunday morning, thank you as always for the continued and beautiful words of motivation.
(Oh I just read that again, about Thai, man I have declined quite a bit in Thai speaking skills :). I dont use Thai very much these days unfortunately...)
Flordeliza, wow - I think you have given me at least it doesn’t comments on video is just this week alone, the support is amazing, really passionate thank you so much for this
Thanks for sharing!! SOrnram, I am not on the lookout but if you do tell me where exactly, I would be happy to stop by (if youre curious about anything)
@@JoelsTastyRide thanks for your reply. Omg, that would be freaking awesome! But if you guys can't find it that's ok too. I think the place is called Orchid Jade Factory. I want to buy a jade necklace and bangles from there if not too expensive and good quality. Thanks a bunch
N Ram!!! I didn’t see it in real life of course, but editing the video yesterday I just started cracking up! Such perfect timing, could not have even planned it any better that was so great right? I’m happy you like that
my mom makes the egg dish. but we call it tom kem. i think thats how you speel it. roughly translate to salty soup. i think. but love the all the food. thanks for sharing.
Nooo way!! Very happy to hear about what must be great childhood memories for you then ha ha :-) no this is not Tom Kem, this is a pretty normal dish actually, for restaurants of the style it’s may be surprising if they don’t have this dish (ไข่พะโล้)
Looks so delicious Joel! Their hospitality is so awesome! I’m glad there was some food left for you and Li. Oh and I love how you tell us the name of the foods.
So good! and thank you Vonn, I did try this time to think about the pace, gotta have energy to focus throughout like that (Li makes it SO MUCH easier to make videos, as opposed to doing it on my own :) )
Thats awesome Tee Jay, thank you! I did work hard, but also, God definitely put it in my heart to have the motivation to DO that work so - thank you for your kind words!
Saibaidee Joel and Li! This must be a throwback video since you have the bun. Haha. That spread sure beats any value meal in the states. I've never heard of Kai Po Lo until now but the Laos version is Tom Khem. So awesome to learn about that and Grass Jelly! Take care you two!
Ohhhhh man! Thank you Sonexay bro, thats awesome, there was another person saying Tom Kem, I corrected them... wow, cool so in Laos there IS a version, with a different name! Interesting! Ok, Khem is salty tho? Because the main flavors of this would be sweet, then umami/rich, and THEN salty, definitely not salt as the main flavor at all. The grass jelly story was a great bonus right?! Haha, Li has an unbelievable memory, shes like a kid still at age 27. Amazing
@@JoelsTastyRide yes Khem does mean salty. I did not come up with the name of the dish, I just eat it. Haha. The salty component comes from fish sauce and soy sauce. Maybe Tom Wan was taken or someone didn't like the name because it sounds like a desert? Definitely an unsolved mystery. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Matt duuuuude haha 10 is a solid order indeed!! Hope you’re having a great day today man, saw that snapshot of your beard icicle, absolutely stunning :-) ha ha Ha ha ha
Hi Li and Joel....Amazing prices; so it dares us to discover more local places. All benefits of the delicious ancestral Chinese kitchen and medicinal plants/herbs. Have a great day....
Francis!! Another great Comet showing your wonderful experience with food over all the years, really cool to have you as a supporter :-) and I think you do know Chiang Mai as well right? I think you’ve been here before?
@@JoelsTastyRide Hi Li and Joel...!! We know beter south Thailand, where we have friends of Chinese descends. They grow herbs, plants, roots,... they use it as much in cooking as medicinal preparations (not at substitute but to balance their health). Yes, I'm a big supporter ! -) ... as much as my wife!
Ahh, everything looked soooo good!! Dying here!! 🤤😍 And love the idea; would love to see more vids on delicious, budget eats 💗 The sausages reminded me of another I'm really into, Isaan sausage! Have you guys ever made it? I'm curious about trying, but scared to leave it to actually ferment at room temp, he he 😅 Also love that grass jelly; thank you Li for that great story! 💖🌞💖
Yoooo MissIceCreamCoffeeeeee :) Always great to see our crew hanging out in the comments! YO! :) Well, the Isaan sausage! Great question. A few different timings for making it, I have seen the combination of sun-drying, of frying, of salting-then-drying-then-deep-frying, of course theres a traditional way to make it but (in my opinion) the REAL traditional way for many of these involves at least one step of (like you say) nervousness of spoilage. Im sure there are recipes online, the one we eat regularly is sun-dried jerky, which is then deep fried. Its called Neua Daed Deow.
I love this type of family type down-to-earth restaurant in local community. Easy going and delicious. Healthy too...with lots of veggie with wood-ear mushroom for less than a quarter ($US).
Hi broccoli found :-) always love your name. Yes these are happy feel good restaurants like I said, it really was a cool day, thanks so much for coming to join in the good healthy eating energy, cool you know the wood ear mushroom :-)
@@JoelsTastyRide Of course I know about wood ear mushroom. I even know about grass jelly and its medicinal benefit. I really like how your GF Lee telling a story during dessert time. It's like double sweetness to finish a meal. Please tell more interesting stories behind some food recipes if you get to find out :-)
Hi S I! This is probably available in cans, youre right. Maybe all over the world! I love how this family makes it though, to me this is why I order dessert today (even though its not a normal thing in some of these videos, as you might see) Awesome to have you! Have a great day!
All the food looks amazing as usual Joel! Great idea catering to a more diverse topic. It was interesting to know and will be when you do more videos on cheaper less known places, as it will enable us to add them to the map bucketlist. Thanks again and stay safe and classy as always everyone! -Brett :)
Yo-yo yo Brett :-) great to see you again, good comments as always. These are the kind of places that I am always on the lookout for, but the curse of RUclips is that I worry they won’t be as interesting… You know? But yeah these are the kind of places that I always go to on my own, because I know that the reception is genuine, the food is real, and there will be no presuppositions… It’s just a real normal Thailand situation :-) the best!! So thank you for the real motivation to do more like this, definitely can do, and Will do my friend. Enjoy your day today
Joel and Li, another great video with Amazing looking food! That green curry and the egg dish made my mouth water. I was surprised though, it didn’t seem like nearly as much food as you would typically order. Was it because it was second breakfast, or because they were running low? Wouldn’t want you to go hungry my friends 😂
haha CARLI! Hey I still had 5 plates!! :) :) but ok, youre right, for videos there is always the tendency to make the table full, no matter the table size. The last time we ate here together, I think it was to write an article for Marks website, and I think I ordered 9 dishes for that one... something more like the 'usual' order maybe?? But no, I got one of everything, it was just because I was late today!
Sooyeon!!!!!!! YES :) Amazing message today :-) how are you, where are you? Hope you’re having a great day today, really cool message to get. Thank you for writing!!
Hiiii Vanida!! Boat noodle to her would be amazing you are right but I think I am saving just a few of these for Bangkok :-) if someday… Great to have you back again
Welcome back SomeoneBright, and I really hope you can visit again (come back to stay? When were you able to be here last?). I hope these do remind you of all the best parts, all the parts worth looking forward to!
Another Awesome Vlogg ... enjoyed it Joe n Li I really liked the jelly.. Sooo good to see You both... May GOD bless You both n families Always. Much Love n prayers
Hi Joel. Are most Thai dishes served cold? Sometimes when we use to buy from food courts they were always cold. I noticed she heated up the noodles but was wondering about the green curry . :)
Hi Beezely! Yep, I was happily surprised with the green curry as you could see in the video, and then the noodles I saw her do it so, but yeah that was cool :) I do love KhaoRaadGaeng but yes its just the style - its really hard to re-warm them.... BUT, its not a big deal here anyways (I only care myself for health reasons, not actually for the taste!)
Binh!! Great to see you as always man, hope you’re having a wonderful time, hope you are looking forward with me to living back in the north and exploring all the while :-) have a blessed day
Good morningggggg AND amazing job as always, getting here so soon! Now I realize why I always see yourself, Lady Chaos, and Florencia at the end! Its because you always comment FIRST! :) :)
Love it :-) yes a delicious comfort meal for a bargain price, exactly this kind of restaurant! And so cool to be able to hang out with the family as well
Our pleasure! and my pleasure... amazing support Connie thank you! Well, its about the quantity really, if they made them individually, it would be about double this price. Still not 'expensive,' but definitely not a price that every single person here could easily afford every day for lunch so - so this KhaoRaadGaeng is the normal way to have food at a lunch/breakfast place like this!
The Black dessert is called Grass Jelly here in Canada and we normally have it served with in a glass of Soya milk..the first dessert we had in Chiang Mai decades ago was a steamed soya dessert with fresh Ginger sauce..I can still remember that moment...sooooo good
Billy!! Super cool comment man, awesome that you like this and SO awesome that you are recommending something like this to me! Gotta try it! Ok, I will visit this place again soon, soya milk in hand :). haha amazing. have a great day!
Actually, during my first trip to Thailand, we decided to ride the overnight bus from BKK to Chiangmai .. watching there tiny tv shows during the journey in complete darkness ..only to be woken up to have Jook in an outside road stand .. funny stuff then being herded back into the bus.. arriving the next morning .. being from NA..it was cold back home but here it was something like 30c so I’m in a Tanktop & shirts while the locals were in thick winter jackets on a construction site .. we laughed at them while they laughed back at us🤣. Then the steamed soya dessert and Ginger sauce😋
Alway’s good time having lunch with you watching those beautiful image. I love when you put the translation thaï/English. In phonetic could you write what you are saying (cob or cop, copun cob copun my cop...what does that mean ? Is it cob or cop ? Thank you to both of you for that good moment. ❤️✌🏼🇨🇦
Yeeeeeees!!!:) Jean Louis!! Great to see you really cool, hope you’re having a wonderful day today, hope you are staying warm but keeping your beautiful smile at all times. Really nice to see you enjoying this video. I am impressed that you are wanting to learn some Thai, of course all languages are valuable but this is a very far away language is all I am saying :-) nice! Yes I can do this And for today, Kawp Koon Kap is “Thank You” :) Chok Dee is “Good Luck”
Kap Kun kop ( spelled phonetically) is thank you for men. Kap Kun kaa is said when you are female. Both done with the hand gesture which I believe is a sign for blessings and respect. I lived 3 years in Thailand many years ago and loved it there.
Geez Joel, I’m beginning to wish I was your shadow!! You could just drop me off here indefinitely! I’m so amazed that the Thai people seem to choose to keep their prices low and live simple lives, keeping everyone happy!
Any time! I also have to smile at that comment, it would be great to show you around!! You can see why I slowly (and also very quickly!) came to love this culture - yeah for food of course but more for the way of life!! Its a great place.
Love you guys.always glad to see your vlogs.such positivity respect and love you show to everyone around you .you make people to feel special about themselves. It's soo great to follow you and see your channel becoming huge. stay safe healthy and blessed and most of all successful.
Wow - Fozia, yes I cannot forget HOW many amazing messages of support you have sent me over the past year. Amazing :). indeed!!! Hope youve been well this 2021 so far, thank you for another great message of peace and blessings today.
Hi Tiffany :-) I appreciate you watching but actually I addressed this two different times specifically in this video, because yes, many people ask me about this, in any video involving open air shops like this
The food can usually be served in this way for 4 or 5 hours without a problem. I have been buying my dinners at 8 or 9pm from roadside stalls. The food has been out there in open air from about 4 or 5pm. It is on trays without heating facilities. The taste does change if it stays outside for 8 or 9 hours, and may cause food poisoning.
@@JoelsTastyRide Thailand country at it's finest lol. Or anywhere in Asia I feel. One time, our flight in the Philippines left 28m early, for example 🤣
Woweee i love a bargain and that restaurant is so affordable enabling us to try many dishes and all the leftovers in a doggy bag to take home, sounds good!!! 🐶🤪🌹😍🥢🥡
Oh yes you could take leftovers home actually, these are not usually that kind of restaurant, people here are having quick meals, or maybe on a weekend if nobody wants to cook, the whole family comes here for an affordable meal and big hang out together.
Wow, thank you! Mitch thats a great comment - thanks for the kind words!! What do you do in The Philippines?? One of the first places I will visit whenever.... (maybe next year!)

Oum, another wonderful comment, wow!! Would love to come to hang out with you in Sweden, I have always wanted to visit. Amazing support, thanks so much for writing!! :)
This is so great to see what a regular Thai person eats when he or she does not feel like cooking. A meal like that will be well over 35 dollars plus tip where I live and might not even be as good as what you just ate on a roadside stand in Thailand. Just wonder is this price normal or is this a mark down special because the owner wants to close the shop for the day?
Hi Mark, another in-depth comment I really appreciate these, thanks for watching by the way. OK OK, so this style of food is going to be what the “average person” eats if they are not eating at home. If you order these same dishes specifically at a restaurant they might cost double, because the chef has to make each one individually, but cooking in large parts like this, yes the price can be very cheap. Actually I’ve seen a full vegetarian restaurant that is even quite a bit less (by proportion :) ) than this!!
No this is not a special price, definitely normal price. I think when I came here alone I ate four plates for 90 baht, but with Li I wanted to try a few more dishes
Hey Joel and Li! This is my kind of food. I think I would sell them out lol. Man I can't wait to travel abroad and visit places like this place. BTW when we do visit Thailand, you totally need to take me to places like this. We're ready haha. Budget friendly for sure and looks so good! It's tough to find prices like this in California, let only the Bay Area. It's almost non-existent. Joel, Li......Great video my family. Blessings
So SO awesome, again Christian man such detailed and full comments from you - so great to see you enjoying these videos at length! Yes, I do hope you can come WITH your family, it would be a great experience even besides the food..... but.... the food!!!! hahah, oh man, yeah it will be fast and furious, and happy, for sure!!

Todd :-) have to give a heart to that comment ha ha Ha :-) thank you for the laugh at least… I would keep my head shaved to within 1 cm if I did not have a beautiful lady in my life who wants my hair long
I want to think that that desert tastes like a Ricola cough drop . Full of floral and spice flavor, bitter in the fact that its medicinal and cooling. I'd love to try it.
Interesting comparison, wow! Maria, hahah ok, I dont know these cough drops, BUT, in China we had the full-on flavor version (SO INTENSE), here its a very nice dessert-type flavor. barely bitter at all, but yes definitely cooling, an amazing snack for sure
UrbanPrepper!! Awesome support, great to see you today! Dont forget, I came here on a one-way ticket with my bag and guitar, almost no money, but I had faith!!
Also, you tickled me with "food in the time of covid". Remained me that we will be saying" in the time of covid". just as we say " love in the time of chollera"! I don't know, it kind of hit my funny bone! 😂
Rode by this place 100+ times and never stopped. Thanks! I'll be sure to correct that mistake ASAP! Don't know how I missed it. Been to all the "Khao Soi row" on that road. Been to some iffy seafood restaurants on the river's side, too. This video is one of the best of Chiang Mai, so far. So relaxing.

@@JoelsTastyRide hmm not sure how I would have missed your video? Will look... yes I'm sure Mark has something, but hard to keep up with him. Cheers.
Every dish looked amazing Joel nice video
Effie!! Super support from you on every video as always :-) hope you’re having a beautiful day today, hope you’re well
Good morning Joel ,I like everything that you ordered especially ไข่พะโล้ and green curry chicken enjoy them 🥰

A wonderful video Joel. You are getting so much better. Keep it up. Love Li and her input.

Amazing video as always. Such a generation since many years back. You always make me miss Thailand even more. You shoot it as is...Reflect the culture (good side) on the video with same respect from you.
Krajchek!! Great to see you, thanks so much for watching and, I really hope you do have the chance to return to THailand (any plans for that soon??)
I like the waybyou explain about the food, another great meal with Li, happy eating !
Thank you 😋 another awesome and kind message James, hope youre having a great day today man!

I heard in Chiang Mai there's an authentic jade shop. I would love to buy from there. Awesome video as usual. Thanks for sharing
Near the end of the video, you said "hanging out with the entire family" and then the 2 children appear. That's great.
N Ram!!! I didn’t see it in real life of course, but editing the video yesterday I just started cracking up! Such perfect timing, could not have even planned it any better that was so great right? I’m happy you like that
Hey joel loving your videos I have learned some thai words thanks for sharing your videos and explaining everything in detail
Glad you like them! For real, thats a cool message (two from you today!! :) ) really appreciate you taking the time to write :)
my mom makes the egg dish. but we call it tom kem. i think thats how you speel it. roughly translate to salty soup. i think. but love the all the food. thanks for sharing.
@@geenasti6490 thank you. I was trying to figure out the spleen of it.
So good! and thank you Vonn, I did try this time to think about the pace, gotta have energy to focus throughout like that (Li makes it SO MUCH easier to make videos, as opposed to doing it on my own :) )
I can't get over your Thai accent. It's perfect !!!
I had the same thought about the hair, and I think Joel said he was living in Chiang Mai.
Amazing
Thanks Carli, yep and in 6 weeks Im gonna confuse you again, ...moving back!!! :)
Haha, yeah man I think Ive moved 4 times in the past 18 months... and next month its gonna be #5!!
I'll have 10 thanksssss!
Matthew very funny 😹😹😹

YO! :)
Well, the Isaan sausage!
Please tell more interesting stories behind some food recipes if you get to find out :-)
The treat is grass jelly
(guilango). You can find it in any Chinatown supermarket in canned form. Just add sugar or whatever.
Hi S I! This is probably available in cans, youre right. Maybe all over the world!
I love how this family makes it though, to me this is why I order dessert today (even though its not a normal thing in some of these videos, as you might see)
Awesome to have you!
but ok, youre right, for videos there is always the tendency to make the table full, no matter the table size.
The last time we ate here together, I think it was to write an article for Marks website, and I think I ordered 9 dishes for that one... something more like the 'usual' order maybe?? But no, I got one of everything, it was just because I was late today!
I like the fact that Li does her best to speak English. Two thumbs up for her! I love your videos Joel. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! 😃 Enith she speaks 5 languages actually, and number 6 is on the way...

Love it :-) yes a delicious comfort meal for a bargain price, exactly this kind of restaurant! And so cool to be able to hang out with the family as well
Joel and Li, How in the world can they afford to make these wonderful dishes for such a price? As always, you bless me with your videos!
When you guys go to these restaurants and the pots are there just sitting out on the counter, is that food served at room temperature?
Hi Tiffany :-) I appreciate you watching but actually I addressed this two different times specifically in this video, because yes, many people ask me about this, in any video involving open air shops like this
@@JoelsTastyRide you're correct, I asked before you were served and seated. Appreciate the reply ☺️. Blessings 🙏🏾
@@JoelsTastyRide I guess when you are in such a hot country room temp is better than having something steaming hot?
The food can usually be served in this way for 4 or 5 hours without a problem. I have been buying my dinners at 8 or 9pm from roadside stalls. The food has been out there in open air from about 4 or 5pm. It is on trays without heating facilities. The taste does change if it stays outside for 8 or 9 hours, and may cause food poisoning.
Great day Joel & Li ;people in that place are seriously early riser,,

Hi Cindy :-) you have the right idea of course, some days it is a challenge but it’s always worth while
This is so great to see what a regular Thai person eats when he or she does not feel like cooking.
I want to think that that desert tastes like a Ricola cough drop . Full of floral and spice flavor, bitter in the fact that its medicinal and cooling. I'd love to try it.
Interesting comparison, wow! Maria, hahah ok, I dont know these cough drops, BUT, in China we had the full-on flavor version (SO INTENSE), here its a very nice dessert-type flavor. barely bitter at all, but yes definitely cooling, an amazing snack for sure
look at that emoji.... oh my :) :) :) shes made so many I forgot about this one, HAHA
I love your videos ... wish I could go to Thailand !!
UrbanPrepper!! Awesome support, great to see you today!
Dont forget, I came here on a one-way ticket with my bag and guitar, almost no money, but I had faith!!
The foods looks good and tasty
Sealife!! Hope you’re having a wonderful day today :-) Jamaica cheers and Love!
@@JoelsTastyRide Thanks same to you and your family One Love💯✌
Also, you tickled me with "food in the time of covid". Remained me that we will be saying" in the time of covid". just as we say " love in the time of chollera"! I don't know, it kind of hit my funny bone! 😂
That is great Connie :) I am smiling with you, haha, yes we do have to make some kind of fun of this "time" and these days...
Don! Wow, hey thanks man, thats great!
And for Orote Ded, yea it is worth a visit. Really cool family, always friendly, and QUALITY food for that price, wow.
Let me know how it goes when you do get a chance, cheers man!

Was this video created a while ago? I noticed in your Chinese New Years meal video your hair is shorter :-) -- Just curious as I like your hair style in this video.
Hi Kamiyama! I did cut my hair recently, yes :) this video is recent though, just maybe not yesterday ;)
