This tutorial will cover how to xclip an xref. The clipping boundary determines the portion of an xref or block instance that is hidden, either outside or inside the boundary.
It works well when you only have Xrefs but when you also want to clip geometric entities or blocks already existing in the drawing, AutoCAD generates as many frames as there are blocks and that's really not so good when you want to move the Frames...

Charlie how do we have clipping boundaries for non-xref objects? is there a similar command that will clip other objects like blocks, polylines etc.
