Shawn Douglas if your going to tell someone they are wrong get your own facts straight smh..the marauder was equipped with an svt 4 valve dohc similar to the Mustang Mach one..crown Vic’s never had a 3 valve and svt never used a 3 valve smh
Thank you Mr. Random for doing this video! I had a great time. Whether the cars gets likes or dislikes it's a blast to drive. It's a very very very recent build. Car was fully equipped with everything when bought and i stripped it. I love my Vic and my mustang. If you guys want check my Instagram Cruel_Vic . Have a great day guys
I had 2 of them.. one 96 white and one 99 black. Both had rubber floors and the vinyl seats. Lots of air over bumps and hills and the suspension is awesome. I will probably track down another 99 body style interceptor again... one day. Between the ecoline van, f150, and the crown victoria ford sure made some work horses!
Visually I like it better bone stock the way it's supposed to look, not even mess with lowering it, but adding a bunch of performance mods would be cool for sure.
dofeshmirtzevilinc I totally agree brother so it can outrun an SRT8 Charger with super ease and it'll demolish a Scat Pack charger with super ease as well.
Thanks Bro! I’m just now coming across these videos . I have 2004 Crown Vic. I have my chrome tips and 40 series mufflers on there. And I left my poor Car sitting up for 4 years. So I’m getting my car back into shape etc. But by watching your videos. I’ve learn a lot .
Nice. I have an 06 all black P71 I'm working on. I got rid of the nonworking spots, put some 01 Mustang Bullitt wheels on it and tinted the back windows, totally changed the way it looks. A 5 speed swap is in the works along with a 5.4 swap in the future.
I am building my first CVPI, I am planning on building it in a way where it mixes these 2 into one, I plan on taking bits and pieces of each and putting them together. I love this!
Interesting video(s) you've done. I bought an '09 CVPI, and have done a little work on it at a Ford dealership, (Double Coil on plug, 1 item, with a minor tune-up.). Getting ready to attempt a Air Conditioner 'fix' using a RedTek kit, as a local dealer wanted $1400 to do the work, and that was after spending $200 to have him tell me that . I told him I hadn't planned on a make work project for any auto repair shop. My Vic is white, and I would like to have it repainted in black, if it isn't another make work project for someone else. I had to patch the roof holes, using JB Weld's special quick dry "putty" mix. It worked well but still more to do. Next, try and restore the interior lighting to a normal Vic condition and ad an ashtray, lighter and center console. After looking at both Vic's, I think that I prefer the normal ride height and basic CVPI lights, etc, without the push bar though . . .though it might come in handy when I teach my Lady to drive. I really like what both of you Gents have done with your beasts . . . great look.
Yeah, the fixations have to bend upon impact to fit this standard, which defies the purpose of a push bar, which is to PUSH. Fuck Europe and their shit laws. EXIT it QUICK QUICK QUICK!
Looks like my 06's twin. Same wheels, same color though mine is only about an 1.5 inches lower then stock. You will love the gears. I replaced my 3.55's with 3.90's and with a tune also it changed the car completely.
Seen a crown Vic NYPD here in London England today. lights and stickers still on the vehicle. Looks amazing Shame I can't add the pictures I took on here for you to see
Haven't got instagram but just saw on the photos that it's used for weddings and they have a Facebook page called "Essex nypd car" if you search for that you'll see pictures
Got a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis. Pretty much bone stock except for police hubcaps and beauty rings. Had the car since it was new. I love the car and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon.
Hello I'm new to your channel. I currently have a 2006 Police interceptor and I love it. Mine is all shock looks just like yours. 2 days before I bought it I went ahead and ordered new headlights side marker lights The marauder grill and Tail lights, Along with Chrome covers for both side mirrors Which I now regret They are a b**** to pull off . Since that time I have added a One inch chin skirt I like And a rear window Spoiler And I just added a One inch high spoiler on the trunk lid I like. Mine is dark blue I like your push bar though, I do have one on mine . As for the gentleman that owns the cruel Vic, I really like what he has done to His vehicle I would do the same thing But I would keep Rhino push bar And get the The stamps steal cowl induction hood . Although I have to agree his Vic being lowered does look very sweet but seeing as the P71's have an F 150 rating for aggressive urban driving, I like knowing that In some sort of event I would be able to do just that and not have to worry about the car being too lower to go places that not even most SUV's can go.
Love both. The right pedal is slightly off on the crown Vic/grand marquis which is no big deal until u hit bumper-to-bumper traffic, then my knees feel awful. Otherwise I'd already have one
I have a 2003...storing it for a friend that might sell it to me...never knew the Crown Vics were so popular! After seeing some similar videos i just might keep the car, tho Washington State has a cruelly expensive car-registration process and it's taking a while to get this car "going"...but thanx for the video, real good! From Seattle, Peace!
Nice collaboration guys. The stance of Cruel Vic looks really good. But i personally prefer the functionality of the stock height for going off road and so forth.
hi mr. random I have a 2002 Crown Vic I want to buy new seats what kind of seeds can I buy so they can cross over that little hump in the middle thanks keep up the good work
both p-71's are cool ......I really dig the (focus) fog lights .....but your steel h.d. police rims are (in my opinion) the coolest cop car wheels around.....PERIOD.....BOTH CARS ARE AWESOME!
I'm 17 years old. My parents take me car shopping and all day they show me Chargers, Mustangs, Jeeps, and such. I see a crown victoria on a lot and ask to stop and see it. They are in disbelief I'm interested in this "grandpa car" but they let me see it. They're thinking I'm joking when I ask to test drive it. The best part is its the car I got today :)
Hey Mr. Cruel Vic love your crown victoria..I know it"s the Ford Focus fog light kit..but how is the fog lights mounted to the bumper the way you have yours. what parts exactly do I need [ brackets etc.] to install.
Liked this video a lot. The headlights and fogs are great. Performance is important....I like the lowered stance, but high performance on various road surface levels and turns would be a concern. These are cars that bring to mind the world of "Sin City" the movie. I like the simple modifications, such as the transmission upgrade work. Really nice auto.
So I ordered Marauder headlamps for my Grand Marquis and they came with a round connector which doesn’t fit the rectangular connector in the car. Any adapters available?
How many coils in the front did you cut? I'm going the same route. I also heard that 2005 and up mustang rear springs do the job nicely as Well. For the rear.
Both are amazing. I would mix the two styles. I would do basically a copy of cruel vics. build and exterior. keep the stock wheels. Maybe use the pancake caps or old ranger caps. use Mr randoms push bumper.
Nice car. I was disappointed to learn that he removed all four catalytic converters. Per the 1975 Clean Air Act, it is illegal by federal law to disable, remove or bypass any pollution control device on any vehicle operated on public roads. On a properly tuned vehicle, the catalytic converter has almost no effect on horsepower, and in fact not only converts harmful O2, HC, and NOX into carbon dioxide and water vapor, but also provides a helpful secondary back pressure source so that you're not blowing unburned fuel out of your exhaust system.
nice video both are nice vics. but i do like cruel vic sound and look i cant wait till my vic is black should be soon i think it should make mine look a lil more aggressive.
I followed him thanks to your recommendation. question for you my random. I have a 2008 p71. 139k miles with 5k idle hours. creaking front end. And slight whine in the diff or trans. is it worth modifying and keeping or look for a better vic?
best mods for a Vic. 1. gears 2. torque converter 3. stainless works long tubes with cat back ( that's almost 3 grand alone) and by this point you've doubled the five grand you spent on the car that has 100+k on it and you buy a focus rs and become happy.
You will regret putting 4.10's in it. I have an '06 LX with a complete P71 suspension swap, a 93 octane tune (with some other twists) and a 3.55 gear. I have tried several other ratios and the 3.55 is by far the best gear for this car. Third gear pulls like a bitch!
Even stock Crown vic is very powerful. I won't modify it because it belonged to my grandparents and I bought it before they died. Love the vid though. :-)
I would love to see a p71 modded for better performance. Obviously the suspension is awesome, but what about air intake turbo? A sleeper crown vic that still looks like a patrol vehicle?
I own a 2005 Crown Vic LX. I bought it from a friend that put 225,000 miles on it. Because it has so many miles, I don't want to mod it, however I want to do something to the exhaust to bring out that beast of a v8! Because I don't have the sport or p71, it only has one exhaust, not dual exhaust. It does have a cut out in the bumper where the dual exhaust would fit if I split it. What's the cheapest exhaust mod(s) I can do to make it sound even more beast!
What seat covers are you using Adam ? Can you post a link where to buy them ? I have a 2000 bought it after watching the movie Harsh Times...I love my P71
i think if u go with flowmaster i think u should go with the 10s i wanted to hear a good video on a vic with them i have thrush rattler they are a 1 chamber muffler and so is the flowmaster 10s to hear the difference.
I just bought an 09 with basically the same set up but flow50s, want to get the GT500 and in it but lot I don't know first and foremost what type of tyranny and exhaust would best handle this 900HP beast and rear end setup pls. If anyone can offer advice on a nice well balanced stockinette setup would be greatly appreciated. And pls. No half-assed, shade tree guesses.
I LIKE YOUR CAR WAY BETTER but I'd think you should do so more to make it faster.I have glass packs on mine and a cold air intake.I want to do more though. Love your vids man
I'm curious why Ford went to the fender mounted radio antenna ? My '03 Sport has the antenna in the rear window, and the reception is fine. Sorry, dude, but the "rain gutters" on the windows, while very functional, don't look good on the Vic. It's the "Grandma" effect. I really appreciate your enthusiasm for the CV. After I installed some "V" rated Yokohama's, it handles VERY well. They are VERY quiet, smooth riding, but not floaty , just a really nice car. It just so happens to have 3:73 gears from the factory; a big plus. Just turned over 134K miles yesterday, and I still feel as excited to drive the car today as I did the day I bought it 8 years ago. The main thing I don't like, is that, especially at night, other drivers look in their rear mirror, and think I'm a cop, and automatically SLOW DOWN, even if they're doing the speed limit ! It can be quite frustrating.
What would it take to get it to the 305 horsepower the Marauder made? That's a 55hp bump from the later p71s, and without a lot of drama. If memory serves all the mods on the Merc were external, and easily accomplished.
thats a good question...i would probably swap out the intake manifold..headers..cold air intake..exhaust...injectors...cams..and a good tune...youd probably be close to 300hp and around $2-$3k if you buy quality parts...but for that you just buy a marauder...a decent vic goes for $3k plus $3k worth of mods...thats $6k...the cheapest marauder ive found was $8k..you can probably negotiate it down to $7,500...might as well go for the merc lol
wtf the 355 rear end is what i have, and btw what mine came with.... oh boy body mods sigh.... cold air intake.... whoo. props on the exhaust but thats about it... retune for ethanol, buddy, youll be happy you did. im waiting on my eaton drop springs, have slotted/drilled rotors and im happy to say im not one of the dudes that wants to copy cruel vic. project8909 is going to run mean not just look like it
I have a O3 Grand Marquis that I bought back in 15 for 500 bucks. She is rough, dirty and needs front brakes but I wouldn't get rid of her for the world
removing the cats you lose torque but you gain hp in California it's illegal to remove the cats but a lot people just hone them out so it passes inspection
u can see my vic at kevinmateyka on Instagram or facebook and RUclips i also have a group called muscle vic's for anyone thats a fan of crown vic, mercs, and muscle cars or just have questions about these cars.
Follow Cruel vic on Instagram @Cruel_Vic

Lmao thanks brotha!
looks a lot like a Marauder with mustang rims
Bout the same car only cheaper.
wrong .murauder is completely different motor. it has the 3 valve mustang GT engine while the crown Vic uses the old 2valve
Shawn Douglas if your going to tell someone they are wrong get your own facts straight smh..the marauder was equipped with an svt 4 valve dohc similar to the Mustang Mach one..crown Vic’s never had a 3 valve and svt never used a 3 valve smh
Shawn Douglas fucking idiot lol

Sweet car! I imagine it would be even more of a blast with some 4.10 gears!
Can't go wrong with either of the cars both badass
I cant wait to get one! I'm 16 and working 2 jobs to hopefully get one!
Gavin Phillips true im getting mine this Saturday
Dejuan Small congrats bro what year?
07
Curious to know if you got one yet^^^^
Any Vic is a good first car tbh mine is the 05 p71 and it's never gave me problems the yr of owning
I own an 03 vic sport and i love my car. Great to see other people are taking interest in these cars. super fun and roomy cars!
Visually I like it better bone stock the way it's supposed to look, not even mess with lowering it, but adding a bunch of performance mods would be cool for sure.
Someone needs to coyote swap a crown vic...
a lot of people already have. look it up
dofeshmirtzevilinc I totally agree brother so it can outrun an SRT8 Charger with super ease and it'll demolish a Scat Pack charger with super ease as well.
Cleetus threw a gt500 motor in his
that stock p71 is clean.
sickest vic in the south? Thats hurtin man that thing is STOCK.. oooh throttle body spacer
Thanks Bro! I’m just now coming across these videos . I have 2004 Crown Vic. I have my chrome tips and 40 series mufflers on there. And I left my poor Car sitting up for 4 years. So I’m getting my car back into shape etc. But by watching your videos. I’ve learn a lot .

its missing somting...... push bar !!!
David ketting 1985 no...
Push bar is illegal in Europe, what a shitty law! You're very lucky Americans, but KEEP YOUR RIGHTS!
in europe is not ilegal to fit a push bar but you need to have a E2 stamp. i'l just fited 1 to my mondeo mk2
Yeah, the fixations have to bend upon impact to fit this standard, which defies the purpose of a push bar, which is to PUSH. Fuck Europe and their shit laws. EXIT it QUICK QUICK QUICK!
Yeah. The push bar looks like it was designed by a 7th grade shop class. Install a real one, or get rid of it altogether.
Looks like my 06's twin. Same wheels, same color though mine is only about an 1.5 inches lower then stock. You will love the gears. I replaced my 3.55's with 3.90's and with a tune also it changed the car completely.
Sweet Vics! The '05 looks great, it actually looks close to mine! I swap between those Bullitt wheels and the Steelies. They both look good!
Seen a crown Vic NYPD here in London England today. lights and stickers still on the vehicle. Looks amazing Shame I can't add the pictures I took on here for you to see
add me on instagram and u can send them from there @ mr random reviews

Got a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis. Pretty much bone stock except for police hubcaps and beauty rings. Had the car since it was new. I love the car and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon.
You know that I like both, differently like the exhaust and the fog lites. Great job
Hello I'm new to your channel. I currently have a 2006 Police interceptor and I love it. Nice Vics. I just got myself a 2003 Grand Marquis and I love it
Getting the same P71 this week same color and all here in FL. Can't wait
Two nice vics.
I wish i was in Florida so you could review my vic. I won't be there until next year.
I really like that exhaust sound. It's loud and aggressive, but at the same time it has a good soft, low tone to it, so it doesn't hurt your years.
Both are AWESOMELY AWESOME. . I need to get myself one. Preferably BLACK on BLACK. Great video guys.
Nice collaboration guys. The stance of Cruel Vic looks really good. But i personally prefer the functionality of the stock height for going off road and so forth.
hi mr. random I have a 2002 Crown Vic I want to buy new seats what kind of seeds can I buy so they can cross over that little hump in the middle thanks keep up the good work
I'm more of keeping the stock look, sleeper mode
I own an 04 cvpi that I put an aftermarket intake on and have headers and glasspacks man it sounds really good
both p-71's are cool ......I really dig the (focus) fog lights .....but your steel h.d. police rims are (in my opinion) the coolest cop car wheels around.....PERIOD.....BOTH CARS ARE AWESOME!
I'll take both, i had a 77 Dodge Fury lll with a 440 cid. The crown vic is a great car too, loved my Fury lll too.
The Marauder is my favorite but they both look slick. If you keep the cats, 10 series is a must.
Both cars are great. I have to have two. I have a 02 LX SPORT super clean 40k miles. And a 05 MGM ULTIMATE LS
Awesome video! Awesome car! Great job guys! 👍👌
thanks my boy
Hey Mr. Cruel Vic love your crown victoria..I know it"s the Ford Focus fog light kit..but how is the fog lights mounted to the bumper the way you have yours. what parts exactly do I need [ brackets etc.] to install.
The car is perfect I like the set up, I also went a different route I didn't want my car looking like a cop car.My profile pic say it all.
And slight whine in the diff or trans. is it worth modifying and keeping or look for a better vic?
kazeboy1 everytime i close the door I have that squeak. so annoying
try some moly grease on the hood latch. that fixed the squeak for me!
Dude I have. Shit's embarrasing!
Thanks for the ment though
I have that same squeek when I close my door!
best mods for a Vic.
1. gears
2. torque converter
3. stainless works long tubes with cat back ( that's almost 3 grand alone)
and by this point you've doubled the five grand you spent on the car that has 100+k on it and you buy a focus rs and become happy.
What stall convertor
What size rims and tires you recommend if it came with 17s? Would 15s 20s-28s ride better as far as fuel mileage and handling/???
Love them both. Really love Cruel Vic's exhaust!
Awesome vid and review of a stock to a modified crown Vic! Ready to get one now!
The original look is what I would go for I like the fog lights on the lowered Crown Vic but I like the push bar on the original Crown Vic
I like them both. Cruel Vic sounds pretty good though. I bought an 03 Marauder a little over a year ago and fixing it up. Just subscribed
with all the upgrades your pushing about 280hp
What kind of throttle body spacer and how is it installed ? I'm trying to figure out if I have mine right ?
there both sweet....the "stock" version looks like an unmarked cop car...love them both
Nice video. Do the police in Florida mess with people over the dark window tint on these vehicles? I'm in Orlando btw
Yes they do , this cars are big time cop magnets so if you got dark windows ,look out for getting stopped.
What's the cheapest exhaust mod(s) I can do to make it sound even more beast!
Joshua Wheeler I put dual exhausts and magna flows on mine. Sounds great. 2003 LX
Just cut the mufflers off. Makes a huge difference.
Loved that turn the page montage!
i have always liked these crown vics. maybe i will picknup one to have a bit of fun with
What seat covers are you using Adam ? Can you post a link where to buy them ? I have a 2000 bought it after watching the movie Harsh Times...I love my P71
When u sit in a crown vic , ur body automatically leans on the right armrest and left hand on the steering wheel , and u become a GOD ...........! 😘😍
Awesome! where did you get the marauder tail lights?
i think if u go with flowmaster i think u should go with the 10s i wanted to hear a good video on a vic with them i have thrush rattler they are a 1 chamber muffler and so is the flowmaster 10s to hear the difference.
Love the exhaust on the cruel vic does it have headers or stock manifolds
Good morning Adam aka vin diesel lol😂 I love your crown Victoria! Very bad ass
Good stuff I'm actually preparing myself to do the same.
Love your vids man
I'm really feeling both...but I have to say i like the regular crown vic. i have a 98 crown vic
I think both cars are sick! I love them both and think they are both hot, fresh rides.
It can be quite frustrating.
Where did you get the front bumper? I'm trying to find one like that bbut no luck so far
dude you took the words right out of my mouth. It sounds like a mustang.
YEAAAAH ! its a beast ..... i really want dat Vehicle
That one has an awesome sound to it!
I love all your videos on your cop cars that you do
How many coils did he cut off on a Cruel Vic and what shocks is it running ?
She is rough, dirty and needs front brakes but I wouldn't get rid of her for the world
What do you do with the O2 sensors when you eliminate the 4 cats ?
Did you record yourself playing fade to black? Sounded different from the original.
What kind of fog lights are those so I can I purchase for a 2011 Vic?
removing the cats you lose torque but you gain hp in California it's illegal to remove the cats but a lot people just hone them out so it passes inspection
You don’t lose anything by taking off the cats..that is one of the most ridiculous wives tales about cars I’ve heard lmao
Thats a badass Vic,fade to black ftw!!
u can see my vic at kevinmateyka on Instagram or facebook and RUclips i also have a group called muscle vic's for anyone thats a fan of crown vic, mercs, and muscle cars or just have questions about these cars.
What did you do with Ford Focus fog lights and how can I do the same to my car?
What's up with the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors by the dome lights????
my 07 had all that with long tube headers
For the most part, I would do bone stock, but with the marauder tail lights
Cooool, I think I would go with the stock crown vic.🙂🙂
very nice these are my favorite cars.
Can you tell me where Cruel Vic got his throttle body spacer, I have been unable to find one for a 2008 Crown Vic???
throttle body spacers are useless
