- My Buddy chrisfix was right! this stuff actually works!
i noticed an immediate difference in throttle response and you can see it for yourself how my car peels out even though it weighs almost 5000lbs!
this will make your old car drive like new
Man that side exhaust is boss!!!!
HA jokes on you my engine light is already on 🤣🤣
I tried the sea foam on my 1996 Ford Thunderbird with over 270,000 miles. That thing put my car in turbo mode..LoL. It really gave my car more power, I even had the check engine light on and after doing that treatment the check engine went away.
Bro, egr valve
i want to let you know how much i appreciate your videos for us panther platform enthusiasts i watch your videos whenever i have time like i drive to work and when i take shits
My P71 has 176k on it, my gauge cluster wasn't working so I bought a used cluster and now it shows 92k that's how I turned back my mileage. To all the haters out there I'm keeping this car till I die so don't worry I'm not gonna sell it. I really wouldn't care about the negs anyway. Keep up the great work my friend
Where'd you buy your cluster and how much was it?
Man that Vic sounds awesome I'm getting a crown Vic tommorow
LOVE that thick white smoke !!!!!
I just picked up a '08 SAP vic had 175K miles from the PD and I had to seafoam it 3 times to get it cleaned out, On the 3rd time last night I did it at Autozone and the faces on the family next to me were priceless LMAO !!!
Throttle was good, But not good enough for my standards. Next are new Motorcraft plugs !!!!
6 years later... U still got the car?
LMAO “watch this!” (Floors it in a school zone) 😂😂😂
on a weekend so....yea
you beat me to this one... I bought the Sea Foam spray a couple months back but haven't shot the video yet
Did it help?
We all going to die anyways 😂😂😁😂lmao
Y'all spoke too soon
😂
Thank you for your time, highly appreciated it, have a great day, take care of yourself.
Do a 0 to 60 compare from old Vic vid to now
You have NO cold air box which means your hurting your HP and Torque you sucking in hot air of your engine. You have to have box that blocks the hot air from your engine
It really doesn't matter because the interceptor engines get pretty hot anyway he can put one to block the heat but still going to get inside anyway that's why they have the vintage hood
What do these blocks look like ? And do I need to buy a specific one bc im trying to get into buying a crown vic
Just did the sea foam treatment today and it really did make a huge difference with a few things in a good way, my mpg ,smoothness, acceleration all improved
I can only imagine mine with 355,000+
Omg same with mine 😂😂😂
Mine has 600,000+ and runs like a turd so I need three cans of that😂😂
David Woodrow 🤣I love it
@@mikejones1890 mine has 160ish and sounds like a tractor/turd
I just got a 2009 crown Victoria police interceptor today I’ve been watching your videos I love the car already 💯👍🏼
I would put caution k-69 on my crownvic.
cat high on catnip
Is that C3PO's arm attached to the intake? :O
😂
So it can release a tiny bit of heat from the hot air it's sucking in from the engine compartment.
I love the side exhaust.
I have a 99 p71 with 107k miles on it by far the best car I've Owned I've been doing some mods on it I actually built my own 2.5" custom exhaust system for it with some Flowmaster Super 10 Mufflers.
I love the way it sounds and I actually did that seafoam treatment on it a little less than a week ago and the car didn't smoke that much but I noticed the difference in the power right away I love your videos keep them coming
Love the side pipes... I plan the same setup on my 2000' mgm!
After watching this I did it on my g8 and also made a video. Mine had about 10x more smoke and the throttle is a lot more touchy now. Very easy and fun to do. Nice video man!
Appreciate the tip brother !!! Im actually trying to find a crown vic myself and fix it up, its gonna be a long process but ik in the end im gonna love it 😎
Your car.....sounds....soooo good!
Thanks for the vid! With that K9 sticker you should have a miniature Doberman Pinscher jump out :)
Took out both front cats with sea foam on my 1997 Vic......Big mistake .
See that's what a mechanic told me not to do this because it'll fog up my o2 and cats
Im still soooo happy someone made a good video about side dumbs and it was you
HELL YEAH Chris is right all the rime
*SCHOOL ZONE SIGN*
"GUYS WATCH THIS THROTTLE RESPONSE" /GUNS IT/
🤣🤣🤣😭
You can use the other can..This one is just made specially for the intake cleaning..the other is for all three uses..just have to induce the other can into the vacuum hose..but its dangerous because pour to fast and it can hydrolock motor..This spray is to take that danger out of it... Can still spray into the vacuum hose. Supposed to be 2 people.. I used a small brick to hold throttle to just at 2100 RPM..I don't spray all at time.. I spray, break, spray...but I took more than 5 minutes..Still works..
Dam bro, i like the side exit on the exhaust,
Get rid of aftermarket air crap..
Ive used it on my 1999 with about 175k on it. I did it the ez way. Add 1/2 can to a tank of gas and just drive it as normal. Repeat after that tank runs out and it turned my engine light off. And the car doesn't smoke like its about to blow lol.
Love the side pipes 👍👍 where can I get a pair? The sound is awesome and exactly what I’ve been looking for 😁
U want even more power and better fuel economy clean out your mass air sensor and make sure you air filter is clean clean mass air sensor often though! You'll thank me!👍
An oil change after is important, carbon dust will stick to the cylinder wall scoring and get behind the cylinder rings
I bet the sound of the Vic will scare all the Honda’s away 🐌
Gotta hear mine, straight piped (gutted cats) side exit mid way through the doors
Is 1 treatment enough? Would it hurt to repeat the process to further clean the engine?
the side exhaust look so hot
Car sounds very nice. What exhaust setup do you have?
I'm curious as well
It sounds so good with the new exhaust.
You also want to change the oil soon after you do the sea foam treatment, It’ll make it very dirty. Best way to do it is to do the treatment when you’re going to change the oil.
A top engine treatment thru the intake and exhaust vales should not affect the oil at all , as no oil is entering the combustion Chambers , if your worried unhook the egr valve before cleaning that way exhaust gas won't recirculate thru while being cleaned but then those ports won't be cleaned either , no matter what tho the engine oil should never come into contact with air intake or exhaust system .
Ok. Do you hold the can for 5 minutes full spray? Or do you hold the can for 5 minutes and spray and pause and spray? In your instructions you said this a few times different each time. So for people that don't know. Maybe you want to say the correct can use.
I got a 112,296 on my vic its a 2000 p71
It works!!!! I used that stuff before. It works like magic.
I just used this on my 06 Crown Vic which was misfiring and had no power, instantly powered up ultra turbo mode!
Great vid man so the bottle cap is black the other is different just wanna make sure I don't pick up the wrong one
maaaan, I wish town cars came with a tach :(
But they do... 🤔. Mine has one
@@aldenrichie depends on the year. Mine doesn't either.
i want a black CV or black marauder
jack adams >>> That’s the ticket! All black. I’ve never understood people’s attraction to white.
Quick tip after you’re done spraying the can let the car sit for 10 minutes then start it again what this does is hot soaks the cylinders
Hello my boy, it's your dad. Son, I didn't know you drove a Crown Vic.
I have to try this on my Vic she got 275k on her lol
Sounds amazing!!
Dude I Just bought a 2006 Crown Vic with 141000 miles for 2700
I just bought one 2010 with 129k .. any problems so far ??
How do I know for a 05 Vic it doesn’t have the rpm gage
Judge by sound
Put a tachometer I do on my mom rpm cvpi's
I didn't have a tach. I just went by how loud the engine sounded when giving it gas.
My mom used seafoam on her 2010 Camaro RS V6 along with premium fuel and it runs like a champ and got all of its power back.
So awesome I love my p71 but yours is way better
Cleans o2 sensors too. No more emission lights.
Get a proper cold air intake or make some sort of heat shield around it
Ive always wanted a crown vic since i was a kid. But due ti being a single mom of 3 i had ti get a different bigger car. I am now 40 all kifs are grown and i finally got a 97 crown vic BUT IVE WATCH MOST OF UR VIDEO'S and all the stuff you said would fail failed .. I dont wanna get rid of it but its jerking a lot driver window failedand something is draining my battery. And as a female everytime i take it to the mechanic they tell me something new everytime. I dont know what to do i dont wanna get rid of it it only has 160 thousand miles for a 97 PLEASE HELP thank you
Do you still have your vic?
It need a tune up spark plugs an coil packs
battery draining? alternator maybe, stereo malfunction?
and jerking? engine and/or transmissions mounts.
Why are you surprised about wheel spin, my 08 p71 lights the tires easily. I thought they all do.
Depending on gearing if they want highway or urban usage
What kind of exhaust is on there
I'm curious as well
Best stuff ever invented. Let us know if you have any improvements in a week.
sweet engine sound👍
Mr Random, I watched this video and decided I have to do this on my newly bought 2011 P71. But I looked up other videos for reassurance and all of the other videos are years old and they show them taking out some tube and stuff. I just want to reassure I should take out the intake correct?
Nice! I just did this on my 07 a few weeks ago and its awesome stuff!
Make sure you use mass air sensor cleaner in a spray can anything else can damage the protecting coating on the sensor!
it can fowl out your cats and o2 sensors. take it from a actual automotive technician. theres a reason ford, chevy and dodge with all other car companies recommend AGAINST induction service cleaning. unless you have a direct injection engine that has no gasoline being sprayed on the valves, then using sea-foam is pointless. tore my 4.62v down after 165,000 miles, and valves, and everything were spotless, BECAUSE ITS A NON DIRECT INJECTION SET UP, THE GASOLINE CLEANS THE VALVES, hence the reason cleaning additives are added to pump gas.
weiner drizzle the reason the big 3 and others recommend against it is, or should be obvious. They'd be out of business quick if every vehicle sold lasted for 500,000 miles. Additives to gas are proving to be more and more like Fluoride in our water. You may have less cavities and whiter teeth, but your still ingesting poison. Wheras, additives accelerate the decomposition of rings, gaskets, etc., A clearout of the intake prior to replacement of these is an overhaul in itself. Strongly advised before tune-ups after 50,000 miles.
weiner drizzle your right n it will ruin your cats n o-2’s
yeah from what ive seen additives are mostly BS...im 57 and the amount of additives ive used i could count on my fingers...i do use Heet if the weather turns bitter cold to rid my fuel of any moisture.
By new cats or straight pipe and sensors not hard to spend a little money took away all my issues done it on all my Vic's.
After I sea foamed my 07 P71, I got an engine light. The parts store scanned it for me. It is the driver side catalytic converter. It still runs good. Is it possible that I just need to replace the sensors, or is it more likely the cats?
Buy redline fuel system cleaner off amazon. Take an endoscope down the spark plug hole and do a comparison. That brand is top notch and provides best results. Gumout’s version works better because it can work in high temps “PEA” which sea foam doesn’t have. Also you don’t rev the engine when you’re pouring as far as I know. When I did them on Vics I poured it down the pcv line while idling by myself. Let it rest for 10 minuets and have hit WOT as much as I could.
Tested Redline SI-1 back at school and one bottle in couple days vastly reduced emissions as tested by 4 and 5 gas analyzer. They has every brand name on the shelf of fuel treatment and none worked. The Redline was the first on the shelf ever for working. His mileage improved and it ran better. Subsequent fuelinjector cleaning did VERY little. Doubly shocked our instructor. Redline did almost all of the good.
love the upgradees and exhaust
So i have a 09 crown vic p71 and i been wanting up beef it up a lil any advise on what i should start with while doing it the poor mans way?
Swap dohc
I would fog the engine with sea foam then take it out on a backroad and open it up. It would stop smoking after a half mile of running wide open throttle.
will it cure bald spots on my tires?
yes and on your head too...it does it all!
Yeah it will. Your tire's cords are there for "back up" tread...
Where does that gunk go
Holy crap thats close to my house
You hear him go by?
What does the ranch light means
Hmmmm...🤔 I may just have to do this on my truck and my wife’s car...I wonder about my motorcycle...🤔
Sea foam is great for motorcycles I use the fuel add dive sea foam you just pour in your gas tank
I think 05 and below Vic’s have cable throttle body, so they should be able to pull it off without any help. Btw dat side exhaust is fkn dope lol
I have a crown vic police interceptor and obd2 dont work and the cig lighter fuse has no wires going to it. I pulled the fuse box and no wires ever went there what could be going on?
So I put a small amount of Seafoam in the gas tank of my 2008 P71 and now it stalls at idle when I have the ac on, the car only had 89000 miles and the ac was working awesome before
My Marquis has no tach. I don't think I'll be able to do this
11:50 *Hits the gas while going into a school zone*
Bruh that exhaust sound tho
Hey my 08 cvpi makes a quick flapping/ticking kind of noise for about 2 seconds then stops when i give it quick throttle anywhere from 0-30mph, I almost think its the coil arcing out rapidly possibly because i have had it fail from coolant being built up in the no. 8 cylinder. Im thinking maybe it filled back up or there is just enough coolant 8n there to make it arc out only when giving it quick throttle blips at low speeds . Havent seen a video of it yet so i m lost and i just want some help figuring this out before i start buting parts i dont need. Please help guys
Hello! I have a 2009 Montreal P71, 140 000 Km. The sea foam web site says to spray for 3 minutes. Is there special reasons to do it 5 minutes like you did? thanks!
Keeps everything moving. Kinda like a buffer
Mr. Random if your car is smoking from the tailpipes without that seafoam could that be a head gasket but the only problem it has no signs of a head gasket just white smoke on my 99 crown Vic
What year Vic is that?
Amazing car
Check engine light still on tho🙄
Would you recommend doing this more than once
how much horsepower gain from the cold air intake
Ugh i want a vic rn!
GameOnDude 3 so buy one
we're can i get that same cold air intake for my crown vic 4.6 motor
I have a hesitation on right turns take off mainly what u think is i have p71 2005 alot of miles
What exhaust setup do u have? Sounds amazing
Bro that ride sounds fucking bad ass!
When did you get it side piped makes it sound way better don't it
What’s your exhaust set up?✅ that’s the sound I want for my vic
Sounds like you have the infamous rear control arm squeak.
Where did you get that side exhaust and the front bumper
Now put some motorkote in that vic and you got a 300,000 mile car all day long.
