I can hear myself talk on my computer speakers, is there any way to have it so i cant hear myself while the mic is being used? I have to use headphones I really do not wan to.
@@0xD42K green ear is off tho... I only want to hear computer audio, but ear on or off, I still hear my voice on my studio monitors no matter the setting.... any ideas?
Upgrade I’d like is to be program pads to be 1,2,3&4. Using Switcher Studio, I can change cameras by tapping those keys on a Bluetooth keyboard or keypad.
14:08 I wish you could show us the settings for routing to the monitors/speakers bsdies the headphones. I want my microphone for my Beyerdynamic DT-797 to be heard through my headphones, but not to my speakers. This is important when it comes to working from home. I understand that tapping the USB connection that you showed should be the same as for the speaker output, but it would have been nice though so I can see what I can expect before I make an informed purchasing decisions.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Oh it's okay. A lot of RUclipsrs do not go in-depth and do a walkthrough of the UI anyways. I'm going to place my order for the Rodecaster Duo. Thanks for the video.
You can just use the RCDuo chat mic to have only the mic, you don't need the second cable unless you stream from a dual PC setup which are becoming outdated due to much better GPUs
Would it be possible to have a stream mix/monitor mix? In the sense of if one were livestreaming, the stream would hear certain channels lower in a stream mix than the monitor mix
thanks for the explanation and workarounds. . .. i want to separate tracks and control them individually and this piece of hardware feels like its not inclined to allow to do so. ... starting to think i need to return mine, really . ...
This is a REALLY DETAILED guide. I'd like to ask an additional question. If I wanted to use the RODECaster Duo in FL Studio, input my microphone into that, and then send the output of FL Studio to say OBS, or anywhere, how would you go about doing that? I know ASIO Drivers can be a little picky, but you normally use ASIO drivers for DAWs. Could you either comment back with details, or maybe even make a guide on how to do it? I do a bit of Hybrid content creation, recording guitar/vocals in FL Studio and also recording all of that with OBS Studio with my camera. Please and thank you!
@@Grid21 but a whole month. You’re probably just sitting waiting to use ya new rode caster and the only thing holding you back is this guy! And he’s just taking his sweet time🤬😡😡
Hello, I would like you to help me, Rodecaster Duo Speaker/Headphone audio only comes from left side when I connect it to the rear audio ports... it works perfectly only in the front, could you give me some advice...? Thanks in advance
Cool trick for obs ! I'd like to know if there is a way to use the faders to change the volume on those separate tracks on obs too For the moment i've got the discord, game and mic channels separated but the faders wont change the volumes in there
Hey man! First of all. Thank you so much for the video! So here is the thing. I have just bought my self a Rodecaster Duo. And my stream-setup is a build with two computers. Before i had a GOXL-Mini, I finally got it to work untill i realise the GOXLR series is dead... So now to my question. How will you hear from both computers? I also have a wireless headset like your self, a steelseries arctis pro. But with the black box :) Im so confused :S
Hi. Any problems with the audio latency in your headphones? Do you use RD output for your headphones? I am considering to buy it, but there is a lot of comments about the huge latency.
I've not seen "huge" latency at all. If there is any I don't notice it. If your ear is highly tuned and you're easily annoyed then that might be a different story. Naturally there's likely some with a wireless Vs wired connection but I don't hear it
For apex legends in-game chat, would I choose caster duo main or caster duo chat? I was using chat but I heard it sounds horrible. If I choose main would they hear unwanted audio?
If you can choose then it should be chat, much like discord. It is sounded horrible was it because they were hearing themselves or the game audio too? If so then you need mix minus like I showed
Thanks for the video this has been super helpful! I have one question I’m hoping you can answer - I also have an arctic nova pro. I’m primarily going to live stream and record podcasts on stream yard. Can I use my sonar for just my headphones while using the rode caster for the microphone related stuff and it work fine? Or do I need to use sonar for both input and output OR rode caster for both? I ask this cause I want to be able to use my game specific sounds in my arctic pros but still use the roder for sound effects and everything on the microphone side.
@@TheProvokedPrawnI think I figured it out from watching your virtual output video, tho that was with the steamer x from Roder. One last question if you don’t mind! When using steel series sonar chat for your microphone input on discord, etc. will it still be using the processing and settings you do for your mic on the roder duo?
This review is really helpful, but I wonder if I can use my Corsair Virtuoso XT headphones with a usb-c connection. I can't really find anything online about if you can or can't..
I would be wary of getting a go xlr, as they have laid off their team so the software is no longer getting updates. Because of this I got a duo and I recommend!

enable all of the faders you want to hear by pressing the green Ear icon. Make sure your mic does not have that highlighted

Could you use VM Banana to handle the virtual settings
Have they added the goxlr sampler function yet so you can instant record what ever is playing then instant replay from a touch of a button 👍

Yeah the logic would be the same
@@TheProvokedPrawnthank you for the fast reply. The A50x base doesn’t have a 3.5 aux to plug into the Duo so what would you use?

Yes it's an XLR cable
