Try to apply Mix minus in the routing settings for the usb you are sending to your friends

I have currently a BEACN Mix with a BEACN Mic. I want to go with a XLR Setup. Either with the AKG C214 (Streaming and Singing) or the Shure SM7B.
Im pretty unsure with the interface... should i get the Focusrite or something streamerfriendly like the Elgato Stream Deck + with the XLR Dock?
Keep in mind, i still have the BEACN MIX. So i have sub channels and all that. EQ etc all in the BEACN Software.

if I were you looking to upgrade I would wait and invest in a better interface with more inputs and processing like the RC Duo or Pro 2, or the Mackie DLZ I heard it is actually better for Singing / live performance

I've got the rodecaster duo; the issue I'm having is that you can hear the youtube video on the playback but during the live recording, my panelists "CAN NOT" hear the youtube stream playing.
I've followed multiple videos but I still can't hear anything; the funny thing is that if I play a .wmv file from my local pc, I can hear that without any problems.
    Any ideas are appreciated...

Which headphone is your panelist using ? Make sure you go to settings=outputs=routing=headphone they are using gets Main Mix, ( 1 or 2) that way they should get what you get in the headphones.

You completely screwed up describing the two USB connections on the device. USB 1 has the Main/Multitrack Mix AND USB Chat. USB 2 has the Secondary (Stereo Mix) of the device. The Virtual faders also allow you to use the smart pads, you just have the volume turned all the way down. Please provide some notes to correct this so that you are not providing incorrect information to folks who see your video.

Thanks for pointing that out. Yes I mentioned USB chat instead of USB Secondary... however this video is intended for beginners I like to keep it as simple as possible. Truth is I have never connected the second USB until recently loll Appreciate your feedback
