Hello their Joe I love to see that u brought out the Baby Benz from the cradle and into this great review. I absolutely love the way it pulls and the sound it makes when u stomp on the loud peddle. I love the rear end of the Benz especially the taillights. Would like to see a 2019 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 1 day. Thanks Joe.

Bonus info: That bulge on the rear, at the bottom by the license plate holder, the one that looks like a diaper due for a change, is only on the US versions. This is apparently a requirement from US authorities, as otherwise the car would not live up to the low speed impact damage criteria.

You right it is a coupé not a coupe. In Europe they use the word to distinguish between two car body types. Coupe like here in the States identifying a car with two doors. Coupé identifying a car with four doors with a sloping rear roof with an trunk. Coupé is also pronounced like saying coupe and pay together or like saying toupée with a Q. Just to let you know Joe.

Mercedes has some nice modern wood material that I would opt instead of gloss black which I am tired off. Overall Mercedes is making awesome cars.

Nice to see the return of the Inline 6 turbo. But agree that plastic engine cover needs to go. I want to see the valve cover and the turbo peeking.

It wins my approval although I'm echoing what you already stated which is that the roof needs to be blacked out & I like the wheels but would most likely look to upgrade them eventually. Other than that TAKE ME TO THE FINANCE OFFICE...SOLD!!!

Nice looking but a little too pricey for me. The engine cover is large enough to go sledding with or in your case Joe, use as a boogie board. The pieces on either side of the license plate look tacked on to accommodate our smaller license plates here in the U.S. instead of using a different bumper cover they went the cheap way. @@mmahtnart8986 We all have different needs & taste. The CLS may not be a good fit for you given your size, but for me on the other hand, I'am only 5' 7" & the CLS is perfect for my needs. I can understand given your size that you would put a premium on space. Who want's to be uncomfortable? The CLS I could see not being the ideal choice for you: sounds like you would be more comfortable in a Chevy Silverado or Ford 150 pick up truck, which by the way is very popular here in Southern Oregon! I for one tend to place a great emphasis on the interior quality of the vehicles I purchase. I'm almost sixty & I like a certain sophistication when it comes to vehicle interiors: Don't like cheap or plastic materials like the American cars used to be known for during the seventies & eighties. Akin to buying a house, where the exterior may not have much curb appeal, but when you walk through the front door your like WOW!!

The two really don’t compare at all. Not even in the same league as Mercedes. Mercedes technology alone alone is class leading.

I’m going to say it, the GT2 Stinger has more power, more torque, 0-60 under 5 seconds, and 30k less. At that point, you’re paying for the badge and a few more luxury amenities.

Big "ZONK" on exhaust tips. I'm surprised you didn't spend more time zonking those exhaust tips (this being a Mercedes). You just kind of did the "California Slide" past the exhaust tips.
I think because Mercedes is now putting fake exhaust pipes on their cars I gave them a pass. I will hold them more accountable on the next review!

I’m confused. It looks like the new CLA on the outside.....why. Not very smart. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference without looking at the inside. Even the headlights look like they are from the A class.

Yes, charging hundreds - even thousands - of dollars for things like Android or Apple, that Japanese and Korean manufacturers routinely include as standard on models costing far less than German cars; is just profit gouging, and is why I will never buy a German car.
