Sounds very familiar to the channels Al Bladez, Clean the City and one other that escapes me, but he's in the same area as the first two. They do lawns for free, (on the side of their paying day jobs of the same field). They do this to help those who needed it, be the person was real old or disabled, or just lost track of time for whatever xyz reason that does happen. My husband follows these people, along with Blade Mate Lawn Care, (which is an Aussie channel), because he's a former horticulturist and he's of the same mindset of helping people who deserve it, and doesn't do entitlement. I think they've (the channels) even called people out for entitlement.
The one who was replied to with, "I didn't know I was working with a Freelancer", should have replied back, "I didn't know I was dealing with a FREELOADER!" AND, why would you want a pre-teen (under 13 years old) teaching your children??? You want a babysitter to entertain your children and that costs around $10-12/per hour on average what I've read on the internet. How delusional is that woman?
That nanny offer is down right insulting. Especially when they want a pre teen! Unless they already have experience with siblings and happen to be a straight A student as you expect teaching too not just entertainment NO 11 or 12 year old should be put through that much expectation.
My very first babysitting gig was down the street for $1 an hour. I was eleven, had a kid brother so I was already the chosen free babysitter for my parents, knew how to change diapers and loved kids. It was fine but they had *5* kids, the youngest was a few months old. (Looking at you, Wise family!) I did this pretty regularly. The eldest boy was like 9 and did not care for being, 'babysat' but thankfully off on his bike most of the time. While there was no educational component- I guess more, 'just keep them alive', vibes, it was a lot of work. On the advice of my friend I hesitantly approached the mom and asked for a raise- wait for it- to $2 an hour. Stern-faced she replied that if I increased my rate she could no longer pay me. Like this was like 1988 but, oof. I found better families to work for. And hey in the end it led to my teaching career! I have one 11 year old and I would never employ a young child or teenager to watch her, much less throw tutoring into the mix! Not fair to the kid or safe for any involved, lol
My guess is they said preteen because they're the only ones dumb enough to think this is a good deal. And some haggard parent saying okay because it will keep them occupied for the summer and make a few bucks besides. She's doing nothing but taking advantage of people for her own benefit. What an absolute asshat!
@@teelakovacs208 $1 an hour for FIVE kids??? Even in 1988, that was slave labor! You should have been paid $1 per child, except maybe not the oldest one. Taking care of an infant is a huge responsibility and should have better compensation. I'm glad you found better work, and happy that you became a teacher. The best teachers are ones who genuinely love children. About 30 years ago I paid $75 a week for daycare, but I was bringing home less than $300 a week after taxes, so that was a big expense. There were some cheaper places, but I really liked this daycare, it was next door to the police department and the director had a master's degree in early child development and minored in psychology. She was wonderful! My son was kidnapped at 14 months old and missing for almost a year, captive of a seriously mentally ill person who abused him. My son loved cops because he remembered his rescue, so he felt safe there. There was a wonderful detective at that P.D. who was assigned to his case when he was missing, and his dedication lead to him being found. The detective stopped in sometimes to say "hi" which was a huge comfort to me and my son. If that daycare charged $100 a week, I would have found a way because his safety and well-being was my #1 priority. I often rode my bike to work to save gas money and carried bags on my bike to pick up recyclables.
@@teelakovacs208 $1 an hour for 5 kids, including an infant? And the mom had the nerve to get stern with you when you asked for more? Yikes! I started babysitting when I was 10 yrs old (in the 90s) and all the families I worked for paid me $10/hr. But it was still weird that they trusted me, a little girl, to care for their infants and toddlers. I was preparing bottles, putting kids down for naps, making dinner, giving baths...I have lots of younger siblings so I had experience, but I can't even imagine hiring a 5th grader to do all that now 😂

“Waiting for my Father in Heaven…” She’s waiting for God Himself to send her someone to deep-clean her house for free. Didn’t expect that from someone from Mount Druitt…
I couldn't help laughing at the confusion. That's such a Mormon phrase, and a lot of people don't seem to get it. I don't know if any other belief systems use it.
That lady looking for a slave for the summer scared me. It's not just the entitlement, it's how little she thinks that prospective kid's time is worth. From a 'small business owner' (MLM?) you can already imagine what she treats anyone that dares work with her like.
Plus, she wanted an 11-12 yr old kid to teach reading, writing, math, and science--that's what a teaching professional does and not for $50 a week. How about sending the kids to daycare or camp and let them have off from school for the summer?
I used to charge $1,000 a week for a deep clean. Whole house inside DEEP clean. Clean inside the drawers, organize them, etc. NEVER for free! This was 20 years ago too!
There's actually a lovely soul here on youtube that, in her home country, she cleans her follower's houses for free. She's an absolute angel, but she only does it for those who are struggling, and really need the help.
Regarding the person wanting Someone to pay $250 a week to stay in their flat and watch their cat, this is actually a really good deal! My husband is British so I can tell just By how he worded this that this is a British couple. I was just in the British seaside this past summer and can tell you from 1st hand experience it is very expensive to get a hotel or even an airbnb in the seaside. $250 a week breaks out to be about $35 a night so to have Is a holiday in the seaside for that price is very good! I would definitely pay that and it would be a bonus to have the cat lol
Except it’s during winter, so unless you just wanted away to recover from a surgery or write a book or take winter seaside photos, maybe not. But yeah, offer it as trade or Airbnb!♥️✌️
Yeah, except those prices drop so hard in the winter. This is still a good deal but the wording wasn’t exactly ideal. Also they didn’t mention how nearly every business will be closed and the places open are on the pricier side like markets to remain in open in the winter. It’s a bit misleading
She has the vibe of "everybody's good friend" like ... I feel like we could all have some kind of genuine conversation with her. She doesn't try to be an "influencer" lol
Nothing makes our dear potato queen Charlotte incandescent with rage as someone asking a photographer to work for free or pay for photographing the entitled person . She becomes "Dread Queen Dobre" .
As I've started getting into photography, I have not only gotten people asking me to do stuff for free, but others saying I need to do it for exposure & practice.
The house cleaning one. There is at least on category of people that would watch a live-stream like this: Burglars. Makes their life easier when it comes to planning🤣
I mean....there's a whole niche on TT of people who watch house cleaning videos and a woman on here who helps clean houses for free for those who suffer from depression. I can't think of anyone who went live cleaning out someone's house, though lol
That's the most bizarre thing. I'd like to see the other person go to their job and ask to be paid for their services. They probably would react as I'm imaging.
Ive noticed some of Charlotte's friends take advantage of her generosity. When i was younger i was afflicted with this personality defect as well. At the risk of sounding vain, i knew that i was a little bit smarter than most people and felt i had an unfair advantage, so i would over compensate by footing the bill on group activities. But when i fell on hard times, only a rare few were there for me. As a consequence i put everyone to the test, and many failed. Ironically i found better and more solid friends amongst my daughters freinds of the next generation. Superb young people. Respect is a two way street.
Ahhhh... Photographer gets PAID to shoot their wedding?!?!! I can't! I started watching your videos during my rebuilding phase after I escaped DV. Life is different now and I run a nonprofit helping other victims and survivors. Oh do I have a story now... We get small donations to help if someone needs emergency shelter before a shelter opens, if a shelter isn't available, kennel expenses and even travel when needed. I had someone try and take my entire organization down because we would not approve $1500 so that she could fly a side boyfriend to her home while the husband was on a trip. Before anyone freaks, we had established that there was no abuse present. She openly admitted that she just didn't like her husband.
WTH?!!!! The audacity of that person! Girl continue doing your work the world NEEDS people like you!! DV is not a joke or a small thing we need to fight together for the victims
Wait, you're supposed to pay photographers who shoot your wedding?! And I guess you're supposed to pay the caterer and baker at the reception? What kind of mad world are we living in??!!!
I'm hoping to buy a decent sized house and help young adults get away from abusive family environments before they do anything rash because I was in that situation a couple years ago. keep up the good work, we need more people to do this! love and luck to you my dear.
As someone who has been in a few DV situations and been to a DV shelter that helped me get settled I am livid!! Who does she think she is abusing a valuable resource like this??! Wow at that first video! 😲 What a lot of responsibility for a preteen - even if the pay was good! This is not only entitled, but an example of very poor parenting choices too. A pre-teen doesn't have the skills needed to either teach or protect 3 even younger children. Plus, the poor kids are spending 6hrs a day following their normal school routine - during summer holidays! That's got to be hard on any kid...

"I am in Mt. Druitt" IS ALL YOU NEEDED TO SEE. Mt. Druitt is one of Australia's worst suburbs for violence, gangs, drugs and basically everything else that's probably illegal or unethical. There was an entire TV show about that area called "Housos".
Love ❤️ the idea that even after so many entitled videos, Charlotte had the optimism to think that that lady ment $500. You sweet summer child 😚, for 500 she'd want at least a Master degree in education or childhood development, with 5 to 10 years of experience and a Michelin star quality food for her 3 offsprings. That’s what you’d pay for someone who spent seven to eights years for those qualifications? She’s asking for a teacher DAYS A WEEL. HOW MUCH DO YOU GET PAID A WEEK AND DO YOU HAVE THAT,KIND,OF,EDUCATION. Karen I thought not. Your three children are worth nothing to you and you want if for basically free. Grow up.

I hope that person going to Thailand realizes that if they do that, it's subletting. They then officially have a renter and that person does NOT have to leave when they return without them having to go through eviction processes. In the end it would be more trouble than it's worth so...
That really depends on the local rules and also how you set it up - around here, you can put the arrangement on paper with the end date, and the sublet would automatically end by the end date. Where do renters have rights to stay forever after a temporary (sub)let?
Teaching 3 kids for 6 hours a day and 5 days a week is 30 hours; paying $50 for 30 hours work is just $1.66 per hour. Sorry, Amber, you missed your chance with the Emancipation Proclamation!
The first one... Where they ask that the photographer just pay a small fee to work... That could also be filed under "Nothing but the audacity." Actually, most of these could qualify for both categories. Unbelievable. Can't believe how many narcissistic people are really out there 😭
Just so you know. That "free deep clean" one is from Mount Druitt, which is a particularly scummy suburb of Sydney, Australia. The deep clean, is probably to clean up a crime scene.

Maybe they can hire some idiot who wants to do a RUclips video to deep clean a house!!!!!!!!
I've actually heard about this a few years ago. You would pay to feed cats or dogs while people went out of town. Typically though the people would live in a home people would travel to the area for vacation. For example say if I wanted to go Florida near the beach. I would find someone (on app or whatever) that is going on vacation the time I would and instead of me booking a hotel or air bnb I would "house sit" and pay. I would save money by not spending as much as a hotel or air bnb and the person would have someone to feed or walk their pet 2 times a day. It's not like you would have to spend the whole time in the house. They get a pet sitter I get affordable tooming for vacation.
I... I would watch a cleaning video xD The satisfaction of seeing a place really dirty get superclean is just *chefs kiss*. There are actually channels/lives where people do it for free but usually for people who are unable for any reason to do it themselves. It's just satisfying for me lol.

When I was a teenager in the 70s, I used to babysit for $1 an hour! But that was in the 70s!
I was preparing bottles, putting kids down for naps, making dinner, giving baths...I have lots of younger siblings so I had experience, but I can't even imagine hiring a 5th grader to do all that now 😂
Charlotte officially is the most adorable crazy person driving a van ever. Just the delivery of the "I'll bring my army of animal puppets to entertain your children for free!" and the fact that her face both screams "crazy" and "I can't hurt anyone even if I tried" is fantastic. 😂

Well she can't pay because the Centrelink cheque hasn't come through yet.

Lots of religious peeps in Mt Druitt these days.
We loved the extra face time at the end 🤣🤣🤣 That face is laughing WITH you...not AT you. We love you!
Yes it’s at least double now, and like 3-6k for a hoard.
@@justkiddin84 Wow!
There's actually a lovely soul here on youtube that, in her home country, she cleans her follower's houses for free. She's an absolute angel, but she only does it for those who are struggling, and really need the help.
Loved Charlotte doing math! So intense, so epic.
It was tooo funny
Regarding the person wanting Someone to pay $250 a week to stay in their flat and watch their cat, this is actually a really good deal! My husband is British so I can tell just By how he worded this that this is a British couple. I was just in the British seaside this past summer and can tell you from 1st hand experience it is very expensive to get a hotel or even an airbnb in the seaside. $250 a week breaks out to be about $35 a night so to have Is a holiday in the seaside for that price is very good! I would definitely pay that and it would be a bonus to have the cat lol
I kind of agree. If they were framing it as a “Hey, $250/week for this destination AirBnb with a cat!” then I’d probably be on board.
Except it’s during winter, so unless you just wanted away to recover from a surgery or write a book or take winter seaside photos, maybe not. But yeah, offer it as trade or Airbnb!♥️✌️
Me too. Great deal
I was thinking the same
Yeah, except those prices drop so hard in the winter. This is still a good deal but the wording wasn’t exactly ideal. Also they didn’t mention how nearly every business will be closed and the places open are on the pricier side like markets to remain in open in the winter. It’s a bit misleading
"borderline slavery" oh my goodness i cant stop laughing. your reacts are always my fave charlotte. i love it!

Ahahaha!!! The Mount Druitt one- from Sydney here- no one from Mt Druitt is ok.
Nothing makes our dear potato queen Charlotte incandescent with rage as someone asking a photographer to work for free or pay for photographing the entitled person . She becomes "Dread Queen Dobre" .
"The Crimson Furry"
As I've started getting into photography, I have not only gotten people asking me to do stuff for free, but others saying I need to do it for exposure & practice.
HAHAHAHAHA!! That was wonderful .... "what do you mean the camera is still on!?!?!?" Just wonderful
The house cleaning one. There is at least on category of people that would watch a live-stream like this: Burglars. Makes their life easier when it comes to planning🤣
Did anyone else read about "waiting patiently for a housework routine ...." before Charlotte got there and waited patiently for her expression?
I mean....there's a whole niche on TT of people who watch house cleaning videos and a woman on here who helps clean houses for free for those who suffer from depression. I can't think of anyone who went live cleaning out someone's house, though lol
@@WhisperinAngel I love watching that lady’s vids, it’s so satisfying to see her bring a filthy house to beautifully clean.

I'm glad you were able to create the nonprofit to help, I'm so sorry that happened to you, and proud that you could channel it in such a way!

What a lot of responsibility for a preteen - even if the pay was good!
Also a pre-teen would be barely older than her oldest

I hope that person going to Thailand realizes that if they do that, it's subletting. They then officially have a renter and that person does NOT have to leave when they return without them having to go through eviction processes. In the end it would be more trouble than it's worth so...
Very good point!
That really depends on the local rules and also how you set it up - around here, you can put the arrangement on paper with the end date, and the sublet would automatically end by the end date. Where do renters have rights to stay forever after a temporary (sub)let?
