Joe Cocker great artist from the same city as me Sheffield. Watched him in several pubs and clubs before he became famous. I also had a drink and a chat with him in the Shades nightclub, just before he went to the US and sang at Woodstock. A great guy sadly missed in his home city.

Everyone of my age has seen him performing at Woodstock on TV or u -tube or god knows where. But for me , seeing him in concert in Kelowna, BC, Canada 20 or so years later was the best experience of my life. Everyone of my age has seen him performing at Woodstock on TV or u -tube or god knows where. But for me , seeing him in concert in Kelowna, BC, Canada 20 or so years later was the best experience of my life. That voice makes me feel like life is worth living & I hope everyone who hears him feels the same way.

Joe Cocker was just awesome! Phenomenal! Loved his voice, raspy, warm, honest and soulful! Never met him but deem him to be a beautiful individual. I missed his singing. Was a shock to hear of his passing. He's definitely missed. And I love his songs but this one..... no words! Astronomical!! And his singers, musicians!!!!!!...fantabulous!!!!

Cocker's style & gravelly voice was very distinctive! He seemed to be struggling to deliver & I always thought he would get a heart attack at any minute in his performance!
