Dude, did you bring back some of my best memories as you drove to get fuel. Thank you so much! I drove for a majority of my career before retirement. The best job ever. Your cam angle made me feel as if I was driving. Actually got a little emotional. I would give my right eye to drive a fire truck again. One part of my bucket list that can only be a dream as health issues say no. I can't even get into my car. After I retired I purchased a 1970 Mack cf685f ex Raleigh Fire Department. Did weddings for a few firefighters and the kids thing as well. Sold it a time ago. Ken
Glad it brought back some good memories! I've gotten a few requests for more driving videos so I will be doing a few more of those. Make sure your subscribed so you can catch them when I post em
Finding this channel is the best thing that’s happened to me this month... this dude is sick!!!!! Love the builds bro cant wait to see how the new ladder truck turns out
Just saw this, AWESOME MAN! You should open up the water tank and have a mobile swimming pool for the kids! Or show the fair goers how a fire should be put out with the water pump running at full capacity! Water slide for the kids at fairs? Dunk tank at fairs? Add a little foam to the mix and make a foam swimming pool? Hey, STOP rolling coal! You should turn the exhaust up and add some fire for the pulls! VERY COOL!
Love that amazing sound when accelerating and upshifting through the gears, so satisfying! Have you done any long driving on this amazing beast yet? I haven't seen any yet. Please let me know ASAP.
I swear I’ve saw that truck before in a driveway, guessing it was probably your house, when I drove truck. I’m trying so hard to remember where cuz I took a pic as I was passing and I was on the phone with a friend telling him about it when I saw it!
I live in Alberta in Western Canada. My city's department had a few E-One Dash rear engine pumpers with 6v92 Detroits. I only saw the 8v92s with a Pierce Quint, an Oshkosh L-1838, and some Oshkosh crash trucks.
What ya could do for that 1st step is to make a chain step like on big construction equipment. Gives you a closer step to the ground but won't get destroyed offroading
I wonder what a turbo intercooler would do for it? I’m guessing it is a big-flow low-pressure turbo, so maybe nothing. *have to poke a probe in there to find out :o) Absolutely ace truck ^-^
Cool cool firetruck cool cool build really like it also really like ur astro too so would like to build a astro or safari oh and when cold starting a diesel turn the key on 4 frew seconds to a few minutes be4 turn the engine on this will allow the glow plugs to warm up be4 starting also u can add a glow plug warmer and warmer pigtail to it this is y u see while in service they r plugged up to extension cords in the fire stations same as ambulances really really like this wow ur doing a good job at ur builds keep walking tall prayers 4 yall bless great healthy peaceful safe journeys travels and happy camping also as 4 ur steps getting in to the truck army surplus they have those extra cable steps that gives u extra step to get in and out with on their trucks this may help u with ur truck just idea cool cool happy camping and happy building keep on making vids 🚐⛺🌌🌄🏞👍👍💪🙂👍👍
Can you tell me what model transfer case you have? I have a GMC C7000 4x4 53” tires and I’m picking up an 8v92 with Jakes I wanna add if I can. Just wondering what case would handle the torque
Awesome looking rig, I have driven/ been riding in various E-One rigs, but not one with 4wd, were you able to do the lift with blocks?, or spring?, any fender trimming to fit those tires?
@@owensweetland342 I agree, at the end of the day it's his truck and he can do whatever he wants with it but what it is currently is so different and interesting. A camper could be had with more common options rather than ruining what is amazing about this old E-One.
Excellent work and creations . Keep up the Great things your doing

What a great (Fire) Truck 🚒
Finding this channel is the best thing that’s happened to me this month... this dude is sick!!!!! Love the builds bro cant wait to see how the new ladder truck turns out
Technically, it's not a firetruck orafire engine, it's a fire apparatus. She is GORGEOUS nonetheless
I've seen this parked on 54. I'd love to get a ride in it. Been building fire trucks for 24 years
That would be an awesome structure truck for a volunteer fire department out in middle of no where
A firetruck that will go anywhere 💪..
Update the lights please 😅
Straight piped to hear all those bald eagles!
I was watching Deboss Garage.. Said hey know that truck! I drive by it all the time.
If you know you know!

What department did you purchase this from? It’s the same color scheme as one of our area departments.

The E-One rear engine was the "Hush" not the "Dash." "Dash" is a front engine Pierce product.
@@DowntownDeuce2 My mistake.
Still needs a class B to drive it

Simply awesome.
Thank you! Cheers!
Sweet rig!!

Don’t get rid of that front pumper bub

It actually does not have one, the rear axle has a power divider that sends power back to the front axle
Oh I see ok. Very cool thank you! I think I’m gonna try for a 6v92 but that’s interesting I’ll have to consider that option

Did you take any videos of it out at the quarry?
No! Was so busy I don't have anything from that day
Gonna ruin it when he makes it a camper.
how so?
@@checkersgarage744 campers are a dime a dozen with ex-rigs. Badass firetruck pulling sleds? Can't beat it.

@@rebornROCKERSS I agree wholeheartedly. It's his rig. My shortcoming is thinking that I know what is best. Thanks for your reply.
