Amazing catches! This is your best compilation of the year hands down! Don’t see too many videos of semi tankers responding!
Thank you so much!! This was the first time I caught one in all the years of me filming, and I got 3 in the same day!
This is best video on fire trucks and people who are driving to the fire
@@johnmckenzie8522 thank you so much!
Yyyyyyyyyyyyy
J@@demonracer2
that old Mack looks incredible with the updated LED lights. great catches!
Thank you so much!
Those old Macks were holding it down. Love that!
Great video. Love those old Mack’s. Don’t see many for fire departments anymore!
Thank you so much!
@@demonracer2 Made sure to subscribe!! Love these shots
@@mintyman1968 thank you so much! Every like and subscription mean so much

OMG THOSE MACK'S
I GOT CHILLS
WOW!!! Super cool catch! Great video!!
Thank you!!
That is one old mack truck. I'm guessing late 50s early 60s
Let alone the decom there is also a semi
You know its bad when the tankers roll
Lots of water
Not sure where this is but here if lights are on on the highway siren has to be on here. It's either lights and siren or no lights or siren
New Jersey
Nice job. Would have liked to know the Jersey shore units by name. Am from the shore but live in Washington state now
Units in the video were from Howell and Wall Townships!
I started my firefighter career in Marlboro fire company. Third generation. USAF firefighter 21 yrs. Boeing firefighter 24 yrs. And to think it all started in 1974. God Lord willing will finish in 2023. 49 yrs.
@@tdore5794 First thank you for your service. I did six years in the US AF in Vietnam. 67-73.
I have never seen tankers like this used for fire fighting. My home burnt down September 2021. It went all the way to the ground due to lack of water. Our fire department only has a 1000 gallon tanker. Needless to say a total loss, still trying to work with the insurance company.
Amazing catches
Why are they running no siren after a certain point?
Had the survey hope you get more views
Thank you so much for your support!
The Glendola Ladder Truck has four vertical lights on the passenger side of the cab, from top down they’re green, blue, yellow and red. Do they serve some purpose or are they just emergency lights? They don’t seem to be on as the truck is going down the road. Just curious if they mean something if anybody knows.
Good question! They do serve a purpose. Those lights gauge approximately how much water is left in the onboard tank, so if a crew is operating away from the truck they could look back to see if they have 1/2 or a 1/4 tank of water left etc
@@demonracer2 thank you!
Please explain their numbering system for the apparatus
Sure thing I would love to! For Monmouth county the first number is the “district” each town is designated a district number, the second is the station within the district, and the last number is the unit type, which here is the explanation of each.
30-32 - Fire Marshals
66 - Chief
67-68 - Assistant Chief
69-71 - Other Fire Officer
72-74 - Attack Engine (Pumper)
75-84 - Class A Engine (Pumper)
85-88 - Rescue/Salvage
89-92 - Aerial Ladder/Tower Ladder
93-94 - Brush Truck
95-97 - Tanker
98-99 - Support Unit
So for example the first truck in the video was 52-2-90 52(Wall Township)-2(station 2)-90(ladder)
Other towns in the county like long branch or Asbury Park only have one station so they skip the middle number for simplicity and will just response as 25-74 or 83-89. Hope this helps!
Please don't just like my statement... No my cry for everyone's help I don't want to be liked by internet zombies I want to be heard there's no such thing as food shortages if we all just become heroes and not for just one day
😂❤
That's a lot of big rig fire trucks responding
It sure was!
This is better than porn!
need new cars there is so old lol
If it works, don't fix it.
I mean if they ran out of fire truck tanker truck will work
This is your year Mark, can’t wait to see what other lucky catches you’ll get !
Thank you! And you are correct 2022 has been really good to me so far!
I grew up in a short (and basically elderly) staffed rural VFD, and the tanker support almost brought a tear to my eye.
Those tractor trailer tankers are really cool !
I thought I saw a couple of Millstone Twp rigs
1:31 I like the engine sound
Love seeing those R model Macks
The too, thanks for watching!
HEAR HEAR!!!!!
I had no idea these emergency tankers existed. Never seen such a thing here in Europe. Under which circumstances would they be called upon?
We have somthing similar in Australia used for supporting firetrucks when there is no mains or easy drafted water supply
They are typically only used in areas with no fire hydrants to supply attack engines with water
Mack r models still hard at work half a century later
Thanks for watching!
That Adelphia Mack is so badass.
It sure is!
From 1:32 to 1:50 that was some great camera work right there!
Appreciate that!
They deserve alot of credit let's stop and honor and appreciate the paramedics and firemen and police who proudly serve us your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks don't work to hard appreciate you guys thanks you guys rock way to go stay safe and warm out there job well done you should be amazed and proud ❤❤😂😅 !! Joe
Man I would love to see some detailed walk around videos of those tractor drawns! We don't have anything like that in Ky (at least nothing anywhere close to where I am in north central Ky) and they have always fascinated me.
This is a fantastic compilation! That Kenworth tanker is an oddball, with square headlights on what otherwise looks like a T800. Thumbs up!
Thank you so much for the support!
It's a T800W (For wide hood). It has a larger radiator than a regular T800. They are used a lot for heavy haul work.
@@donrobbie5528 I appreciate you telling me that! Always love learning new rig models
Awesome! Fire Depts go the extra 100 miles all of the time, to save lives and property. 😀😃🙂🙃😊
They sure do!
What an awesome channel man you even put your camera in the description! That's awesome! You got my subscription.
Thank you so much! And welcome to the channel, happy to have you
You could probably make the next outro with nothing but clips from this video.
I also just added so many rigs to my photo list. Great video! Thanks!
Hahaha you got that right! And me too, sadly there are not many drivers who can drive the TDS and some are due to be replaced soon
@@demonracer2 well that figures. All the ones I want to see are always on borrowed time. Oh well
DUUUUUUUDE THOSE R-Series Macks 🤤🤤🤤
They sure are sharp!
Wish 16-1-96 was never sold.
Me too, sadly Tractors are becoming a thing of the past around here
@@demonracer2 our biggest issue at 16-1, was getting the older guys to teach us at least pay for a few guys to get their CDL but the old rules applied. We would have had about 6 new drivers or more. They did it to themselves. Should never had gotten rid of that piece. Was an important part of the Tanker Task Force. Rather have 6000 to 8000 gals per truck than less than 5000
@@demonracer2 I was with 16-1 from 90-93, 96-2000, 2002 to 2004. We always asked to learn. but we were always told no. Meanwhile, I left joined and joined The Marines, git certified on heavy equipment and still wasn't allowed to learn when I came back. Stubbornness killed our needs
I'm trying to reach out to other RUclips communities and start a movement a huge and good one heroes are more important than anyone can imagine they are always need respected and loved unfortunately a lot of people just aren't smart enough to figure out a simple solution to the worldly weather events horrible ones any time there's a disaster people voluntarily come to the rescue ok with that being said places are flooding places are drying out and places on fire disasters everywhere why hasn't anyone rounded up a convoy or a massive fleet of tanker trucks with pumps and hoses go to these flooded lands at a safe zone fill up your tanks save those people then go to the dry and burning lands and unload could also fix our climate by restabilizing broken lands and it's people all together
I’m
Guessing some of that doesn’t get out much! One of your best ever!!
Definitely some rare catches, thanks for watching!
One of my favorite videos!
Where I am from in Ohio yellow revolving lights mean hazmat
Epic Video Demon Racer, seeing the old mack @1:32 was awesome, RL ? maybe, anyhow have subscribed to your channel, watching from New Zealand

Dear lord that is a lot of gallons of water.

Damn, i wish we had those cool firetrucks in the Netherlands
How many gallons of water does each tractor drawn tanker hold
Awesome catches
Thank you!
My 3 year old loves this! I play this for him. He loves fire trucks, police cars, planes and trains! Thanks for the video!
So happy to hear, hopefully he enjoys the rest of the channel, thanks for watching!
Hey everyone do those semi fire trucks got a cb radio like what all the other truck drivers got that’s on channel 19 ?
If the department trucks spent alot of time or work near a major highway then they most likely would have CB radios, but if they usually only travel within their fire jurisdiction then they would only have their regular fire equipment radios
Some nice old Mack's and how cool are those 18 wheelers with all the emergency lights on them 🎉
They are very unique!
That’s a lot of water
It sure was
I love how he honked for you at 2:16 😄🚒
It takea alot of skill to drive a tanker fast.
Ladder Truck 89 is an awesome bit of kit, as well as the huge tankers.
It sure is sharp, it was my first video of 89
Amazing catches!
Nice work👍🚒
Thanks!
I love old fire. Trucks
Now that’s a heavy load.
Great video! Very cool to see those super tankers!
We run 3 tankers now in Kinnelon (Morris County NJ)
Thank you so much!
@@demonracer2 you're welcome
It would b nice to c the name of the fire dept where the trucks come from
Glendola fire company, Squankum fire, Adelphia fire, west belmar fire, freewood acres fire, ramtown fire.
Wow nice vehicles and trucks is my fav
Thank you!
Best dang vantage point to watch all the apparatuses parade by
Thank you so much! I had to drive back and forth a few times to catch all the units!
Mutual aid is a marvelous thing to see!
It sure is!
Great job! 19 1 2 4 5 and 52 2 hitting it.
Thank you! I knew you would appreciate this one!
Just an odd question. I live in the western US, so I don't know much about laws on the east coast. What are the rules about sirens? I see almost all the apparatus shut audible warning devices down about the same point. Were they entering a protected area or something like that? As I said, I am just curious.
I do like seeing the various apparatus you catch. Thanks for the videos.
I was standing about a half a mile from the scene, sadly the tractor drawn tankers were coming from a very low populated area next to an airport and commercial properties so low traffic flow so none of them except the Chief were using sirens pulling up
I'm in Maryland in a small rural farm community. I can't see their view down the road, but I would imagine, like us, they only run the sirens in areas that need it (around populated areas, intersections and side streets).
Driver discretion for the most part, I personally use them at little as possible. If there’s nobody to move, what’s the point? With enough sight range, the lights do most of the clearing. Chirp the siren, if clearing an intersection, but don’t overdo it.
@@jaysmith1408 I always appreciate them over doing it when I’m filming 😜
Awesome Catches!
Thank you so much!
I love big rig fire trucks!
Same here!
Amazing!
Thanks!
