Honestly I have PTSD, and I've been in a happy loving marriage for 4 years now, and we just welcomed a beautiful baby girl. But I still wake up sometimes screaming, crying, or hitting and am not aware of my surroundings. Because the trauma dosen't just go away. AND GUESS WHAT? Saying, "My heart goes out to you." to abuse victims and then treating abuse as a joke dosen't magically make it go away either.
I'm glad you're in a healthy relationship and I hope you're able to see a therapist to help work through and maybe lessen thr trauma a little.

As a survivor of severe abusive relationshipS (plural) I am so disgusted by this. I have been dealing with a shit load of PTSD and the first thing I can say is that I don't think the contents of the videos is what took me off guard (it sure did, but not enough to awaken a form of fight or flight) but rather the lack of knowledge and empathy that is shown towards survivors. Setting a milestone for other couple vloggers to make these videos and therefore creating a chain is also my biggest problem with this.
As youtube goes, taking insipiration or straight up copying popular videos I am worried of the amount of money the whole "Abusive relationship prank" branch has made as a whole.
Please, for anyone watching this wanting to help: donate to a trustable charrity to help people who have been through the hell that it is, and to recover aswell. If you know of a friend or family going through this: don't be afraid to speak up. Domestic violence is something that is way too common.
And to everyone who had survived like me, you are STRONG and you are SO MUCH MORE WORTH then what you were told you were! Stay nice in the response section, and also remember: physical violence isn't always the definition of an abusive relationship.

I'm really sorry you (and anyone else whose experienced this) had to go through that, it's really upsetting to see people make videos about abuse like this use it not to raise awareness or anything to let people know how serious it is and not show empathy towards survivors, and I totally agree with your comment. People downplaying how serious a abusive relationship actually is just breaks my heart. I wish my abuse was a prank. Being belittled, thrown around and slapped over and over to to ground. The severe amount abuse I went through caused physical injuries that will affect me for the rest of my life. Abuse is no fucking joke and shit like those prank videos are one of the many reasons why domestic abuse doesn't get the attention it needs. Thank you for talking about this

My main problem w all “prank” vloggers is that they don’t use the number one rule of pranks, confuse don’t abuse and abuse is literally what these four are doing, so sad to see content creators who’s content is aimed at kids endorsing this kinda shit and only “regretting” it once they get backlash, we all know that these videos and the SA one would still be up and monetised if it weren’t for the hate they got
They just see what's trending and don't bother thinking about how it'll affect anyone else, like normalizing abuse, these people don't need a RUclips platform they need to go to a media literacy and critical thinking class

I have bad breakouts. I'm a girl who wears makeup. You know what helped my acne and stopped me breaking out? Washing my face 2 times a day, taking off my makeup before bed, and giving my skin breaks aka not wearing makeup if I don't have to go out.
He probably also doesn't eat very well. I'd assume fast food, mostly unhealthy snacks. If you're not getting the right nutrition, or drinking enough water, you're more prone to break out.
He's doing it to himself and then when someone points out how orange he is, he pulls out 'oh I'm insecure about my acne' but putting fake tan over acne? Yeah thats gonna cause more acne, and it's gonna be more painful that usual.

If his reason for the tan is acne, he should honestly try not wearing tan for a while. His pores will be so unbelievably clogged under that. It needs to breathe, good skin care, and makeup with good ingredients. I get acne - it sucks. I have 3 big cysts on my forehead alone right now and they hurt like hell. But if I were to tan like that, I’d be breaking out like mad.
Have you tried putting something cold on your forehaed, it numb the pain a little and it help with the swelling
