I'm just imagining this video but with the woman just getting progressively madder that he won't believe her. "Love, what's wrong?" "Nothing!" "What's wrong??" "I said nothing!" "Love, what is it, what's wrong?" "Okay, now what's wrong is that you won't leave me alone"
@@tamirisgaelzer1902To be fair though, I've seen a lot of people call certain kinks crimes even when they are consensually done by two adults... Not liking or getting something doesn't make it illegal or a crime for others to do 😅
15:15 Guns are shockingly painfully loud, you can feel one firing nearby in your chest like a subwoofer, but most recording equipment just can't capture that or play it back. So we get Pwop Pwop Pwop in videos. Oh the sharp ring is the bullet hitting steel targets. That's also quite loud.
I have a cat who hates being held due to trauma from when she was a kitten, and even when I have to hold her for some reason out of necessity (to clip her nails, or take her to the vet, or give her meds, etc), she never ever tries to scratch or bite me like that. For a cat to react that violently with someone, that's an indication of a bad relationship with your cats, especially if more than one of them are reacting that way.
15:55 I don't think people understand how bad this is. The sound of their bell is enough to give cats extreme stress and anxiety. My cats will leave the room if we're speaking too loud, let alone yelling. Cats ears are so sensitive, holding a cat up to your face and screaming would not just distress a cat, it would unbearably painful and overstimulating. Neither of the cats in that video are responding poorly, literally any cat would react like that. The fact that he has done this so many times he has enough less than 1 minute shorts to create a 35 minute long video is not just bad pet ownership, it is physical and psychological abuse.
No, Kurtis, it's not just you. Those videos were creepy as hell. I think I had a DV PTSD flashback from the video where he keeps saying "love, what's wrong" and there's a sudden closeup of her face where it doesn't look like she's crying, it looks like she's terrified. The way he keeps moving closer and not accepting the "nothing's wrong" answer just seemed so similar to an abuser dialing up for violence if they don't get the answer they want, so she breaks down with the "I just need you" bullshit to try to placate him. THAT is how that video reads to me- nothing sweet or endearing about it at all. Combine that with the horrifying stalker break-in video and the cat torture and I'm getting giant waving red flags with apocalypse sirens wailing. It makes me very worried for all the commenters yearning for this.
As a lifelong Fighty Dude, “shaking hands” thing is like the same as “I see red” and is the biggest goofball fallacy of all time. The comments on that video are hilarious

8:14 On a bit of a serious note, my grandma always told my mother to never fight a scared person. One reason being this, if they feel physically vulnerable it's going to trigger a bad fight or flight; either they're going to do ANYTHING to win, or ANYTHING to get away.
I was told something similar: A scared dog is more dangerous than a confident dog. A confident one feels like he's the bigger threat and has no reason to fight back as hard because he doesn't fear you, so he's not going to be as dangerous as one who thinks he literally has to fight to save his life.
@@Mienarrr There are certain people who "get scared" in fight or flight situations. That they have both reactions at the same time, thus a "scared" person. Someone who will fight because they have to but will do almost anything to get away. It's more like one of those things where you least expect it. Sorta like those people who cry when they're mad, too much unexpected emotion at one time.
The breaking into his ex’s house one and all the comments being like “this is so hot, you can break into my house anytime” is the perfect example of pretty privilege. If an unattractive person made the same vid, the comments would be like “ew! That’s so creepy”
It's definitely still creepy if attractive people do it, but you can tell those comments are from people who've never had a scary/abusive ex; treating it like a kinky roleplay (in a public comment section) instead of some people's worst nightmare is, uh, interesting, let's say.
@@AgentPilot That always baffles me so much. These people are so far removed from the situation that for them it becomes a kind of scenario that only happens in fiction. Like being bitten by a werewolf or some crap, not like the real nightmare it is that certain people have to endure every day.

I'm so glad we're hating on the cat videos, I remember them being SO viral and all the comments were laughing while I was genuinely grossed out by how that poor cat was treated
I remember a year or so ago I left a comment on one of his cat singing shorts like "it seems like your cats are super uncomfortable around you" and I was assaulted with comments saying I know nothing about cats or cat ownership. I even had a few saying all cats acted like this and boy did they hate when I said "yeah when they're abused" 😂
I always worry when people say that. I have friends that initially were scared of cats, because every cat they knew acted that way and when they saw how chill my cats are they started to actually like cats and thought differently about the owners of previous cats
9:26 I can confirm that Kurtis wears a mask everywhere he goes because once I asked for an autograph at vidcon and he just pulled out a batman mask and said "Gotham City needs me" and flew away. I never did get that autograph, but at least now I know that batman can fly.
The thing that cracks me up about “book tock” is that those people have been around FOREVER! It’s just that they JUST NOW discovered the internet, anyone who’s grandmother or mom read any of those kind of books, they were one of them😂😂

You can literally hold my cat like a baby and the most she'll do is a give a surprised "merp!". There's something seriously wrong if his own cats are reacting to him to such a ferocious degree. Not to mention screaming into their ears probably hurts quite a bit, and i guarantee isn't helping.
exactly! and even if he got his cats and they had previous experiences that left them aggressive (like past abuse or being feral) he shouldn't be forcing them into his arms like that! they're so uncomfortable. one of mine is feisty especially when picked up and i don't force her to be held unless it's needed or she wants it.
fr, I'll take the Colleen Hoover recommendations that I'll never listen to mixed in with actual good books over whatever the hell is happening rn. it's just 13 year Olds reading the worst pieces of literature and screaming about how iconic it is.

the irony of the people who like these types of videos like they're not the biggest red flags in the world being like "why can't i find love" well girl.....😭
The amount of women who don’t seem to understand that some of these things are GLARING red flags is astounding to me…almost makes me feel like women just walk right into abuse situations willingly 🤷♀️ just sayin
@@christinathein951Honestly never seems to amaze me how they want that shit without knowing the consequences but human is human in core with stupidity...
@@christinathein951 I don't think women are taught well what things are red flags to be honest. Like look at most spicy romances aimed at women. It is a lot of men not respecting women's boundaries early on and abusing some position of power over them only for the woman to eventually fall in love with their soft side or something. Narratives which support unhealthy relationship dynamics are constantly reproduced in media. And I think most of his audience is probably younger women or girls who haven't yet realized that that stuff is toxic through experience. I feel like its not that women walk in to these situations "willingly", but rather they walk in thinking that toxic behaviour is normal, expected, or deserved (if any red flags are actually present at the start and don't only come out later on which is a pretty common thing too). It can also be hard to notice things when you are in a vulnerable state or on the high of being noticed and liked by someone. I am a lesbian, but before I figured that out I thought I was bi and started dating a guy almost twice my age when I was barley out of HS. I was in a bad place health wise and craving stability and had been rejected by every girl I'd ever liked so when some charming guy came around and offered me that and made me feel attractive and likeable I thought I was in love or some shit. I didn't even realize until months after things had ended (bc I started realizing I wasn't into men) that he had probably actually just targeted me from the start and had not listened to me consent wise several times. Its easy to play things off when you have been exposed to a lot of media showing those kinds of relationships in a positive light (I used to read too much toxic wattpad as a kid) and when you are vulnerable for whatever reason.
@@FriendOfMaraPart of it definitely is the thrill/excitement of the "taboo". I remember back when I used to be into similar stories it was when I've been much less experienced romantically/sexually than now, so most things that weren't resembling Disney-esque "proper" romance was exciting. these "funny" or "cute" aggressive cats and dogs videos are SO common online though unfortunately. if only everyone learned to stop and critically think about what kind of context might exist around the animal videos they're liking online, they would be less popular and there would be a lot less mistreatment and abuse of animals happening for the sake of clout.

Honestly heartbreaking. Hope those cats are okay
"It's a not a kink. It's a crime." That's my new saying for everything now 🤣

On a bit of a serious note, my grandma always told my mother to never fight a scared person.
Your grandma Ronnie Kray??
That's why you never go quietly when someone tries to attack you
when would you ever fight a scared person in the first place??? lmao like in what kind of scenario would that ever happen
That’s so creepy”
not if the unattractive person is wearing a ghost cosplay
It's definitely still creepy if attractive people do it, but you can tell those comments are from people who've never had a scary/abusive ex; treating it like a kinky roleplay (in a public comment section) instead of some people's worst nightmare is, uh, interesting, let's say.
@@AgentPilot That always baffles me so much. These people are so far removed from the situation that for them it becomes a kind of scenario that only happens in fiction. Like being bitten by a werewolf or some crap, not like the real nightmare it is that certain people have to endure every day.
@@AgentPilot it is still a kink tho, people have taboo kinks too and having it doesn't mean they would support those actions irl nor downplay the victims that went through those horrible situation.
@@christinathein951 I hope you read friendofmara’s response bc you seem like you’re victim blaming 😬 not a healthy mindset to have there
