It’s sad that the ticwatch isn’t accurate. But I did expect that considering that they market it more for its features as a smart device and less as a fitness tracker. Though even then, I was a bit surprised by the heart rate performance. I though that it would be more accurate than it is 😢

Sleep as Android is so lacking in development really. I don't know what the Developers were doing for the last 5 years but honestly it seems to me that they are just completely lazy. Maybe I should develop my own app to track my sleep idk.@@1985fj60

Thanks once again Rob, I was so looking forward to this watch. Especially when Mobvoi announced they were using the Snapdragon W5+, then took forever to release. I was hoping it would be excellent, so I'm disappointed with the results. It could have & should have been a great watch.

Have you ever tested Apple Watches with default, non-fabric straps? Do you think that has a significant effect on results? Would other watches improve if you were to test them with a strap similar to the one you're using for Apple?
Dear, thank you for the review, it is a good SmartWatch, but it is not a good fitness tracker, unfortunately, I hope that next actualization improve this problems showed.
It would be very nice if you analyzed the algorithm used in apps that can use smart watches data such as Sleep as Android, then if the manufacturer's isn't good at least you have an alternative. That's exactly the case of TWP5 from which Sleep as Android can retrieve, accelerometer, heart rate and SpO2 data.

Your standards shame any other smartwatch / tracker reviewer out there. I hope you know how many appreciate your hard work and i personally rely on your research for my choices. Only suggestion i could make is to include battery life average for each device , not to compare with other devices but to have a sense of how often we can expect to charge each device. Any chance on testing the new redmi watch 4? Would be interesting to see how it compares with the huawei watch fit 2 though if existing data is any indication, the huawei is gonna be way more accurate
Tell you what i bought a new ticwatch something felt off since i was jogging and it reported by heartrate at 150 same as when i was running faster. I tried doing a run with 2 watches tic watch and galaxy4 there was a difference of about 29 beats. This is a really good looking watch but if the health features suck nah. Plus the software support is bad, mobvoi says its an AI company.
For the $$$ it's still hard to beat the Fitbit Charge 6 and Garmin Vivoactive 5 for the vast majority of those looking for a (Smartwatch) good/accurate way to track their everyday health. This is especially true for those on Android who want good battery life (7+ days). The Fitbit Charge 6 has been as low as $99 and Vivoactive 5 $249, wait for a sale or pay an extra $50 for each. Are there better...of course, but you're likely to get poor battery life and equal or much less accuracy...and pay more at the same time. For those living in the US (no Huawei) and on Android this is especially true.

Why wasn't blood oxygen level tested? I do like the battery life on this device. I wonder if using this combined with Sleep as Android, who recommend this watch due to open source access to all sensors, would see an overall improvement for tracking sleep/oxygen levels etc?

I ownder one of previus TickWatch pro. While it was good smart watch overall and customer service was supers. back then I stopped using it as sport watch. I same time Galaxy Watch 3 and one other watch. It simply calculated GPS distance and heart rate wrong. Far more than those two. When I tested it gave me far too low hear rate and far too big distance.I think TickWatch Pro should be seen as alternative smart watch to Galaxy and similar. In that sense its pretty good. But not as sport watch.
